CYPER, you are a fascinating combination of phenomenally-high maintenance and self-centeredness. There's a heaping spoonful of entitlement mixed in, too. It really boggles my mind to read what you consider to be appropriate comments.

+1

I'm sick of reading posts by that asshole. Go and fuck off back into whatever hole you came from Cyper.

Your mother should be really proud of you. Retards are usually quite in nature, but you are quite outspoken.

A number of people have endeavoured to satisfy your incessant requests for information masked as denigrations of the pool and pool operator. You couldn't have tried harder to criticise the existing payment and operational structures of the pool, even going as far to infer that pool users were somehow captive to what you consider to be an excessive fee. Not only has your conduct been rude, selfish, arrogant and dismissive of any attempts to respond to your supposed concerns or present alternative points of view, you've been deliberately resistant and wilfully obtuse as it's clear that your recent posts have only been about you, what you think is important and what you think other people in the pool and the pool operator should do.

You either couldn't or deliberately refused to 'take the hint', so with the subtleties of language being wasted on you with your repeated posts continuing to infer that only you were right while everyone else was wrong, I opted for the blunt instrument and said what many others have been thinking - you need to fuck off with your combative attitude, a pool by its very nature is collective and if you don't like it you can take your hashing and disappear.

The only retardation on display is your own social retardation, how many pages must readers listen you your acute selfishness and barely-concealed aggression toward the pool, the pool users and the pool operator before an equal and opposite reaction is triggered?

You've passed that point, it's now time for you to be quite quiet.

It is so nice to be a member of a forum, where one can express his opinion without fear of being silenced, so fuck you too and everyone else who decided that using insults towards me will somehow magically make me disappear from this thread.

Let's test the selective reading of the admin again: don't you think that your users might actually enjoy seeing what the luck was for the past 1 week or 10 days or 1 month?

From the numbers I've seen floating around, and since not one pool operator would indugle us in the money they make I can only assume they are making from the low end $10000 to the high end to $40000 / monhtly. Still beats most 9-5 jobs out there....and if operator was losing money he wouldn't be around here anymore. Average it out at $20kmonth and the operator is hauling in $240000. Most more then most people I know. A lot more. They are living quite comfortably it seems. Don't let 'em fool ya!

I do enjoy it, cause it's already there. The pool luck graph is working and goes back two months. It is enough to let you know what happened. Between that and the 24 hour earnings total you can get an understanding of your position on earnings. If something greater is needed, wait for the weekly update from organofcorti's Neighbourhood Pool Watch http://organofcorti.blogspot.com He's got all kinds of reports and CDF stats going back over a year.

There are only luck values for each closed shift, which makes it very difficult to calculate luck for a specific period of time.
I spoke with organofcorti and he also confirmed this and I quote:

I think though that you're missing the fact that my personal gripe with BTCGuild is actually the same as yours - a non standard data presentation means I have no easy way to know for sure that the "luck" jibes with those from other pools.

Making a new thread with that 'self moderation' feature that was added about a year ago is looking better and better.  Even ignore doesn't stop people from quoting the troll.

I would imagine that if I mined in BTCGuild for the past 2 months and paid 2.5BTC in fees instead of somewhere else I wouldn't be labelled a troll for asking valid questions.
Pool admins tend to be very well mannered and patient with existing clients Smiley

I am yet to hear a valid reason for why pool luck cannot be verified + pool does not provide luck statistics for a user selectable length of time even if it is in a form of rough data, that can be easily copied into a spreadsheet. It doesn't even have to be extra work for the server. It is already there in the luck graph. A simple table with the values will suffice.

Then, can you not just scrape the page source?

I think that the benevolent and clearly illustrious cyper should create a pool. Average pool luck will be 7000%. Pool fees will be -10%. Reports will be limitless thanks to a data warehouse, provided free of charge of course.

100% support from me cyper. But while you're beavering away on this, just STFU and GTHO. Idiot.

Would it be too much trouble to add a nmc table to the payout & withdrawals section? just askin'.

Thank you kind sir. That is actually a worthy post.
Do you have any idea how to insert specific parts of this code into excel into appropriate columns?
I assume that is in some specific format - csv, json?

I have tried other pools, but I keep coming back to BtcGuild because of rock solid stability, a higher hashrate at the pool, and more consistent, higher payouts.

Keep up the good work and don't let the squeaky wheels bring you down, eleuthria!  Smiley

No, I wish to stand outside the restaurant saying that the restaurant and the food are good in general, but can be improved.
What is so bad with adding luck per user selectable length of time to the already good selection of statistics?
How is that against the interest of pool users?
Wouldn't you like it if you could see what the luck was for the past 7 days for example?
