Just a heads up, I had an order in on 1.10 .. Ive decided the potential delivery time means these units will barely ROI, if at all. I emailed them w/ my order# asked for a refund and received it about an hour later =) At least they are delivering on refund requests. I original paid via BTC & they refunded me BTC

Is now the right time? I was scoffed, mocked, ignored and ridiculed for littering this thread with do not buy warnings. Is it, is it I told you so time now?

Advice for all: If you aren't in the first 5 orders for an unproven group buy, forget it. I don't think these vendors are scamming, they just get so overwhelmed that they can't possibly deliver on time.

To the btmine company sorry, i dont 'skype', but you can get a hold of me via email and now paypal. Well it looks like they just refunded me my paypal without any sort of reply. Do you think they shipped my miner? I paid on Jan 7th, and they wrote in OP: orders on 1/7/2014 already went to HK , we will give you track number ASAP , I swear machines were shipped , we just don't have number yet Do you think they will send me my tracking number for the parcel that they swear they shipped on the 7th? Maybe I will get lucky and one will arrive!! It looks like the OP has been changed the group buy to [CLOSED] To their credit, it looks like BTMINE appears to still be refunding people. I wonder if they will take what they learned here open a new group buy under a new identity? To those still in the game, I hope you get your units in a reasonable time perhaps I was the only one on the 7th being lied to. Otherwise to those with BTC invested, I hope you get satisfaction one way or another.

If you do receive a unit that was refunded you should still pay BTMine for the unit. Even if you have to work out a discounted price to account for delays.

Right now the market is flooded with mining gear (mostly from Asia) who use gen 1 chips with top performance of ~200 GH/s
Sorry guys, but this price of more than $2000 per such an "antique" unit was well suited for the beginning of year 2013.
Actually you can buy mining contracts worth 200 GH/s with less than your price.

So don't buy it then... and leave the ones that have CHOSEN to do so alone.

What boggles my mind is the guy here that says "he doesn't do Skype"
Sorry buddy but your dealing with an international company, people are telling you they reply over skype with no issue, but you don't do skype. If you were so worried about your $2k or 2 btc you'd download the friggin software.
I don't get people.
Anyway I hope more people cancel so I get my unit faster. And if you think there is no ROI on these units, even better. Get your refund now.

I don't skype I was successful in contacting them via Email. You just have to know what time to do it. I also jumped on paypal so getting money back is not an issue. They had no problem giving back refunds. The thing that got me though is If it shipped why would they be so willing to give back refunds? That's what don't make sense. If the item is in rout getting a refund is hard unless you plan on returning the item.

If they can take your money via email (paypal) they should have the ability and courtesy to reply via email. I don't see why I have to go install some third party video conferencing software? I am glad that you know how to 'deal internationally'. Guess I am just too old to keep up with the times
