Nothing set in stone but you need a hdd large enough for the blockchain + debug.log, memory probably at least 128mb + swap (from the sounds of camosoul), single core cpu is fine.

today i got loan from a bank, simple math told me that masternode can almost pay it self monthly

53€ is my monthly rate and

30 DRK per month @ this price is  46.41 € per month

plus im mining almost 1 drk per day

does this make any sense??

i just learned how to setup masternode, everything is set just waiting for 1000 drk to arrive to wallet

EDIT: and imagine drk goes to 10€ ... man i would be on horse

They have wrong, or highly outdated information about DRK.  Currently, all known vulnerabilities have been delt with, the last of them being very minor.  DarkSend, at the moment, is considered "finished" until someone discovers another issue, which will then be dealt with. 

RE: liquidity, there is no issue, darksend is used before coins are needed to be spent.  Once mixed, the coins are ready for immediate use when needed.

Finally, DarkSend and all of Darkcoin is open sourced, but it isn't easy to secure the network with investors and committed masternode owners.  Each masternode is worth almost $2000.  The price means that nobody at this point can get ahold of a majority of the masternodes, the price pressure would be so great, the funds required would exponentially increase with no limit.  And even if someone had control of 50 or even 75% of the network, with the number of rounds you can mix your coin, it would still be virtually impossible for any massive masternode hoarder to decipher which coins belong to whom.  At over 90%, there is a chance a malicious masternode hoarder could figure out where the coins came from, but it's around 1% chance tops.  Then you have to think about the chances of following the coin you want to follow, that is, coin from a party you're trying to spy on.  With only 1% chance, and having to buy so many coins that you drove the price up to perhaps trillions of dollars, it would be a very crappy return on your investment if you were NSA.  There are much easier ways to catch a thief than that!

So my advice is, regarding this development team, is to trust what they say, 'cause they haven't BS'd anything yet.  I think there are other good development teams, and if I had funds, I'd be backing some of them, so I'm not saying ours is the only honest development team, but they are one of the honest development teams that are doing amazing work.

lol, not on my shift, that wall is an iceberg, there's at least 2/3 more of it invisible under the water, ie that I'll add if it starts to show any serious signs of melt at all.

There is a random fee of .001 DRK that you have a 1 in 40 chance of getting hit with (this is to deter ddos/by pulling out of mixes) which is very minimal, plus the fee when you send, which goes by how many bytes you're using.  All in all, it's VERY cheap.

Also, I forgot to mention, but there will actually be some more security implementations coming up.  Most major being ip obfuscation.  I forgot what the list entails but it's also to prepare for instant transactions and other infrastructures.  So, Darksend is working perfectly, but there are more improvements for security of the network against disruption that are planned.

Guys don't get distracted by the competition, there is nothing wrong with that. We don't worry about the things we can't control, people are free to come up with their own solutions and they will put out biased articles, etc.

We must make sure we do the things we can control right. Produce research material, whitepapers and security bulletins and continue to improve on the technology. We must support our developers to continue to take risks and produce quality features and better more user friendly tech no matter how many updates are required.

Produce our own articles that explain DRK correctly, continue to promote adoption of our coin, be more professional, creative and perseverant than others and we will win.

Yep, you gotta start out with them, but better than SEPA. I can buy 300e a day after being with them a few months, for instance and instantly withdraw.

Oh it sucks but he wants it faster than SEPA and there are fees there anyway. This way after a while he'll have the virwox backup option if he needs it. Totally not good long-term. I try to send money ahead if I feel any market movement but sometimes you miss the boat.
