The third and the final T20 match is scheduled for today. India are the favourite for this match but after seeing the last performance of the WI team I think today's match will be very close. WI will try their level best to win the last match of this tour. Virat Kohli has been rested I am not sure why he is being rested for the third match. He did score more than 50 runs in the last match and this match could have helped him to regain his form.

Win-Lose doesn't much atm but they won't complain if they end series with the clean sweep.

They are more interested in trying new combination and its good to see they gave Pant-Kohli much needed rest before the SL series and included Ruturaj Gaikwad and Avesh Khan (Debut).

India is rocking thanks to Surya Kumar and Shreyas Iyer. They both were very agressive in the death overs. I think Westindies side forgot to shout for a plum LBW.

Shephard was the bowler and if I am correct Yadav was facing him. The ball hit the right leg pad for me it was a LBW but I may be wrong. This was in the 17th over and I think he was out.

West Indies has already lost two wickets in 3 overs and scored 32 runs. The run rate is ok in my opinion but the problem is they are losing wickets which they cannot at the moment.
By the looks of it, I think India might win this match. Westindies need more than 9 runs per over and I do not believe that they are going to be able to do it.

Yadav and Iyer's superb batting skills helped India to a huge target of 185 runs. This is a good enough target to win against this team of West Indies. My guess is that India will easily win today. They will win by at least 20 runs.
West Indies scored 34 runs in 3.3 overs, but they lost two wickets. They managed to collect good enough runs but lost two important wickets.

Gaikwad and Avesh looked off color but they need a long rope. Some positives are SKY and Venkatesh Iyer in the middle order. Ishan and Iyer did okay too, Harshal Patel and  Ravi Bishnoi were also impressive with the ball.

Surya Kumar and Iyer played well and released Ind from pressure. The score went up at the last overs. Both were on fire and yes Iyer continued his best play with his bowling taking 2 wickets at the crucial moment. Poorna's consecutive 50s should be noted. Ind bowlers had chances to take a wicket each at the least. Today fast bowlers were lucky enough to take wickets. In PSL today, Islamabad United today made 105/7 in 20 overs. Just when they needed good NRR to qualify for semis they made this small total. It will be interesting to see what there NRR will be after the game as Islamabad and Quetta both have same points. Liam Dawson is the only man performing well from Islamabad side he was second top scorer with bat and also took wickets but his hard work will be in vain as Multan need 18 runs on 26 balls.

This time Lahore Qalanders under Shaheen captaincy have performed exceptionally well.

But their match for today is against a weak Germany. The top two teams would be facing each other - United Arab Emirates and Bahrain (represented by a bunch of foreigners from India and Pakistan). There is a chance that even if Ireland wins today, they won't progress to the semi-finals. And in case they manage to get to semi-finals, then they will be facing a strong Nepal.

I just check details about these matches and now feeling you check some wrong table because currently Ireland is at second position and if they won against Germany which is almost possible then they will stay at second and have chance for qualifying into semi-final.

In second group, we have Nepal as leaders and Canada and Oman other teams from these most chances Oman will qualify for semi-final, and they will play against the UAE and Nepal will go against Ireland. With eight teams are here five from Asia two from Europe and one from North America mean mostly subcontinent players are dominating in these teams, and they have some good career in these all teams until ICC bring some stick law for this which is not possible in next one decade.

Bahrain vs UAE was going good in favour of the UAE but in last two overs very attacking batting from David Mathias and Haidar Butt give them good runs on board now target is 173 for the UAE which is not easy. In other match Germany score 107/7 mean easy win for Ireland with good run rate they know they can claim top position if UAE lost, and they won with good margin.

UAE are 56-2 in 9 overs so I dont think they will able to chase 173 runs in 20 overs. Already the required run rate is over 11 runs per over whereas their current run rate is just above 6. I was also very surprised with Bahrain performance as I saw UAE play before but this is the first time I saw Bahrain play and they are looking much better than UAE in this match.

It is obvious now that Multan, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar have qualified for the playoffs for this year PSL. There is one match left between Lahore and Peshawar which will be played today. The result of this match can only change the position but the top 4 teams will remain unchanged.
