For people using the 2% fee miner with reference 290 cards (elpida memory in my case), here is my setup getting ~3.7MH per card with low rejects:

I could not get it to use my config file, how did you get it to work?

I'm using CGWatcher so that might have something to do with it.  I took all of the DLL files out of the DLL folder and put them in the folder with the sgminer.exe (or else it will give errors).  My sgminer.conf is also in the same folder as the .exe.  Don't use the useless batch file it came with.

So the trick is running the algos on separate kernels: needs changes to the c sources, then.
From a first look, I see no optimizations to the algos code.

I suppose this is the reverse engineered 2%fee-miner?

Is the 2% removed?

I don't think so, it's just che opencl code for the gpu.

    You are getting
SCAMMED

  • The kernel is word for word the same as sph-sgminer.
  • 40% more FREE MONEY (for just a teeny bit of malware) didn't sound suspicious?
  • 2% mining at 10000x your normal worksize is not 2%.
  • Hash rate goes up but the Work Utility (which is what pools actually pay you for) goes down. Why would that be? Think about it.
  • He had a source to compile. Says he is working on releasing the source but is just stalling to milk you suckers for as long as possible.
mmmmmmmmmm he's yankin your withered teets hard till the btc run dry. Left right left is how you prefer it? Make the moo noise, little heffers.

  • This guy straight up stole other people's work and hijacks your rigs juuuuust a weeee bit. He already proved he doesn't give a flying &^% about other people... Especially YOU.

40% increased botnet power. Congrats, you all are the absolute dumbest fvcks on this forum and that aint an easy task to achieve. But you did it. Gobbled that hijacker right on up. Probably on the same computer you keep your wallets, too. Oh Great News! Check your email spam folder. Looks like you just won the Ethiopian National lottery and they need your bank account info to send the check.

Idiots.

What other surprises might be lurking in this bit o hijackin release? Spoiler: You deserve what happens next.

[/list]

**Edit: After rigorous testing I cannot find anything malicious in this and quite frankly the dev is an infringer but also a friggin genius.

Thanks for the warning/rant, it was fun to read. I didn't get the shit to work on my 64bit Ubuntu/PiMP-rig anyway.

Anyone running SGMiner on R7 265s? I am just curious as to what kind of hashrate you are getting and what your settings might be?

yes and it is more efficient at the moment Sad.

60 watt Nvidia GTX 750ti beats out an AMD HD7970/280X and hash at 2.8 mh/s on X11...lol

780ti is powerful, but imagine if it had the Maxwell core technology. That can be like 1.5~2.5 times the hash power on that.

so i currently have a 6970 and a 7970 in my system.
how do i command line parameters for these with sgminer for x11?

currently, i use the below in cgminer which gets me 500/700, respectively.
cgminer --scrypt -v 1 -I 19,13 -g 2 -Q 9 -s 60 -E 120 -w 256,256 --lookup-gap 2,2 --shaders 1536,2048 --thread-concurrency 8000,8192

yeah, high end maxwell are coming in q3-q4, but only with 28nm, for 20nm maxwell 2015 is needed

try going to your cmd line and type in GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 and hit enter and then try to start sgminer back up. you can also put GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 in your .bat file if you want to do it on start
