Dear FreeTrade,

I think you should seriously rethink the difficulty adjustment. It is just not acceptable that it takes over 1hour to find a block when 6mins is targeted. When it would be an exception ok, but this is starting to become norm.

i repost my comment

The difficulty doesn't work properly at all.
There is huge diff spike who really slow the network and the blockrate, then because of this low blockrate, the diff go down. But it go down too much, so the blockrate is now too high and the diff rise...too much again.
And it's happening again.

There is a *50 spread between the low and high diff spike. It's definitely something wrong with the diff algo.

I guess this is the big ramp up  Grin

Will we ever reach block 240?

Difficulty adjustment is really funny. Going up and down in waves.

From my pespective i think this coin is trying to intimidate botnet's wich PTS couldn't do, in beeeeer.org you can see botnet's at work... anyway working with this algo (AES+IN) is trying to difficulty those botnet's, if im right the dev's could work in a miner to us without any worry, botnet coin's is always dommed to fail becouse of the price drop in few weeks. IF MMC survive those botnet's the price for it can survive and you can count me in for sure!

So can you clarify if it's going to be as impossible to get a coin? Is the reward going up but the speed is as stupid slow? Because if so whats the point of being an early miner unless you have a super CPU anyway.

I don't think it's the difficulty adjustment that's the issue. Probability is really hard to predict with such a low amount of hashes per minute. I think that as miners are optimized and get quicker, that the coin will stabilize.

My CPU hashes QRK at 60,000,000 hashes per minute, with this it hashes 2.5, lol.

Just my thoughts.

Actually you may be into something here. Many people that have received 0 coins after 10+ hours are gone, and there is no mining pool (because it's not a clone of another coin, so it takes time to open a pool). Few people are left mining. With the difficulty that high and very few hashes per minute we could find the next block in 5 minutes, or 5 days.

It should have more value per coin than PTS, since it's much more scarse.

We need a bounty to defeat block 222.

If we can't beat him, all miners will be gone and the coin will fail.
