The drama never ends with this Pakistan team and they have lost two wickets in their 2nd innings without putting a single run on the board. How often do we see this happening before in a test match where a team is 2-0 ?

Both Abdullah Shafique  and Mir Hamza were bowled by Sodhi and now it is almost impossible for the Pakistan team to save this test match. I don't know how Babar Azam can alone take them to victory  

I am baffled with the tactics from New Zealand. If they wanted to declare early, then they should have scored runs quickly. They declared their innings with a lead of just 319 runs. Kane Williamson had a strike rate of less than 40 and Henry Nicholls was even worse, although Michael Bracewell in the end spiked the scoring rate. Luckily for them, the bowlers did well yesterday and now Pakistan need that many runs with just 8 wickets in hand. But Babar Azam is yet to come and there is still a good chance for a Pakistani win.

Both teams are playing thakela game, so far no one actually showed any intent to win and just looking for draw due to the slow pitch.

Those late 2 wickets helped Kiwis but the pitch is still way too good to bat on. Pakistan could have been in a better place if Sarfaraz was a bit more accurate behind the wickets, he's having a pathetic test match as wk.

Pakistan is in a very good position to win this test match. Still, 11 overs left in the match and we have to score only 50 runs.
This is surely an achievable target if Pakistan does not lose wickets.

I would say that New Zealand underestimated Pakistan and declared a bit early. Maybe they had some security issues

Pakistan have lost 8 wickets the only positive thing is Sarfraz is still on the crease. Pakistan need 32 runs to win or 7 overs to survive. They have lost all test series last year and if they man3age to win this test it will be a big win. Pakistan have a decent team but they don't have much focus on test.

The match is drawn. A draw results in the second test match between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi. This is not what was expected, but once again, poor lighting ruined the game. There are only three overs left, but we will have to be satisfied with this dramatic draw.  

I am so grateful to have been able to witness such an entertaining test match. Congratulations to both teams.

The light rule stopped the match and the series end without result. Somehow it is a lucky day for both the teams. The match that was in the hands of Pakistan missed when they lost the wicket of Salman. He went for the wrong shot at the unwanted time. If not the match could've ended earlier.

Well, actually it was the umpires who saved their face as the win for any team at that time, the other team would have blamed the umpire for not stopping the match and continued in the bad light. 

To be fair to both teams, they had no option but to declare the end of the day.

Yep. Both teams had a chance to win this game. While Naseem shah showed his batting capability. He played a match-winning knock before. Did you guys forget that? I wouldn't be surprised if Naseem hit couple of sixes.

The match is drawn. A draw results in the second test match between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi. This is not what was expected, but once again, poor lighting ruined the game. There are only three overs left, but we will have to be satisfied with this dramatic draw.

Different types of calculations were done throughout the test. Most of the time, New Zealand was placed above. Moreover, when the New Zealand team decided to stop batting after scoring 277 , they were confident that they were enough runs. Pakistan team also fallen in danger. They have come to this stage so far that many did not imagine. In the first Test, almost lost match turned into a draw and the same situation in the last Test as well. Above all, I think the two Test matches have created the spectators a lot of excitement. Congratulations to Pakistan & New Zealand teams. Although no team has been able to accept the winner in this series, the ODI match will start a few days later we will get who will be the winner.

They as in PCB wanted to win, they went ahead and created or rather designed pitches as a highway in the first and then in this match they tried but again got a highway pitch but, they forgot that they have a unreliable batters. Maybe their was another attack from TTP that caused bad light due to smoke clouds ot it was something else.

The pitch will be really difficult to bat and Pakistan already lost 2 wickets without even scoring any runs and it will be a really difficult period for the batsman if they are planning to defend and slow down the match and Babar Azam needs to play a longer innings. I already placed a bet on draw no bet on New Zealand winning the match and will see how this one turns out .

I didn't knew that there was a prolonged break in this match due to religious prayers. If this was pre planned, then the match could have been started 30 minutes earlier to cover up for this loss time. If this was implemented, then surely we would had the result.

From spectator's point of view, the worst thing they want to see a test match with so close to a result but ended in a draw because of external factors such as bad light.

Guess it was for home series only and a voluntary decision from the PCB. I hardly noticed this when Pakistan toured SL or Bangladesh.

Yeah, no problem with the extra 20 mins breaks but at least make up for this lost time or at least try to pretend lol.

That's not necessary according to me. Because most of the matches have got similar situation. In yesterday's match it was New Zealand that declared at 5 wickets and Pakistan towards the win with one wicket left to reach the target. Here both the team have got winning and losing chance. Result needs to be reached, yet New Zealand having more wickets in hand and losing won't be good.
