well not if you apply my space heater idea / contest.  I can do a very solid break down in math that shows this will roi if btc stays at 440 usd and your power is 18 cents or less per k-watt.

Or,
For next 2 days, changes difficulty +15% and reduction mining factor to 2.5 cents/Gh at 24 hour,
definitely game is over.

Just a headsup, the CX500 on sale at newegg for $50 + $20 rebate.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027
I have 1 on an oc'd ant and it works great. If you can find a way to turn in multiple rebates, then you can get a bunch of these at $30 each. Would only cost $150 to power 1TH/s.

You know cheapest option is dell 750 2850 poweredge. You can run 2 s1 not oc on this or overclocked and it will cost you no more than 12gbp

You can do that with 3 of these for slightly more, but you can power 6 ants and no mail in rebates

Whats the point buying piece of pcb which cost more than psu?
I dont get it, check this:

Cables costs: 2gbp
psu cost is :12gbp

You can plug up to 2 units on one PSU by them cables.

All my PSU have mods to slow the fan. As original one are sooo loud.

No issues what so ever.

I should have mentioned that the deal I posted is good for people going the normal PSU route. Of course server psu's can be cheaper. I have been researching them, but there seems to be too many variables to work out, or I'm overcomplicating things. Most every full guide I see shows using a 750w psu. I need my ants running at max gh/s no matter the extra cost of power because my power is cheap. And the 750 won't allow me to run 2 fully oc'd.

I'm most interested in 1l1l11ll1l's setup. I was going to convert all my psu's to server ones for my S1 ants, but in the end it may be too costly and time consuming after buying server psu's plus all the extra bits you need, it adds up. My current train of thought is to just upgrade all my S1's to S2's in a few months and sell all the S1's. Since the S2's come with a decent psu and is easy to upgrade using a normal computer psu, then I don't even need to worry about server psu's at all.

We have been running 6 ants OCed to 400 each with 2 per PSU, pulls 880w from the wall @ 120 and has been solid since January. Plus if the PSU dies its a ~$15 tops replacement.

You can use IBM 2000w which is cheap again and very easy to use. Its server again psu but than u can run 4 s1 on one psu.

I can confirm as many as 6 running on the IBM DPS-2000BB.  All of mine are OC'd to 393 and have been running this way for nearly a month.  The supply has an input rating of 13.5A and I've measured the current draw at the breaker to be 10A.  So 6 OC'd ants are a good number for this supply.

Here's all the info you need to get started with one,

Check out the Gigampz breakout board (http://www.gigampz.com) for the HP DPS-800GBA server supply.  It's the same supply that is compatible with the ASICMiner back plane you can get them for cheap on ebay and you don't have to do a bunch of soldering or anything crazy to get going with them.  Each supply can easily power two overclocked AntMiner S1's.  You power supply costs per Ant will be about $30 total.
