Finally a good week in the pool. First week/round that i made actually good results and im just two points away from the weekly best.
Too bad that Brentford didnt win ,i would have guessed all right. I think that this 3 matches that are left are really hard to guess except maybe Tottenham

The most difficult for me is Aston Villa vs West Ham because West Ham is with 0 points so far so no matter they have the bigger odd I don't think they will make 4 consecutive lost games in the league.I think the most likely result is a draw here as even Aston Villa has just 3 points that they got against the weak Everton team of this season.Despite they being favorite from the bookies I think they will not be able to win in the game that starts just about now but I will watch F1 more than any Premier League game.

Yeah, Aston Villa vs West Ham is a very tricky match to predict, and the same goes for Wolves vs Newcastle, It seems relatively easier to pick Newcastle at least for me my decision was because of how well they played against Man City.

I initially had a 1-1 Draw for Aston Villa vs West Ham, but because Aston Villa are playing at home, while Westham are still yet to score a single goal in the campaign, so I changed my prediction to an Aston Villa 1-Nil victory.

Villa so frustrating and I hope Gerrard can see they're just relying on Coutinho so much he's almost become a crutch they really need to throw off.

On Hammers, came into the game being the only league team to not score in England this season (6 goals in Europa so far though haha), man they looked like ghosts in first half. Needed a huge deflection to finally open account.

Antonio only came on for the final third, and I've been wondering if he's been so bad the past 3 games he got benched? Didn't watch so have no idea if was warranted. Did look as if he couldn't change the game even after coming on while Coutinho went off injured until much later on. This was the team that beat Liverpool on the Bitcoin ATH day...

If there is a team I can bet on to always have a great start is Arsenal but unfortunately, when the going gets tough, these aren't reliable enough to keep on fighting for those 3 points! Otherwise for now potential champions remain to be Manchester city and Liverpool FC.

Wtf is happening with Manchester City?

City is proving to be among those teams with bad starts this season, but nevertheless, I hope they can improve and start getting those clean sheets to grow their confidence back.

I thought the same for Newcastle,judging from the great performances so far from them and from the poor performances of Wolves I did put them as winners in the predictor.Also I never thought a West Ham win would be possible but they did it finally and got out of the last place in the standings,they even had a very good odd to bet on them at 4 which I think very very few people did.

I got 0 points from today games and if Tottenham wins I will get a consolation point for the today games.Worst week so far for me falling back 9 positions but the good thing is that after tomorrow starts the next round.

I picked 3-0 Tottenham win in the pool however I'm really afraid of this game now.    Because the first half wasn't very good for Tottenham. They somehow finished it 1-0 ahead thanks to Kane but Nottingham were really effective also. They were nearly scoring the equalizer in the last minutes of the half but Morgan Gibbs-White missed an absolute goal chance. If Son was able to benefit from the chance he found maybe things would be easier for Tottenham now.

The same thing happened to Tottenham against Wolves last week. But they improved their performance a lot in the other half. Hope to see this again.

If only Nottingham held on to that 0-1 scoreline it would've been a nice recovery for me to end the round but still happy with how it ended. I had a bad start going down almost 10 spots at the start of the round and then going back up a few spots thanks to that draw on the Newcastle game.

The Hammers for me were always going to fight to bag maximum points here after a terrible start of the league, and looking at their fixtures, had they not won today...it would mean losing over 5 games in a roll as I know they won't be getting any point against Spurs for game week 5 . Otherwise, with today's win, the script might have changed with a possibility of salvaging a point or so in their next game, don't take my word for it

Worst week  well, I thought this was my best week since I joined the competition after a marathon of bad weeks, and finally got the break I longed for and hoping to remain in the top half of the table going forward, in spite knowing the competition from this pool is no Joke!

I see now the reason despite getting an exact score on Tottenham didn't help me much and I am still left in the 27th place.It is the first time I see that many people that made those high scores in a single round,I never saw it before in the last two seasons that I have played here,so this truly shows that this time we are a lot of people and quite some of us are doing fine with great results already,I am still happy though that despite being 27th I am just 7 points away from the 1st place and tomorrow we start a new round.

Arsenal had an easy start schedule, but they are playing good football, and I would like to see them at CL spots, at least

City will probably make an easy title catch this season, but there will be a great fight for CL spots

expected Newcastle to win this round, and they can generally join CL fight, IMO, seeing what Chelsea and United are capable of

I bet on Wolves win, 2-1, and wrong too. And yet, 19 people from our pool made a perfect pick, earning 3 points with that, and 3 others predicted 0-0, which was close. Good job, guys!

Good round to everyone, this has been a tighter season than before I believe mainly due to the fact that there are so many, and more experienced players.

10 players in 2nd place! High scoring round too but sorry for Liverpool people who picked 4/5 0 and still got same as us all lol. Nice job LTU_btc.

It was a good week for me in the pool. I have gained five positions in the standings and being only five points behind the leader makes me feel good. If Tottenham were able to win 3-0 then things would have been nicer but Kane's missing that penalty blocked the way for me.  Still having only two wrong predictions is good for the week I think. Even they wouldn't be wrong if Aston Villa scored a goal and Wolves won by 2-1.

This is only the beginning of the season of course. We have a long way to go so everything can change very often in the coming weeks.

Yeah, it was great week for me too all round but it really could have been better because I got points in all of the first 7 fixtures and I got zero point in two of the last three matches, but an exact point between Nottingham Forest and Tottenham was able savage the round better for me, I was able to go quite a number of place in the leaderboard as well.

Bloody Newcastle. I swear they look great against City, yet still manage to lose, and then look lost. Although, in their defense they were missing a lot of their first team players this time around. On the other hand, Liverpool have finally turned up to a game of football this season, the great news is some of our injured players are starting to come back or are close to coming back. I believe Matip is now training with the squad, so shouldn't be too long where we have a first team back four. Not sure how far Konate is off at the moment.

I'm waiting for Jota to come back the most though, we need his threat despite the 9-0 win. Jota is just one of those players who can play subpar, but can get you that decisive goal. I'm feeling optimistic looking at Cities performances, despite winning them they've looked questionable at times. Obviously, no more questionable than Liverpool have, however I take a little confidence that it's obvious why we've had problems with the amount of players we've had out.

In terms of the leader boards, I'm definitely performing how I'd expect, rather poorly. I'm hoping once I suss out team forms, and where teams are with their new signings I start to pick more consistently.

Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Bournemouth, and Fulham are all easy games for you, so I'm not surprised. I'm not an Arsenal fan, but the Gunners are in great form right now, winning games and playing beautiful football. There are no small clubs in the EPL; every game is a battle.


I'm not impressed with Newcastle's transfer; they're not ready to be considered a big team; one expected a team overhaul when the new owner took over, but nothing significant has happened yet. Their goal for this season is to survive

The teams have been performing quite strangely at the beginning of the season. I lost several bets. Most of my predictions are not completely accurate. It was unexpected that Manchester City would share points with the likes of Newcastle. Liverpool has disappointed me in several matches. And scoring 9 goals against Bournemouth, it was even more unexpected. West Ham's performances were good last season, but have won just one match this season. No team's performance is stable. Making predictions in such a situation is very risky
