I agree with that 100%! that's one of my basis to know if that ICO is really profitable and worth the effort. So if they can't show anything like that, I mean the whitepaper so you are only wasting your time and effort with that ICO.

Whitepaper is a necessary document to have. All ICO need to have the whitepaper.
But it is not a guarantee!
Even if the ICO has the whitepaper, it can be a scam project.  As you can read / hear everywhere be wise and don't invest into projects without researches, enough information.

Having a whitepaper is not a guarantee that an ICO is genuine. There are lots of copycat whitepapers and not difficult to spot for the learned. It helps to have a focus-based whitepaper with genuine intention behind it to fulfill the tasks of the project before the ICO.

Whitepapers for ICO could be publicly assessed or privately obtained upon request. It is a red-flag to not have whitepaper at all before ICO.

Not release without witepaper. Project information in the witepaper. So project information in the witepaper. So learn the project information. Then easy to choose the best project ICO. Most of the people check the more projects and invest. Project is good then get more profit. People will be get more ideas and more information.

Ico without White paper is like an company without a product,how can you trust a seller that sells nothing?damn this is ridiculous on a project that can still gain investors,and i think this is a trap because no one will invest in something like this unless the team itself is the investors to attract others to victimize.stop patronizing this kind of behavior here because scams are all over the community

The function of whitepapers such as letters to attract attention to investors in introducing ico products. I think whitepaper is very important as a distributor between companies with investors, in this case of course we need to know a product offered from ico company in terms of vision mission and history team that build the ico. If there is no whitepaper, it may be very difficult for investors to trust their ico products but now whitepaper is an important requirement to avoid ico scam project.

ICO without WhitePaper it is very strange and I think that it is scam in 95% of cases. And 5% it is the cases when ICO have strong reason to go live without Whitepaper.

I think that without white paper it is already quite a fraudulent project, but if you look at the other side, many projects that have a white paper also turn out to be fraud.

If the ICO don't have whitepaper, I think that is not a trusted ICO, seems all ICO should have this cause whitepaper is the one which must check first when investing in some ICO.

ICO without white paper is not possible. otherwise, it is a scum, and this project can not be trusted. white paper contains all the necessary information about the project: the team, the goal, the problems posed in this area and their effective solutions, as well as many other important details.

For me an ICO without a whitepaper is a scam because when you are a developer of that ICO project before you are going to promote your project for ICO and to attract investor you should present a whitepaper because thay is very important especially to the investor if the project they will going to invest is really worth investing for..

If an ico does not have a whitepaper, i would not trust the ico.
Every good project has a whitepaper. If an ico does not have that, that does not exactly mean their respectability.
I would stay away from such an ico. That's my advice.

I do not think it is okay for anyone to participate in an ico without a whitepaper because this whitepaper is an important part of the project as it give the idea of the project and without it, how do investors get convinced that the project is a good one or even have the knowledge of what they are going to promote.

It is really weird if there is an ICO project without a whiterpaper. For me it is scam because in a project whitepaper is really important. For investor and bounty hunters, the first thing they checked beforw investing and joining ico is the whitepaper. So if bo whitepaper I think it is scam.
