I got my tracking on a friday, but it actually didn't show movement until the monday, and then it moved fast - got it on wedsnesday.

Getting a tracking number from DHL doesn't mean it's started moving - look at it closely to be sure it's moving vice just shipping info creation.

I don't have a good link but I can explain pretty quickly. Download cgminer and zadig (for windows). Plug in your Avalon directly from the main control board to your PC. Change the driver to winUSB. Click install and then run cgminer with
--avalon-options 115200:24:10:D:1500:55 from the command prompt.

Whoa - that seems easy..  Do you know if this works with linux and the a stock version of cgminer?

Anyways, I'll give it a try one of these days.  The embedded processors is doing fine for now but I would like to SSH remotely and see the CGMiner interface.

Yeah, I have an order on the 7th that I received a tracking number for last night but it has no movement yet.  Status is just Shipment Information Received.  Hopefully they will actually receive the package soon.

Despite the various mistakes at least they are working on getting things shipped unlike many other group buys.

Well got an email that two of my miners shipped but

It had someone else's name on it......

For as little as they appear to be shipping out.....sure seems they cant keep track of customers

If they have 20 people work should be able to get 100 out a day no trouble

But my BTC is worth less now than when I paid them so to get a refund and not get the store of value will really tick me off

Enough said

Is that not the BITCOIN ecosystem? You pay 1 BTC you get 1 BTC back? That's just how I see it but hopefully you do get your money back.

Uh.  No. The asic standard practices guidelines states:
Quote
Take a customers $ or BTC for pre-orders.  Upon being legally required to give a refund, refund whichever is worth less $ or BTC.

So when the if the bitcoin goes up before you get a refund then you would get less coin?

On another subject would you be able to run the 2 blades off of a Raspberry Pi?

On another subject would you be able to run the 2 blades off of a Raspberry Pi?

HashFast took orders in BTC: (~60BTC for first round buyers) they are now offering refunds of $5,600USD (The lower of the USD/BTC value paid)

If they run the units off a tplink, I don't see a reason a Pi wouldn't work just fine.

--avalon-options 115200:24:10:D:1500:55 from the command prompt.

These ship set to

--avalon-options 115200:16:D:1400:55  (1400Mhz)

if you set

--avalon-options 115200:16:D:1500:55  (You're overclocking from stock by 100 Mhz)

******
The values are baud : miners : asic count : timeout : frequency : technology.
******
From the CGminer ASIC-Readme file.

Baud:
The device is pretty much hard coded to emulate 115200 baud so you shouldn't
change this

Miners:
Most Avalons are 3 module devices, which come to 24 miners. 4 module devices
would use 32 here. (Our devices are 2 module devices = 16 miners)

Asic count:
Virtually all have 10, so don't change this.

Timeout:
A value of 'd' means cgminer will calculate it for you based on the frequency
and is highly recommended.

Frequency:
This is the clock speed of the devices. For Avalon 110nm devices, values from
256 upwards are valid with the default being 282 and the maximum practical
being approximately 350. For 55nm devices values from 1000-2000 are valid with
1500 being the default. (Ours shipped @ 1400)

Technology:
What sized technology ASICs are in use in the avalon, choices are 55 or 110,
corresponding to the nm technology chips in use. (we have 55nm chips)

Anyone have time to write up some instructions? with pictures

I'd be willing to donate

Can do. Possibly will take pictures of whole unboxing in our warehouse and make setup quides.
English not my main so i dont like to write too much.

Ordered with PSU gonna scrape them and replace with proper. Maybe initial tests with stock setup.
I have 8 units of 1250w Chieftec PSU:s that have single rail of 12v 102A. Our outside temprature in here is -18c -0F haha i possible place them in 5-10c ambient temperature warehouse. Was reading today in here about that guy in Australia who is running his KNC stuff in carage with outside temperature of 40c 108f  !!! wow i would die in that temp. Yes as a human i would die. Apparently KNC not..
