It does me laugh a bit. Steals millions, hardly anyone cares, Jon Montroll doesn't even have a negative trust rating.  I gave him a negative trust rating a few months ago, and I think, one other guy. Isn't that weird.

Again I wonder if he paid off a lot of users because I just can't fathom why so few people seem to be upset that this thief took their money.

My bad trust rating for Jon / Ukyo is already 2 months old.

As for Danny, he replied to my PM yesterday. Basically he used sarcasm to tell me that it would be unfair to give him negative feedback because he just wanted to help. I replied that it was totally not the point, sarcasm is inappropriate and that he just either has to keep his word or say that he's no longer involved. As simple as this. Waiting for follow-up.

Could you please quote his word regarding a time frame? AFAIR nobody who was involved gave ever an ETA.
I don't see where somebody is not keeping his word. Plus I don't see a benefit from a statement

That's because you have the wrong people in your Trust-list (let me guess: DefaultTrust?). For me, Ukyo shows up with a ton of negative trust.

He has bad ratings. He only has more good ratings so he still is in the positives. Though it wouldnt change anything anyway.

Anyway... i would have awaited to get at least an explaination instead only "No". When i described what its about at foundation forum he asked me to send an email. So it would be strange when he only now knew that he can't handle it after he already knew the topic weexchange and ukyo.

First step checking out if he can get more info, maybe putting pressure to get info. Sueing isn't the step from the start, first trying to gain information in case there is a gag order.

I'd be really happy if you sued him and hope you do. It'd be nice if there were any reprecussions for him stealing all our money, and at the very least, we'd finally hear the truth, whether it was his scam to steal the money or he gambled away everyone's deposits on risky investments or whatever the case may be.

That being said, I think the chances are pretty slight.  Jon Montrol purposefully seemed to set up his company so that it has to do so, with one part of being registered in Bali, one part registered in Australia etc.  This is also shown in his IRC chats how he says that WeExchange and Bitfunder are totally separate companies and how he can't talk about what happened to our stolen millions 'for legal reasons' (which seem to be basically 'I did something illegal and you lost all your money so the less I say the better off I am').

I don't even know if you could find a lawyer who would be up for taking this on and it would cost you a really exorbitant amount of money to do so and best case would likely be that he goes bankrupt and you don't get any of your money back (which he also said he'd do, in IRC chats, if he got sued).

Probably the only people who got their stolen BTC back where the people that did enough stuff 'in real life' to warrant them being scary enough to Jon that he'd pay them off.

Danny made the point to me recently in a PM, that he is owed what sounds like a considerable sum from Jon/Ukyo/Bitfunder/Weex. And i believe him.
However, we have recently been shown that it matters not, what connections, or skin, or 'knowledge' you have in this game, where you are dealing and relying on someones word.
What i mean is.....how much did Eric V and Charlie S have under Gox's control?
How many days before Mark was forced to bow, was Andreas and Charlie saying that insolvency was not an issue?

Dont get me wrong, im not judging the people named here per se. Its how they approach their judgements, is what i question.

So just relying on Danny's involvement is flawed and based on hope alone........UNLESS WE SEE EVIDENCE OF REAL PROGRESS!
