It is very possible, we all know that users and transactions of bitcoin are anonymous so that everyone including the krmininal make bitcoin for transactions compared to fiat or transfer banks.

Criminals will always be criminals, they always used any kind of payment to transact their needs. They always have ways, whether they used bitcoin or not bitcoin should not be blame on this instead the one to be blame is the government because it is their job to stop this terrorist. Whether there is bitcoin or not criminals will always be there and will always have ways. They can use gold, paper money or everything that has value.

Unsecured wallets pave a way for scammers to get your bitcoins if you are not wise. And i believe criminals, hackers and scammers use bitcoin to lure their victims into ponzi schemes etc.

When it is said that bitcoin can be used for some terrorist purposes and everything else, it is ridiculous. Bitcoin is probably the most recent tool that would be used if it was necessary to Finance an illegal event. The current global financial system is essentially a pyramid scheme based on the United States dollar. The whole world understands this, and many are looking for an alternative settlement system and a way out of this financial pyramid. There will always be attempts to crush bitcoin. But I am sure that we will still move on to a decentralized financial system. It will be built on bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency, but it will definitely happen

I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.
Bitcoin is more secured and by that time.if people used it wisely thats the better thing to do. SOME people doing bad for the sake money like they used bitcoin in illegal way . Dont do negativity in bitcoin since it helps you a lot in every aspects just waot until you get the higher value. |

With many good things came with BTC and Blockchain, the features which can be used negatively are its "Immutability" & "Decentralized nature".
Some people are using this in illegal activities as it is not traceable, but this is how it is. "Wanna cry ransomware" is one of the example of how it can be used to rob people.

If a criminal uses BTC as payment method he is clearly stupid and does not know the privacy limitations of Bitcoin. There will always be criminals, and they will always find creative ways to pay for their operations.
The crypto space have developed a few privacy coins which will assist the criminals but it is important to realise that privacy is not equal to illegal. Even if you have nothing to hide I'm sure that you do not want everybody to have access to your account.
Image that your neighbor can access your BTC account if they have your public key.
Privacy is a right, what you do with it is dependent on the motives of the individual. Obviously the best, and most private currency is cash.

Maybe for now, yes. Or other more secretive alternative coins. It seems to me that the time will come that criminals will escape from the world of crypto currency into the phat calculation - because, I think, law enforcement bodies will also improve the search for transaction chains, even in the most hidden crypts. Yes, it is true that many bitcoin is now being used by many criminals as a payment tool for crime. But we can't deny bitcoin for this reason. These criminals hold only a small fraction of bitcoin's holdings. |

They are using bitcoin because they know that they will stay unknown if they will be using bitcoin because the process of transferring money to another person is so easy and it doesn't require them to fill up some personal information because with just the bitcoin address then they can easily send money and receive money from any criminal. |
