Thanks!
Is a drop hashrate expected before the dag file becomes 8GB?
Is it worth investing in such cards?

Greetings.
Can i ask a question? if someone knows the answer ofc.
I need to mine with my 5700xt in "light" mode (as it was in claymore with setting "-ethi 0":50-55% gpu loading or "-ethi 1":80-85%)
and yeas, i know there're some settings in phoenix that should do this... but they can't.
with -gpow (any number) i'm getting https://i.imgur.com/XE0K521m.jpg (gpu loading) https://i.imgur.com/JwZCdUKm.jpg (core clock)
with -mi/-li the situation is almost the same - no stable mining. (https://i.imgur.com/P0U68drm.jpg)

Will be very thankful for any help.

you're not the only one who noticed, check previous page. My Vega VII dropped from 91 to 88 as well. You can notice that yesterday around 7:30 pm UTC global hashrate dropped everywhere in general when DAG epoch switched from 384 to 385 if I'm not mistaken.

Ok this must be the reason for my issue as well. Anyone dual mining also noticed dual mining hash rates drop to 0? I have 2 rigs and around the same time they both stopped mining blake2s. The miner connects to the dual coin pool and receives work but the reported hash rate is 0. It has been working fine for the past few days. I am assuming now this epoch event caused the issue. I tried different pools to make sure.

I have AMD RX580 cards, have not seen a hash rate decline on ethash.

Rig 1) 6 x RX580 8GB - since couple of weeks I started having problems with ETH. I have updated the drivers as they were pretty old. I have been using Claymore for a long time with no problems. I have read that it's no longer the best option, so I tried Phoenix miner, which I am using on the other Rig already - latest ver.5.4c. It starts, connects to the pool and at the end of the creation of the DAG, it gives this error:
Code:
2020.12.30:17:39:49.974: GPU1 GPU1: clSetKernelArg (-48)
2020.12.30:17:39:49.974: wdog Fatal error detected. Restarting.
I could not find solution so far. I have increased the virtual memory to 54000, just in case, the drivers are the latest version, the phoenix miner is the latest version. Any suggestions what could be causing this?

What is your output from phoenixminer list?

gonne try again.
i mine with latest drivers on windows 10.
i get a good hash rate on my 3060TI but i think there is something wrong with my settings.
share count is low but share difficulty is extremly high (see screenshot)
is this good/bad and what to do about it?

Looks like you are doing excellent. I don't run the same card but here is what I found for expected hash rates from a nice hash blog https://www.nicehash.com/blog/post/nvidia-rtx-3060-ti-mining-hashrate:

Code:
NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti mining performance
The first rumors have it that the RTX 3060 Ti can perform at 61 MH/s with a 60% power limit (120W) and applied overclocks (source).

We cannot confirm the above rumors, but we can confirm the hashrate of at least 53 MH/s. We do not know what mining software or overclocks were used.

Another example here, https://cryptoage.com/en/2285-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060ti-first-ethereum-mining-test.html

The "Effective speed:" from your image is > 61MH/s which means you are submitting shares at expected hashrate so you are good. That will fluctuate up and down but should over time average to ~59 MH/s which is your reported hasrate.

my radeon vii used to run 95~96 but this morning only runs 92 any thing happens to the miner software?
the size of the dag has exceeded 4gb, as the phoenixminer wrote, when this limit is exceeded, the mechanism of dag formation changes, and therefore the hash rate is slightly reduced and power consumption increases. perhaps in the next versions they will make adjustments and these parameters will improve
also you need to update the -gt parameter

Sapphire 11265-01-20G Radeon NITRO+ Rx 580 8GB GDDR5 Dual HDMI/ DVI-D/ Dual DP with Backplate (UEFI) PCI-E Graphics Card

I have a custom BIOS on all of them (18). I forgot what memory type Samsung / Micron. Memory is at 2200 mhz or 2250 mhz. I think 2200 is more stable. Before Claymore stopped I could get up to 33 mh/s with them. But I read Claymore was exaggerating.

I run my batch file as administrator.

Can you share details on how you are applying the claymore straps? I noticed that the GPU cards have a different order in Claymore VS Phoenix. With Claymore all the AMD cards came first as GPU 0, 1, 2 etc. And then the Nvidia cards would follow. But with Phoenix they are staggered I would have to change my Claymore command line settings to stagger them. So I just said forget it. I have 3 rigs and it would take time to arrange it correctly.

Here's what my Claymore batch looked like. I had to dial down one RX580 cardsto 2100 memory as you can see below because it would stop mining at 2200.

You expect them to know your setup with just this ?
How about you tell what you are mining, your motherboard, your gpu, your settings ?

setup doesnt matter, power consumption increased do to dag size. no matter what are you using with phoenix is increased power.
