Bitmain is the only choice for Bitcoin Mining
Why do I say this?
I have purchased 267 Antminer S1's. Out of 267 S1's I have had 1 problem unit. One unit with a dead ASIC blade. That's it, 99.8% success rate. That's unbelievable. They just keep running, and running smoothly.
I have purchased 27 Antminer S2's . Out of those 27 S2's I have 1 blade that only half worked (From batch 1. The heatsink had a burr on it that cut into the board and shorted out half the blade). I also had 1 power supply that melted as the cables weren't connected tight at factory. While batch 1 had a good amount of extremely irritating issues, batch 2 was much better and batch 3 was nearly flawless (A few loose internal cables). I have been in contact with Bitmain concerning all the issues and they are indeed working to correct where they have come up short.
I have no doubt the S2 will soon be just as rock solid as the S1, and as you can see form above, the S1 is gold standard in ASIC hardware.

New price for AntMiner S1: 0.855btc each one, shipping cost included.
These really need a step change now bitmain - drop to 0.45 and they'll nearly be worth buying again. Unless Bitmain reveals his true shipping costs its hard to know exactly how low he could go and still make a decent return. No one should expect Bitmain to give these away! All s1 are tested but for how long only bitmain know. why you think they still keeping price like that? they mining to the max and once enough btc is done they flush miners on us. Not sure, I k now I have received some that have definitely collected dust, but I've also received the majority that were new and fresh. I think they do send out refurbished units. While I don't personally condone sending out refurbished units with new units, the bottom line is they are tested, they work and the have the same warranty. Without a doubt bitmain is mining on their machines, they'd be crazy not to. It almost seems though, that in order to process shipments as quickly as possible and to mitigate delays that might happen, they ship from their mining farm immediately so that a delay would only cost them mining time, and not the customer.

im with you, but units overcklocked are out of warranty. if for 5 units 2 are overclocked on delivery what those this means. my all units from 4.04.14 have date on blades 12.13 last year. im not saying that s1 are shit. im saying bitmain from time to time flushing people with old used units which was mining for him.

I'm not disputing the greatness of the S1 (or the S2) - just the ability to make any profit at 0.8ish coins. A drop of 0.01 every now and then is not going to make any difference to that fact. That's why I said we need a step change in price. Even at 0.45 BTC per unit and difficulty remaining the same as it is now (which it wont) and having free electricity (which most don't) - it would take 38 days of solid mining to break even... Taking difficulty and electricity into account, you are looking at 2 months. At 0.855 BTC, well, you do the maths.

Btw - that's an impressive amount of miners you have. I estimate between $250k to $300k for all that...

Sure, 1l1l11ll1l might have worked for the money, but I don't like when people boast how much money they have, considering most of us are dirt poor.

New price for AntMiner S1: 0.855btc each one, shipping cost included.
Guys its been at least 2 out of 10 of bitmain that were used (much dust), and also overclocked!
Are they serious? How can they have warranty when they send them o'cked?
Support also sucks, sorry.
acceptable price now is .45btc customs are 52gbp,psu is 16gbp sorry but after my order which was delivered 4.4.14 and all miners are batch from 2013,2 was overcloked and compressed aircan helped me clear dust as 2 s1 was heating up upto 60c i have no more interest in buying for silly price like .855 soon s1 will hit ebay for silly prices, already saw one for 265gbp delivered-auction style

Received my Antminer S1 about 30 mins ago.
Ordered 18 April 2014 - 10:29am
Notified of shipment by Bitmain 19 April 2014 - 7:39pm China 19/04/2014 17:34 Collection Scan China 19/04/2014 0:47 Order Processed: Ready for UPS Perth, Australia 22/04/2014 12:08 Delivered
Not bad, now I just have to wait for the power supply and breakout board to arrive from sidehack. Sometimes it really sucks living in Australia lol. Im going to see if I can use an old PC power supply to make sure its DOA, but wont run it for long, and might only run the main blade on its own.
Doesn't look like its been used previously, is free from dust. Board date is 16 December 2013 v1.5

it really irritates me whenever some1 mentions "oh no but what about the warranty" blah blah.. almost every1 overclocks the S1's, including Bitmain I imagine, and with the reset button, everything goes back to normal and overclocking is not traceable.
So, really, what it boils down to is Bitmain giving you the benefit of the doubt, which I think they will and do..
As such, overclocking should never be a concern and the 90 day warranty means NOTHING in this business. Heck, I ordered 21 miners from Bitmain and not once did I receive an invoice or a warranty with the miners, and I'm fine with that because Bitmain have more than earned my and everyone else's trust.

You dont get it.if someone in his own tos voids warranty because overclocking , and than he doing this himself regardless how units are good or bad dosn't look promising. i'm not complaint, s1 are most reliable units ever. Warranty maybe is not needed but this is not reason to go against own tos. Seems like any reason is good to not accept warranty and claim from buyer, even if this means miner have on clock already hours of work....for bitmain

Hello Bitmain,
Thanks for offer, you are very good and trust company with on stock miners (i have ANTminer), but:
2.2 BTC will never make ROI on miners with next difficulty - next extimate 2300000000 will make 1.27 BTC/month. So miner 2.2 BTC will never refund in mining :|
It's the best offer in the market for now, but the price is to big for the market reality.
Maybe You are developing something stronger that S1?
Regards.
You sure you wouldn't be making profit? Like after 4 months of mining wouldn't everything be paid off? Explain please.

According to Bitcoinwisdom, he would've ROI'd in late March, so let's say he jumped the gun a bit. I think he was expecting to ROI in a month or something, which almost no miner does.

Updates the wan to my router ip, set miner config to http://stratum.btcguild.com:3333casinocoin_1 123 hit apply everything updates go to miner status and nothing, I have tried multiple variations of pools etc and nothing seems to work. Rebooted the device, and nothing. Any ideas on what to do from here? Green light is flashing
