Yes bitcoin was originally used as one of the most commonly used means of payment in the dark web. But do we have to ban things that are also being used by the criminals? Of course not. Remember anything that is good can be used in bad ways too.

I agree with you that bitcoin and internet are just tools . It depends on us on how to use them. I mean good people same as bad people are also everywhere. even there is no bitcoin, bad people will find their own way to do bad things. I still believe that there are many good people out there who are using bitcoin to help their family financially.  There are so much good things bitcoin had given us , especially the opportunity to earn money and a chance to have an investment. paying our bills wihtout going to a queue.

Yes it can also ne used by criminals and scammers who want to earn money in a wrong way. We can encounter many of this and this is the reason why other people dont trust bitcoin because they once a victim of this criminals.

criminals can use bitcoin to find funds to facilitate action, and not only that they become fiat criminals. they are people who use neat suits and occupy high positions in governments of various countries and at top executives positions of various international companies. they are the criminals who take the rights of their own citizens.

How could one say that bitcoins are used by criminals, there is cyber crime that is a different thought on the internet and not criminals on bitcoins because one of the main advantage of bitcoin is that bitcoin cannot be duplicated which is possible with fiat currencies and so this bitcoins can avoid criminal activities, other thing is about hackers, hackers can even hack normal banking functions as every transactions and databases are recorded in the system will be transferred online to the head office which makes it easy for hackers. Bitcoin cannot be hacked if you are using hardware wallets and if you want to be hacked you can store your bitcoins on online wallets.

Bitcoin is also just like fiat money in terms of usage and who uses it. Fiat money is also used by criminals and terrorists as payment for their illegal doings but they can't do anything about fiat money too. That's the same with bitcoin and in bitcoin, their transactions are more safer from the detection of any government agencies so you can say that bitcoin is on more on their side.
