Theres really nothing we cant do if btc is used by criminials. Difinitly it will be, since its still a currency. Like fiat money, which is also used bg criminals, and theres nothing we can do about it.

I actually heard about bitcoin when I was watching a video about the dark web. It is said that bitcoin was commonly used there to buy drugs or illegal transactions. Being associated with illegal stuffs are one of the reasons why people think that bitcoin is bad. But if you think of it anything can be used by criminals or terrorist these days.
I also heard about bitcoin being used in illegal transactions and such and i think it really can be used as a way of making money that all criminals wanted. This idea really creates a perception that bitcoin is an illegal system of transactions and investment. People who tend to use bitcoin should also check everything they do here so that they will not encounter those people who have bad intentions. |

Well we can not deny that all god things must also come with flaws. Since one of bitcoin's great characteristics is its anonymity when it comes to transactions it also has a disadvantage. Bitcoin has become the number 1 currency in the black market because it is almost untrackable. But most users are using for the good. Some day we could think of something that could solve this problem.

I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.
We all know that bitcoin is a currency and it can be used to pay for services that we have acquired. Bitcoin can be used for good or neither bad thing due to its availability in the market. We have already heard news about illegal deals with the use of bitcoin as a mode of payment. |

I agree with you doesn't mean that the fault of one person in a community all the community will suffer the consequence. It is the work of the government to apprehend those criminals. If they use btc doesn't mean btc will suffer the consequence. |

This is a way of using bitcoin on the bad guys of criminals. This is the biggest harm of using bitcoin that I can know until now. But this is inevitable, because criminals are real everywhere in the world, and if they do not use bitcoin, they will use other means to carry out their actions. I hope that the criminals will not be able to use bitcoin for their bad intentions.

Yes some people use bitcoin for illegal activities,due to bitcoins nature of anonimity an untrackable identity of the user and fast process that makes it useful for criminals to do their bad activity.Because of this some countries are aware and afraid of the negative outcome that might occur to their government so the result is making bitcoin and other crypto currency banned.Bitcoin can be legal or illegal it depends the user of it and how it is use for.

many now use bitcoin for crime, they use fiat for its crime, they are hard to find and hard to trace because they use their position. until whenever the crime can not be exterminated because evil will always come when someone's lust increases. now many are subjected to criminals such as big companies like bank banks, even they prepare everything to commit a crime, so be careful you who have considerable wealth.

Yup, there is no way those devious minds would not take full advantage of the fact that bitcoin is decentralized and cannot be monitored or controlled by the government since they are not allowing the full regular use of bitcoin in other countries since they cannot tax it and cannot personally gain something from it. Also there are lot of people using this as a way of fraud in tricking someone to pay money their money in exchange for nothing.

Bitcoin is a global payment system and its decentralized nature makes it all the more attractive to criminally minded people, but we cannot be saying these crimes were unheard of until Bitcoin came on board some 9 years ago. What's fact is that a criminal remains a criminal with or without Bitcoin unless and until they change fundamentally. This situation is one such cases of seeing a half filled cup, as half empty, because looking around anyone can find a million and one ways Bitcoin is very useful! Yes bitcoin is used by the criminals, thats why people are having big time and using this for crimes and investing for their weapons or ilegal works

There is no doubts that bitcoin has been used by some of criminals. As bitcoin is existing like money, criminals can use bitcoins for their illegal transactions. But ofcourse, only criminals with a high position in our country can be able to used bitcoin for illegal transaction. Drug users from a poor puberty cant be able to use bitcoin as a payment for buying drugs am I right? Because nowadays, only rich and powerful people has only the power to do such a thing. Its sad to say but some of Government officials are sometimes one of them.

Just like fiat money, bitcoin is also used in illegal activities as payment especially in deep web where criminals and terrorists do their transactions. In real world, fiat money is used as payment in exchange of services wether it's illegal or not. While in virtual world like deep web, bitcoin is used as payment in exchange of their services like hacking, assassination and more. It's safer for them to use bitcoin because it's decentralized and can not be tracked down by the government.

Yes, I think, bitcoin is not as anonymous as Cash is, and cash is far more desirable to criminals than bitcoin will be for many years, if ever.
Keep in mind that the bitcoin blockchain is a complete record of every single bitcoin transaction ever made, and we all have real-time access to it. People's names don't show up on the blockchain, but account addresses do, and those can be tracked backwards and forwards in time... Not ideal for criminals that don't want to be tracked.

it's a great venue to deal with illegal transactions indeed, but we are already seeing market adoptions and may countries right now are already getting knowledge about this industry so unlike before where criminals can do easily their illegal acts now some jurisdictions are already being implemented. |

Possible. Because transactions are anonymous and no one can see what is your identity. So possible transactions made with illegal activities can be done easy without revealing identity of both parties.
