Hopefully the btcchina news on LTC will help (btcchina started trading on LTC). The price of BTC/LTC jumped from .022 to .026

How accurate is this info on your site? I signed up a few days ago and kind of forgot about it..
Your website claims:
Bitcoins per MH/s: 0.005143 for my stats
Wafflepool itself claims quite a bit higher than that.. Who has the right math here?
http://wafflepool.com/statsDate BTC Earned Avg Hashrate BTC / 1MH Mar 04, 2014 (partial) 144.88776198 24.87 GH/s 0.00594368 Ok.. So that'd still have wafflepool over-reporting by 15%. The #s do not add up, end of story. The sporadic payment times make it almost impossible for me to calculate this myself - I'm terrible at math. Edit: To clarify, I'm not accusing PW of "skimming off the top" or anything like that. Actually, I could care less if he is 'cause he probably deserves it. I just want a stats page I can use to semi-accurately predict my earnings because - as previously declared - I suck at math lol

Waffle pool stats are bullshit Make your own then, like me. Nothing fancy just an excel table. After every payout I write the data in my table. It calculates the BTC/MH/day value for my real hash rate and draws a nice graph too.

So what happens when a shift does not find a block? Is all that work not paid as there is nothing to pay it with? See the personalized stats example below. Recent Shifts ID Ended Shares (yours / total) Blocks Found 9538 OPEN 6656 / 61465088 0 9537 2014-03-05 00:45:01 13824 / 151146495 1 9536 2014-03-05 00:38:38 13824 / 150294528 0 9535 2014-03-05 00:32:13 11776 / 151369727 1 9534 2014-03-05 00:25:47 6656 / 151110656 0 9533 2014-03-05 00:19:17 10240 / 150097920 0 9532 2014-03-05 00:12:47 12288 / 151072256 0 9531 2014-03-05 00:06:22 10240 / 152461821 2 9530 2014-03-04 23:59:52 7680 / 150917119 1 9529 2014-03-04 23:53:22 11776 / 152552446 2
Also I don't think the personalized stats recent shifts blocks found correlate with the personalized stats earnings log or the main stats recently found blocks.

Hello, I have made a terrible mistake by setting the username as incomplete bitcoin address. I have been mining 8 hours with wrong address. The wrong address had 2 letters missing from the end. Now I have fixed this error but what happens to the bitcoins I have already mined? Wafflepool is not responding to my email, so maybe they can anwer here He said he would be out of town until Thursday, so I'm guessing replies will be a touch delayed. Does the stats page pull data for the incorrect address you used? no stats, only says "Invalid BTC Address!", but when i was mining everything worked good so the coins must be somewhere out there. Per the front page: "Username: Your Bitcoin Address [invalid mining addresses are considered a donation to the pool]" The pool thanks you for your donation I'm sure

Also I don't think the personalized stats recent shifts blocks found correlate with the personalized stats earnings log or the main stats recently found blocks. WafflePool uses PPLNS where N represents many shifts. There is no significance if 0 blocks are found during a shift. Not sure what you mean about the lack of correlation - my recent blocks found always show up in the pool stats. As far as 'recent shifts', you have to judge over the entire set of displayed shifts - the portion of hashing power you contribute is the portion you will get paid of any discovered blocks.

The FAQ says the following. How do PPLNS (Pay Per Last N Shares) rewards work?
Everyone contributes shares towards a block solution. When a block is found, we pay out the last N shares that were submitted. The number of shares (N) will be getting tweaked as the pool grows to try to average a shift every 10min. So it sounds like N is the total number shares in the current shift. I would also take that as the shifts with no blocks have no pay. The personalized stats recent shifts blocks do correlate with the main stats recently found blocks. I can't correlate the personalized stats earnings log.

Copy and paste is your friend. Your profits went to expenses for running the pool since you decided to give an invalid address.

The personalized stats recent shifts blocks do correlate with the main stats recently found blocks. I can't correlate the personalized stats earnings log.
You are miss-reading that. N is equivalent to 10 shifts (or at least it was when I talked to PoolWaffle about this a long while ago - should still be). Furthermore, when a share is found, it pays based on the LAST N shares... future shares are not relevant, so even if N was equal to the number of shares in a shift, a shift with 0 blocks would still earn you something when a block is found during the next shift (because the last N shares would include some shares from the previous shift). The personal stats earnings log tracks when coins are converted to BTC - there is no equivalent data on the stats page, only the chart and coin totals.

Hi All Is there any reason why payouts are so low for the last few days? Hashrate is same for me, rejects are very low (sub 1%) but payouts went down from 0.5 - 0.7 to 0.4 - 0.5 and for the last two days I had 0.029 and 0.015 Mining on eu.waffle with diff 512 Not sure if it's temporary or I should be looking for a different pool.

We have a ton of Aurora coin stashed that represents a good portion of our mining effort. AUR has fallen a been fairly volatile as well, which explains some of the dips.
Once AUR confirms (can take over a day, because blocks are coming in very slowly since AUR has not yet implemented KGW or fast diff variation), we'll likely see a larger then normal payout.
Speculating this strongly on AUR was probably a mistake, however...
@PoolWaffle: you should probably take confirmation time vs market stability into account in the future, before spending so much of our mining time on something like Aurora when it was bubbling.

I've been mining with Coinshift since they began. Profit yesterday for me was 0.01186 BTC/MH/Day = 171% LTC profitability.
