Yep.  It's keeping me awake at 2 AM right now, even though I know I'm powerless to do anything about it.

EDIT:  And as usual, as soon as somebody mentions the long round, a mysterious block appears!

I have to say I love BTC Guild myself.  It was the first pool I mined with when I started 2 months ago and I kept coming back to it.  The only other pool I personally would consider mining at, and I did for awhile, would be Eligius.  I use eclipse as failsafe only because I can set my workers for PPS.  I'd like to thank eleuthria for running such a great pool and now that I'm done testing other pools, I'm here for the long haul.  I'd mine at scrypt guild too, but right now my GPUs are pointed to MAX as I find I'm making more there than mining DOGE.

I found one last year with my bfl single right after I got it. Difficulty was 63mil and I had only submitted about 8mil shares. It's mined a lil over 20btc in it's life so it's about even.

But now I have 4 antminers and only have about 190mil shares on this new account. I honestly don't think they will be able to mine 25btc with just these 4 Sad but if they get over 15 I won't feel so bad.

Awesome Smiley.  I've been experiencing the joy of block solving recently on ScryptGuild.  I have my old gaming rig running at ~1 MH/s.  We've been sticking to easier coins until the pool goes fully public.

If anybody is wanting to mine ScryptCoins, join #scryptguild on Freenode IRC.  The scrypt pool has been progressing much faster than originally planned.  This evening the system was updated to be able to add additional coins on the fly with no pool restarts.  You point at a single URL and can change what coins you mine via the website without losing a single hash (no disconnects/interruptions, it just works).  Automatic coin switching is also being worked on.  Currently it's manually controlled by me if you're set to Automatic, but by tonight it will have the first version of automatic profit-based switching.

This sounds pretty sweet.  I've got a good amount of scrypt hashpower that I'd love to point your way once it's public.

M

I mine at Kano's Pool because it pays the best and is completely transparent!  Come join me!

Might be going public beta with it in a day or two.  Profit switching has been running well all night, we're at the point where the pool needs more speed in order to add more coins and profit switch to harder ones.

its getting hot in here

so I will take off all my clothes

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Some scripts used for logging speeds are being updated.  Pool speed/dashboard speeds may be incorrect for a few minutes.

UPDATE #1:  Just pruned out more than 75% of the data in the worker graphs section and worker speed estimation tables, and sped up those queries by more than 10x.
UPDATE #2:  Charts have been forced to do a full reset, expect them to start regenerating over the next 2-6 hours.
UPDATE #3:  Rankings speeds now reflect the previous PPLNS shift average speed for each user.  PPS users do not register on the Rankings.

Overall:  Drastic improvements to what have always been the slowest scripts on the site.  A few quirks may appear over the first hour or two while the tables rebuild with fresh data.

Does all this affect the 24hr earning stat?  Mine jumped from .2 to .36 BTC/day.  That's too big even considering the luck.

Put something in my tip jar if I made your day. Smiley

Yes, there's a few quirks to 24-hour earning stats for PPS users.  It should correct itself in about 18 hours once the changes have been in effect for 24 hours.  However, 0.2 to 0.36 isn't too big considering luck if you go from a bad day to a good day.
