Bahrain's performance surprised me. I have seen UAE's performance in previous T20 World Cups. They are a team that is enough. But Azek Bahrain batted first and gave a huge target of 17.3 runs. UAE will start batting after a while. I don't think they will be able to win by batting on such a big target. However, if the top order batsmen can play well, maybe UAE will be able to win

UAE are 56-2 in 9 overs so I dont think they will able to chase 173 runs in 20 overs. Already the required run rate is over 11 runs per over whereas their current run rate is just above 6. I was also very surprised with Bahrain performance as I saw UAE play before but this is the first time I saw Bahrain play and they are looking much better than UAE in this match.

UAE lost by just 2 runs. They also played enough. The target was big enough. It is really difficult to win by batting against such a target. UAE was able to collect 170 runs thanks to Aravind's innings of 84 off 52 balls. I like Bahrain's batting very much today. The performance of all the subsequent batsmen except the first batsmen was remarkable.

A remarkable achievement by the team of young players against the West Indies. Who would have thought they'd win this way and complete a clean sweep? Watching the series, it's understandable that the West Indies play against India to lose. They don't want to win, either. Similarly, India had no goal for this series. The team simply tested its bench strength.

Nothing remarkable at all if you ask me and the result was predictable after watching West Indies fail continuously against various teams in recent times.

Some of their players like Holder, Powell, Pooran etc kept delivering consistent performances while the rest let the team down while India worked well as a unit in every match. Overall, this was a training series for the Indian team as you mentioned.

Ya UAE played really well after the 1st half of their innings.
After 10 overs it look like they will loose by atleast 20 runs but they had a really good partenership for the 4th wicket and almost won the game. Aravind played really well but his innings was not enough to win the game for UAE. Anyway it was a good game of cricket and really good victory for Bahrain.

Today, we have last match between Lahore Qalanders vs Peshawar Zalmi even both teams already in play-offs, so this match is not going to have any impact on league table because Qalanders are having very healthy NRR which is going to help them for staying at second spot and Zalmi will be at 3rd position. But I have no idea who is going to face each other in play-offs, but hopefully we will have some good and entertaining cricket in coming days of this event and better teams will qualify for Grand Final.

But I am from my heart Qalander, so I am feeling they will be champion of this season their performance were also very good with Fakhar is in great touch with having 500+ runs is great achievement for this guy.

Apart from the game, it's a long time we have seen a full stadiums in PSL with a 100% crowd attendance. Also, the covid did not affect this season and we are having a wonderful covid free PSL experience in our own country.

PSL is seeing some great achievements this year and it has been a success story till now for Pakistan. It would actually be interesting to see how much money this year's PSL generates. I know that Qalander is playing great but I am actually really positive about Multan sultans because they are playing really great. All of their players are looking in form and playing really well.

But I have to say that 500 rounds in such a short time are really unbelievable. He really took apart the bowling of almost every other team. I am looking forward to seeing how much he scores in the whole tournament.

Multan Sultan are simply unstoppable because they have Muhammad Rizwan who has scored 479 runs in 10 innings, the second highest runs scorer in PSL after Fakhar zaman 521 in 10 innings. But we have seen that team winning all margins rearly wins the tournament, usually underdof wins the tournament. Lets see whether Multan can change this narrative or bags the PSL title this year.

Right now Qalandars need 76 runs in 48 balls. Match is interesting lets see who wins the last game.

Majority of cricket experts, fans were making fun and trolling Nicholas Pooran when SRH bought him with high price tag and it turns out Pooran was the highest run scorer in the series with 60+ average. SRH must be very happy camp atm.

Having said that bowling was the main difference in this series. Windies batters are no dummy in T-20 but new Indian bowling lineup did well against them. Windies death bowling was horrible, surprisingly their spinners looked more threatening to me as compare to pacer.

Yes it is a bit disrespecting when we say it was a training series for india or even saying like that the result was pre decided. Yes india won both the series comfortably but in t20 series westindies did not played bad. In last. Matches they had their moments and they could have won any one or both the matches. Winning is also a habit and when you dont win for some time it becomes a bit difficult to finish the game. Also credit must be given to india for performing very good in this series.

We have last match of this round and what an end of this match few minutes back mostly fans were feeling Lahore Qalanders going to lose very easily but Shaheen Shah done amazing job in last over and hit 23 runs with the help of 3 sixes and match end in tie with Super over bowl by Wahab Riaz what an over Lahore Qalanders openers completely fail to have any good target and end with just 5 runs which settle by Shoaib Malik in just first 2 balls of Shaheen Shah over, so now Multan is first Lahore at second Peshawar at third and Islamabad at fourth.

 First qualifier is going to play on 23rd February between Multan vs Lahore and Eliminator is going to play between Peshawar vs Islamabad on 24 February.

I thought Qaladars would lose the match as they needed 24 runs in the last 6 overs but they managed to score 23 runs and the match entered into the super over the stage where sohaib malik used his experience and scored 2 boundaries in 2 balls, giving Peshawar a well deserved win. What a way to end the league matches of PSL through super over.

Now we will have playoffs starting from this Wednesday. The first match will be between the top two teams, Lahore and Multan and it will be a big match for both teams as the winner will move straight into the final.

It's surprising that fakhar couldn't perform since he is the top scorer in PSL 2022. Same situation we saw in ICC World Cup in 2019 when NZ failed to chase 15 runs target, super over is more about your luck and how well you can handle pressure.

West Indies team without Chris Gayle is not threatening anymore and that why we saw they lost the T20 series 3-0. Earlier they lost the one day series to them in a similar manner and they are unable to win a single match.

The competition between England and India for the number one spot is very close and we may see these two teams flipping the positions.

Ireland and UAE both have qualified for final of ICC Men's T20 World Cup at Al Amerat. If you see players then Irish team is composed of local players while all UAE players are imported from South Asia. Now team like Nepal who is also composed of local players is out from ICC T20 WC 2022 as they lost to UAE in semi finals. It's actually crazy because India and England are on the same ratings but India has 10 points more than England. So England is not far behind at all. And I also think that England will claim the 1st spot again after the series against India.

I don't think it's only about Chris Gayle but he was obviously a big reason for the dominance of West Indies. But after he stopped playing for West Indies I don't think that the batting lineup is the same anymore. They don't have a batsman who can strike fear into the hearts of the opponent.

What a shocking defeat for Nepal in crucial semi-final ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier as I was expecting very good win for them but UAE with the help of adopted players done some better and now have place into final for facing Ireland. Mohammad Waseem and Vriitya Aravind done amazing job for the UAE, and they give very tough target of 176, but Nepal completely fail and manage just 107 runs in 18.4 overs this was one-sided affair. In the second semi-final Ireland beat Oman as Andy McBrine's all round performance give them a place in the final which is going to play 24 February.

Even UAE win against very spirited Nepal which was full of local talented players, I am feeling bad for them as it's not good and fair from ICC because they need to bring some law for promoting team like this instead of the UAE and Oman.
