Don't recall the thread, but search the forum for "bulldozer boys" and you'll probably find it.

The last person that tried got hurt by his bodyguards....
Link? Pics? I've never seen a single proof of it. Anyway, we just have to hire bigger bodyguards. Professional hitman does not cost that much in poland, the ticket to New York will cost more 8P

OK It's confirmed, today I got offer from local chinese reseller (in Poland) for Avalon chips. He got them from china in ammount of 500 pieces. He is not a bitcoin miner, he is not even aware what are these chips really designed for. He is just regular chinese electronics reseller. I will try to provide photo confirmation asap (tomorow according to seller). Alibaba offers are real!!

He is not aware of what these chips are designed for, yet he is selling them and paid a premium for them? What sounds wrong with this? I'm not into Yifu, he probably cost all of us in many ways, but something isn't right in your statement. Maybe he is scamming you... IAS

Yifu - Karma is a bitchOn a lighter note, I think I figured out who Yifu is trying to represent himself as... Leslie Chow. http://youtu.be/ugaZihPC10ICome on people, lets try to keep some humor in the situation!

I want Yifu's head on a stick.
Its bad to fall of the earth. It's for a small kid to say i'm not death after no communicatio to people who gave you millions. The worst part is to lie / scam and still not doing anything the third time.

+1 I just want to see Avalon top managers in prison. Don't really care about chips or refund. They can have it back.

May we know the price he is asking from you? 31 usd per chip, according to what he says someone ordered 500 chips by him (he was just a middle man) and did not show up to pick his order. That's how he got those chips

I'd buy all 500 at $10 USD per chip. Not interested at $31 per chip...

Prison? Jeez.. I'm as upset with the delays as anyone, but this seems a little harsh.
I do agree though that Avalon are basically scammers at this point.

It's quite laughable, 4PH/s of obsolete 110nm Avalon chips with no chance of ROI, probably wont even cover power costs. What were they thinking? What sort of a business plan is that? I know, more must be better!

The other chips (bitfury and their own 28nm) mentioned in the article make more sense for long term mining (as stated).
I don't think they were planning on getting to 4PH on Avalon chips.... you would need your own power station. The part of the article that didn't make sense to me was the "supercomputer"? A super computer would be crappy as a hasher compared to an asic.
Maybe the whole article is full of crap... /shrug

Don't be ridiculous. It's going to be quite some time before Avalon chips can't cover power costs.
