I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.

Yes it is true that these bitcoin ends are used by criminals and hackers, to buy something forbidden like firearms for trafficking in drugs and other crimes, since transactions using bitcoin will not be tracked by the state or other.

This is a real freedom so it seems that anyone can commit a criminal act aimed at anyone or for their own enjoyment. It's a difficult transaction to track for what it does but if they're smart.

My friends told me about this but I can't believe that they can use this for crime. My friend told me that bitcoin use as a transaction for drugs because here there is no evidence when it comes to transaction. I think that is the other reason why some country did not accept bitcoin as payment because they all know that bitcoin is use by criminals.

As far as i know the bitcoins is really used in the black market before it was popularized in the mainstream because the bircoins are very active in the deepweb until the people discovered the deep web and they are now known by almost teh wold technology literate in the whole world. Not knowing that before bitcoins are just being used to buy drugs amd other illegal activity.

To be honest, this is my first time reading a thread saying that bitcoin are used by criminals as payment transaction. However, we cannot control those criminals to use bitcoin because obviously, bitcoin is created for good purpose, but there are bad people who abused it. Internet is commonly used to make crime because it is the easiest way, however bitcoin is only used for transactions and in real life, fiat is also used by criminals to buy drugs, guns and etc. So in short, it is almost the same.

People who are buying bitcoins are no exemptions. Any people can buy bitcoin, even criminals or even an ordinary person. As long as he has money to buy bitcoin, he can transact bitcoin and trade it.

Everything will be control by criminals who dont have dignity to do crime even bitcoin use by abusing people such like scam and want to earn money from scamming all peaople use it thats why we cannot tell when, who or what they use to do crime and bitcoin can be used and there is little possibility to stop it when it comes to high quality criminals.

you are right but i think if criminals  are using bitcoin so it's not a mistake of bitcoin because bitcoin is a currency and currency dont know who is good and who is bad but i will request to bitcoin administration to find a solution for it because bitcoin price is very high and especially in third world countries its price is very high if they change bitcoin in their local currency so they can get a very good amount of money  and hen they can use it for different crimes  such as killing ,drugs dealing and many more.

That's mostlikely the reason why bitcoin is risky and not tolerated by the other country since it's history of transactions is untrackable and much more vulnerable for illegal activities.You're right bitcoin and internet is entirely different to each other but both of them might be used in such illegal activities by criminals and etc since it's difficult to identify their unknown identity if they will used either internet nor bitcoin for such evil deeds.

yes they are using bitcoin, criminals use bitcoin because it is not traceable they can hide their illegal transactions easily. they use bitcoin to scam people also.

I do not know how can you say this since there are a thread here about bitcoin not being a real anonymous digital currency since your address can still be tracked and the myth that says that bitcoin is used by criminals is not true since as I have said, it can be still tracked.

Bitcoin is blessing to every people. Using bitcoin in bad things is a choice of the holder of bitcoin. Meaning you should not blame bitcoin if it is use in illegal things. There are are many things in this world that are good but if you choose to use it in bad, you should blame it yourself not to bitcoin.

Honestly, bitcoin/altcoins can be use by Good and bad people. So my answer is yes! it can be use by the criminals it is because its kind an open source that can be use use for illegal purposes.
