Is source code will be updated to 0.16?
I was just about to ask this as well.

Is there any chance of this taking advantage of the enhancements present in the 32nm intel processors?

ufasoft, does your miner get new work per thread, or two threads work on the same getwork? The latter would be better for in future versions.

Now single getwork used. Its range distributed between working threads.

So you split the nonces to try between threads and give them the same work? Cool.
Is it possible we can increase the askrate above 60?

Ok, can you allow a higher askrate? I usually for a CPU input at least 10-11 minutes on a getwork.

Is will not be good, because getwork updates its own data (new transactions included to block) a few tmes every minute.

If miners will not call GETWORK frequently then many Bitcoin transactions will get stuck

Does Ufasoft miner need SDK for working with GPUs?
Does Ufasoft miner automaticly use GPU mining if SDK are installed and there is GPU available?
How does Ufasoft miner work actually with GPU mining?

@Ufasoft
Did you UPXed this version? Why is only 198 KB?

EDIT
I get error on Win XP SP3, friend tested on W7 same error.

@holycow

question 1: no idea, but it worked with a GPU on a computer of mine without needing to install or update anything.
q2: used my gpu automatically. you can turn gpu and cpu mining on and off as well as set how many threads(cores) the cpu uses.
q3: dunno, it worked good on my pc. though after 5-12 minutes of use hash rate dropped by 75%, no idea why... i don't use it for mining so its a sorta non issue for me so never checked into it.

also never had any program errors before and love this little app. hope the problem gets solved Smiley

1. You need not to install SDK, only Catalyst.
2. GPU available if Catalyst installed
3. if OpenCL.DLL found it uses it, else it uses AMD CAL with lower performance
4. Yes, UPXed
5. The bug fixed, please redownload. Thank you!

AMD CAL? Does this mean the miner supports cards < HD 4300? As in IGP, HD3k?

I'm getting the following error:

Well, you obviously need to specify arguments. Not sure if serious, or just trolling.

I'm serious, i posted that screenshot because even if i parse arguments through guiminer i still get that error, in the previous version i didn't had this issue(if i use the 0.16 i don't get that error):

The newer version has support for GPUs and other stuff, you need to do this: -t <threads for the cpu> -g <yes or no for using the gpu) and -i <device number>
