Can someone report hashrate for AMD RX 570/580 4Gb on linux or windows 7 ?
Is bigger or the same than on Win10 ? Today i have only 22Mhz...

Thankyou!

I have 8Gb 580/570 on Win 10 and they range from 29-31 MH, never used 4Gb cards not sure what the hash speed difference would be.
Now is big different.... cards with 4Gb slowly dying at ethereum mining.... Dag size is too big

Hy,

I'm new at Phoenix, Hashrate is lower than on claymore but it works. So I try for dual mining, but didn't get a hashrate on the secand coin.
Copy the command line from the readme for dual mining and added my adresses.
Any tips, thx

What are you trying to dual mine....some coins like zil only mine for a short period every few hours.

Hi,

Blake2s

ETH on ethermine.org ETH, Blake2s on Nicehash:
      PhoenixMiner.exe -pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -pool2 ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555 -wal YourEthWalletAddress.WorkerName -proto 3 -dpool blake2s.eu.nicehash.com:3361 -dwal YourBtcWalletAddress -dcoin blake2s

B2S New Jobs getting in but speed is always zero. ETH Speed is on 39MH/s on vega 56, with claymore it was 41.That's OK for me and it looks stable.
thx

Wondering if its NH that is giving the issue.  Have you tried a Black2s pool instead of NH?  Even if just to confirm/deny its NH.

As for Vega 56 on PM im getting 47.76mhs on one and 49.21mhs  on another.  (first one is a rev 1 vega but both are air boost).  Wattage is around 0.812mv so about 115watts
core 1003 / mem 940 on mmpos Smiley

hi all this is my bat file, I want to ask what is -proto 3
is it neccesary ? I have 2 1070 nvidia and 3 RX 580 all 8 gb

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

REM IMPORTANT: Replace the ETH address with your own ETH wallet address in the -wal option (Rig001 is the name of the rig)
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool //eu1.ethermine.org:4444  -wal 0xbutkhg756gnfkhnkh56t87ng.rigname -proto 3

Both 5.2e and 5.1c sometimes detect one extra card

.....

There are 6 cards in this rig so GPU 1 and GPU 2 is the same card. Needless to say this does not end well

So far I have managed to run 5.1c over some time but not 5.2e
Windows 10
Most probably mixed-up drivers. Remove the drivers with DDU, then check if they are really removed - they should be listed only as "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" not as Radeon .... If necessary, run DDU again until you see only "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter"s in the Device Manager, only then install the new drivers.

I suspect this problem is related to how the latest Windows 10 build(s) deals with "Microsoft Remote Display Adapter" when connecting through RDP. I've seen this problem with more then one version of the AMD driver and both in PhoenixMiner and Claymore. All is fine if I reboot the miner and do not connect to it until after mining has started. But if I start the miner after logging in with RDP it will detect 2 GPUS on PCIe 1.
This issue can probably be solved in the miner but I suppose it's not of high importance.

Hi.

Just want to say THANK YOU to the @PhoenixMiner Devs for their work and support here.
I used Claymore before because it gives me the highest possible hashrates but got DAG generation errors the last days on three RX570 8GB.
First setting -eres 1 worked a few days with Claymore, then i had to set -eres 0 a few days later and at least it did not work anymore.

Now switched to PhoenixMiner 5.3b and it works fine after some tuning at the same speed.
89W , 1400rpm , 64°C , 30.5MH/s , cclock 1284 MHz , cvddc 900 mV , mclock 2050 MHz each of the GPUs (installed in a bigtower case, win10, Radeon 20.4.2)

Great work!
bye Claymore & hello Phoenix. Smiley

maybe its helpful for someone, my configfile:
Code:
-pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555
-wal <<walletaddress>>
-worker MININGPC

-hstats 2
-mode 1
-gswin 10

-fanmin 30
-tt 66
-ttli 68
-tstop 70
-tstart 50

-mt 1
-coin eth
-mi 14
-gt 44
-cvddc 900
-rxboost 20

Try to rise memclock a little. With core that high, it should hash a lot more.
I`m getting 30.4 at core 1100 memclock 2050 with Vcore 0,75 (micron) and 0,85 (samsung)

two rigs stopped working today, sapphire nitro+ 8gb

GPU2: Free VRAM: 7.950 GB; used: 0.050 GB
GPU2: Disabling DAG pre-allocation (not enough VRAM)
GPU2: Allocating DAG for epoch #379 (3.96) GB
GPU2: Allocating buffers failed with: clCreateBuffer (-61).

win7 64bit, blockchain beta drivers
restored original bios, installed 20.4.2., same thing
let us know if you manage to fix it, thanks

how much virtual ram?
test another miner like teamred and if it is run, let us know and we look again.
add -eres 0 for test

change os to win10.

32-50gb virtual ram
teamred works

win10 is an option  - just wanted to let you know, thanks

Hawaii GPUs need modified kernels to continue working with the larger DAGs, we just haven't had the time to make it. For now you can use -clkernel 0 to use the generic kernels - they will be slower, and you also should set -mi 10 or -mi 11 to decrease the stale shares. Another option is to mine ETC, where the DAG is much smaller but with the current profitability you are probably better with mining ETH with generic kernels.

