Bitcoin is being used by criminals, but its usefulness is diminishing as authorities get better at tracking transactions. Any major criminal who thinks bitcoin offers full anonymity is sadly mistaken.

Bitcoin is the money and money is used by every one in the world like the bitcoin is used many big business man and the buyers and sellers they also used by criminals may be i am not sure but they can also use this form of money the bitcoin is internet based currency may this will be used by every part of the world people. those individuals who have the power they can use the cash money and those who have the skills they can use bitcoin for this task.

I think, yes. Bitcoin is most commonly used by criminals because, first it is thru internet where most of the people don't have access, second, crime is much easier and faster with the use of today's technology, third, money is everything and it can be the source of evil and that's why there are many cyber criminals out there that uses bitcoin as their fundings to their bad deeds. They can access through your private informations and other stuff so be careful enough on what to click and what to display on the internet.

Bitcoin can be used by all, from investors, enthusiasts, buyers, and sellers to criminals and terrorists. If the conventional money can be used in crimes, why not bitcoin? I think it is true that criminals and terrorists use bitcoin as their currency to transact with people who also involved in crime and terrorism. From now, cyber security became an issue and professionals are working in blockchain from now on to monitor these kinds of acts. |

I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.
Yes, many criminals use bitcoin as a way of trading. I don't think it can blame bitcoin. If there is no bitcoin, there may be other COINS that will replace bitcoin as a way of dealing with criminals. Many countries ban bitcoin for this reason, which I think is unwise. |

bitcoin surely is used by criminals. Same as water and bread. As criminals also eat and drink. Thank to that they can exist. Are we going to ban drinking water for this reason? I don't think so. Same with bitcoin and other crypto.

It is the con of being an anonymous transaction as bitcoin. You can not tell most of the time who is using the network. It is not surprising if most of the bitcoin price came from bad elements abusing the network for their dubious actions.

Certainly many criminals use bitcoin just to get stolen because they already know bitcoins today and many investors are here. so the criminals have the opportunity to use it with their techniques to get stolen and what other techniques to get the lame money litter from bitcoin.

I think there are some criminals who use bitcoin. Why is that? because bitcoin is anonymous so criminals can eliminate their identity with bitcoin. So they can act safely I think. that's just my opinion. Although not all are used by criminals.

Yes it is unfortunately bitcoin has been always connected to the criminals,
It is a perfect get away or a perfect currency for them ,Remember the Silk Road I think that's what started this whole thing bitcoin has been known because of it,
Bitcoin is also a perfect way for money laundering .

I think so, especially corruptor. They can use bitcoin or other coin to clean their money (money laundry). By using crypto currency they can transfer their money between trading platform freely and cash their money out of country. Isn't it obvious...?  |

Yes they use it money laundering and i think it roots on corruption and theft . Perfect for them to use, anonymous, untraceable and no third party needed. Easy. Those who’ve used bitcoin to scam people is also considered crime.

i totally agree if they say bitcoin is been used by criminals but that aint the cas cause bitcoin has brought more than bad,and just because some people are using it for the wrong reason doesn't mean errybdy does?.
I feel that if cash and web is being utilized by criminals, I see no motivation behind why BTC won't be utilized by criminals. The amount increasingly that BTC exchange is decentralized and can't be followed to a specific people. It benefits criminals more use to accumulate their riches. |
