I am not local to New York, I am in Kentucky, but shipping in the U.S. is not really a big deal.  I will talk to you Monday.

Mtnminer

Let's talk monday then.  I am in a holding pattern until then probably because BTmine doesnt answer on weekends.  You local to NY?

If you haven't returned it or sold it before to long.  I may be interested, just got to get my 5 here and running first.  They should be delivered Monday.

Mtnminer

paypal dispute opened.  this thing is going back.  i thought only one capacitor fell off when it was two......not to mention a third that is missing all together.

i was thinking of selling on ebay instead of returning but I wouldn't even want to sell this to someone that doesn't know how to fix it or how to maintain it when other issues arise.

if anyone here wants to buy it for what i paid, didn't buy PSU but I have two of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153174.  We could discuss shipping terms but I think splitting shipping would be fair.  I would take either paypal or BTC.

PM me if interested.  I'm in New York.

Just had one of my units pretty much stop working.  was going past the temp cutoff.  Powered it off, opened up the case, everything looked fine.  Powered it back on and it seems to be running fine for the past 10 minutes.  Huh

What level were you running your fans at the time?  Have you changed the fan speeds since?  All this information will help us all perfect the settings this space saving design.  These are the size of an Avalon mini, but way more hashing speed and heat!

If there is the interest, I can create a wiki for these type of Chinese Avalon minis on steroids and we can help everone who will be buying this type of unit in the future from China. I am sure there will be a lot of these on the market at even lover prices after the Chinese new year is past.

One of my machines got problems. It only hash at 5-10 MH/s. The fan only run for a while, after that, it is off and turn on after a while.

The temp2 always 85 degree C.

Is anyone got problems like me? Btminer please give me the solution to fix it.

When I finally got to the machine and logged in, the fans were blank and temp2 was at 70.
I haven't done any tweaking so I guess they were set to auto.
I now have a reverse ssh tunnel to the network so I can at least get to it remotely now.

Shut it off and let it cool down. The fan controller is not working properly on these machines.
Try move the temperature sensor around and see if there is any difference on fan speed.

Just a heads up for those of you who can connect to your miner but it never takes off. If you go to the network tab and under your lan hit connect it will reconnect. Then go back to the status\system info and see if the pings from openwrt.com are under .00 something. If not do it all again. I have to do this a few times every time I turn my rig off.

Hooked mine up and with the one blade not working at full capacity bc of the broken components it's averaging 95ghs at 1200 frequency. Temps at 7 and 10. It's in my basement which is probably under 45 degrees

Sucks this thing just couldn't be manufactured properly. It's a pretty cool machine

I have started configuring a wiki for these units, that hopefully can be used to compile all the great information that has been contributed here by all.  I hope we can put in a searchable and easily accessible format

I hope to have this wiki up, running and available for use by noon to one eastern time.  I will post the link tomorrow as soon as it is ready.  I would like to invite you all to consider becoming involved.  I believe this will be a great resource for us all and those machines that will surely be coming out of China after the Chinese New Year is over!

One of my fans is not attached to the plug and has been directly soldered onto the board. Is that normal?
