The Dash network has voted to fund the sponsorship of the Irish Pubs Global Awards by Festy.

Festy is a company creating contactless wristbands which allow Dash to be used for payments seamlessly, targeted specifically towards outdoor festivals but applicable at a wide variety of venues. Does anyone think that it is a great time to buy dash or should I wait?

The price is pretty high at the moment.. I think Bitcoin cash or Litecoin has a bit more of a success rate in the long term as well

Coins with no long-term development roadmap, no self-funding, no governance and no real scaling solution have "a bit more of a success rate in the long term" than a coin that has all of that, including some 50 developers on payroll and $2.5 million monthly budget?  Hmm, if you think so.... but it might be helpful if you'd explain why you think that?

LOL. Looking forward to the response.

i dont think he will answer, he's just farming rank point with pointless post.

whats the update

Here's the update.

-InstantSend is still disabled despite the Aug announcement of an "imminent" fix that was "already QA'd" (note use of past tense)

-Multisig was disabled long ago but that extremely pertinent fact was kept hidden, resulting in a Budget Proposal being screwed up (LMAO yet another ATM fiasco Tongue) and causing cascading failures with other Proposals

-the embarrassing fact that new Dash cannot be put into multisig makes clear the point that Dash's supposed "distributed governance by blockchain" is mere theater (kind of hard to distribute governance when you can't even put funds into multisig LMFAO)

-PrivateSend does not have a $100k bounty for being broken; all the DashHoles on here saying otherwise need to STFU & apologize  Grin

-IPv6 is still broken

-Masternodes are still not blinded and thus remain free to act in malicious collusion, thereby precluding zero confirmation tx for fear of double spends

-Evan and his Secret Sporkers  (IE wife and lawyer) are in complete control of the network thanks to their "spork" backdoor to all Masternodes

-Dash price is hitting >month lows, despite the MaxCoin and DashCon hype cycle peaking  Undecided

-still no Dash warrant canary, probably because to keep his ginger ass out of prison Evan gave the FBI and DEA 100s of instamined Masternodes

Here's the update.

-

man...your awesome!  really.  we can all count on you and trollero clowns to keep us up to date.  I think you should be up for a couple of awards...the Nobel Peace price for your tireless work to try and save humanity from your perceived DASH issues as it continues to develop. And the second award for comedian of the year.  Bravo.

LOL....can't wait till 12.2 is out of test net for ya.  Wink

Haha I love bumping Iceys posts back to the end of the previous page. He so painstakingly tries to get top post.

Sorry Icey, couldn't resist. What was it you were saying? Could you delete and repost please? Nevermind, I'm sure you were about to anyway.

Quick work getting your post back to front page, shame you lost top spot though. Only took you mere minutes! or seconds even. Some might worry you are a little obsessed with this thread.

However thats 'quite' a nice list of some technical challenges facing Dash. I think those issues are fairly well known though. You don't seem to realise the genius of the sporks though, far from what you describe they are one of Dash best innovations. Why do you think the InstantSend problem was contained so easily? Why do you think Dash hard forks tend to be implemented so free of hassle and contention? Perhaps you need to do a bit more research.

I don't understand why you don't ban him. If he was at least posting thought out things about Dash issues according to him than I could understand. But he is literally reposting the same post over and over again. He is just a spammer. Why are you allowing him to spam the thread ?

This ANN is not moderated and nobody in here has the authority to place bans on users, except for the official Bitcointalkforum moderator.
All we users can do to people like Icey is either put them on ignore or reply to them in such a way it does not disrupt the flow of this forum too much.

By constantly deleting and reposting his own trolling posts Icey thinks he found a way to outsmart us all, but something tells me that could backfire on him real hard one of these days.

Icebreaker is the biggest loser I have yet seen on bitcointalk. I could never imagine anyone would beat profitgenerator to it, but as you see ... sometimes the universe can surprise you.

I find it rather amusing how Icey keeps deleting his post to post it at the top of the next page.  We have to give him points for creativity.  Not many points though because he clearly lacks the creativity to create a new post each time  Cheesy

I think reposting the same post over and over again is against the rules of Bitcointalk. I already contacted the moderator 4 times about it but I still had no success. Maybe if more people complain the moderator will take the complaints serious and do something about him.

You are assuming the BCT mods to more than literally fuck all.

that is an error, And one of the reasons the relevance of BCT is fading fast.

Atomic Swaps and a Multi-Blockchain World

In the 1980’s and early 90’s, most businesses had a LAN, or “Local Area Network.” This technology allowed a company to connect computers in a network, usually in a very limited, local area. Some larger companies might have employed a WAN (Wide Area Network), which covered a bigger area, but was still mostly confined to a single corporation’s computers. A challenge for IT professionals in that era was how to safely interact their LAN’s with other company’s LAN’s. Many tech articles were written and many attempts were made with limited success. Then the Internet became ubiquitous and the problem was solved. The idea of disparate, incompatible networks is now unthinkable.