If this is true then why gminer or nanominer still works on my R9 390 and without any speed reduction (30mh/s) on ETH?
Thanks, man, you saved me from mining ETC with these cards! I've spent the entire day and before that more days looking for a miner that can work with all my 390's for ETH with no luck on smos. The miners either don't load DAG on some cards, or simply won't hash. Gminer for example was hashing at full speed but with 0 accepted shares. For some reason I've missed only nanominer but after reading your post I decided to give it a try. For my surprise it worked well for all my 390's. My internet is dropping too much today and I can't judge how many are the stale shares, but it seems ok. I don't know if giving a root access will make the miners work and recognize the cards. The other problem is that with a bios mod with 150-200mV undervolt the cards crash with all miners except Claymore. If I put the default clocks in the OC tables somehow the clocks lower a bit, the hash drops with 1-2 Mh, but the cards are stable and don't hang. May be a lame solution, but these cards are power hungry with 330W from the wall and need that undervolt. After the bios mod the consumption drops to 220-230W, may be even less. I am not sure, since I didn't measure the consumption of the MB with a CPU load without the cards. Anyway, hopefully phoenixminer developers soon will fix the issue with these cards.

I would really love to see a screen shot of ANYONE that can pump out more than 30 MH/card on (12+ per rig) RX 580 cards and hash stable for more than 24 hrs. No matter what I try it just will not happen. As soon as I push to 30 or higher, the rig will start to crash. I used to tune individual cards and get higher hash rate but that function has been broken since forever ago. So I would really love to see if anyone out there is actually able to achieve this.

Hi,

I'm really struggling here.

Was using Claymore until this morning, when it died...and used the opportunity to swap over to PhoenixMiner.
Using the same settings hasn't been so simple.
My MH/s on my RX580's have dropped from a stable 32Mh/s@77W to 19Mh/s.

My setup:
2x RX580 + 2x GTX 1070
Windows 10
PhoenixMiner 5.3b
AMD driver 20.4.2 (with compute)
Stock GPU BIOS

I've tried everything to get an increased speed:

Re-install drivers
Using OverDriveNTool to alter AMD Card settings (this is what I used with Claymore)
Using PhoenixMiner to alter AMD Card Settings
read the readme and tried several options (-vmr, -gt etc.) - no improvement
tried autotune
played with the strap, rxboost etc...

I feel it is PhoenixMiner not applying the correct strap. It's probably a bit more complicated as I have the 2 NVIDIA cards there.
The NVIDIA cards are running about 1MH/s slower, but I can live with that for now.

On claymore my settings were:
-epsw x -eres 0 -strap POL8H1,POL8H3,POL8H1,POL8H3,1,1 -rxboost 21 -sintensity 75 -mode 1 -mport 0 -tstop 75 -tt 60 -fanmin 20 -fanmax 85 -wd 1 -r 0 -ftime 5

On PhoenixMiner they are:
-coin etc -straps 1 -vmr 33 -tstop 75 -tt 60 -fanmin 20 -fanmax 85 -wdog 1 -rmode 1 -acm  - Getting 19.5 Mh/s

I also tried this: (setting a '0' for my NVIDIA cards so not to alter their mclock etc.)
-coin etc -straps 1 -nvmem 1 -tstop 75 -tt 60 -fanmin 20 -fanmax 85 -wdog 1 -rmode 1 -acm -cclock 0,1200,1175,0,1200,1175 -mvddc 0,850,850,0,850,850 -mclock 0,2150,2125,0,2150,2125 -cvddc 0,850,850,0,850,850 - Getting 20.2 Mh/s

Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

Thats the settings...stock cards (vega56 msi air boost blower cards) core 1003 / mem 940 / 812 mv .... using mmpos fans are at 50% cause these are older dirty cards...one is hynix one is samsung memory and because they are vegas...trm....  for all my other amds i run PM but vegas...they are “different”.  Using Ethos i couldnt have them in a rig with 5XX series or it would not mine...it was either vegas or 5xx series not both.  MMPOS doest have that issue.

Are you kidding? My 570's work with 31.7-31.9 Mh, and 580's with 32.2-32.4 Mh for 3 years without issues. They are on 12 card rigs which used to work with windows, now with smos. Only the last night the 4Gb cards hanged during the epoch change but with a reboot they worked well again.  On my main computer with windows 10, the 580 8Gb card is hashing with 32.220 with claymore straps and -rxboost 1. I raised only the mem clock to 2100. I could raise it to 2170 and I will get another 0.300 Mh, but I prefer not to, so that I can use the computer freely and watch videos with no issues.

Anyone else experience a 2 mhs drop in their rigs?  I have 2 RX5700 rigs,  no change in OC or UV and both dropped approximately 2 mhs.  Is this just due to Epoch growing?
