I can't even read news regarding this, but there's a lot of speculation you can find on Facebook and some on youtube from our sports fans that has a youtube channel. We are just also speculating here, and we have discussed in the previous page that Greg is bad for SMB as they have JMF who is currently their best player, and with that, SMB will easily dominate the paint as these two rivals will now help each other to dominate.

If so.. With healthy two giants inside the paint plus energetic Perez and Romeo and a possiblities of having Bolic what kind of line up is that?
No assurance or any confirmation about this possible trades but if this will happened, SMB will take another dominance knowing that their role players are also fits to rest the starters and give some minutes to sit and relax.

That's the rumors, actually, it's together with Greg, but we have no full info regarding that and who will be shifted to Northport in exchange for these 2 great players. SMB trying to form a super team again, I mean they are already a superteam but they still want to make the lineup better, I'm afraid they'll shift the old guards like Cabagnot and Ross.

Those are just rumors but there could be a basis and insider regarding that transfer. But as long as there's no actual post and announcement from that rumor, let it remain as a rumor.
But if that's for real and SMB really wants to take those two, then that won't be stopped if it's the management that has decided to take them on their roster.

If that is true then there's nothing we can do, but that is not good for the reputation of the league, why punished a  player for playing overseas when the purpose is just to get more compensation and have better competition? I think they should be proud of it instead if they really want to see our players develop their skills and achieve their dreams.

Reading some recent news revolving around the league, there are lots of positive news about the PBA re-opening. We can conclude now that there's no way it can be halted or delayed again so I can consider it now as official. There's a date now which is July 16, barely just less than a week now.

Since the vaccine rate within PBA players, families, and staff is one of the requirements, PBA mandates their players to get vaccinated. I just don't know how they able to encourage the other players that don't want to get vaccinated or maybe simply, they have no choice as they are paid to work, just like other employees.

Not sure about that thing, Respect ?  "Danny I" and "Dynamite Danny" both key players who really brings the very best out for this team, have they receive that respect?  Both key players retired their jersey playing outside SMB.

San Miguel always play with their money, so even this two pillars needs to trade out they don't have any options, money will speak for them.

I don't know exactly but I kinda believe that I've heard this rumor already months ago after the exclusive trade of CJ Perez.
After getting Perez, there are rumors that they want to get Bollick too but until now there are no signs that this will happen especially that Bollick is just coming back from his injury years ago.

I will not be surprised if this trade will happen though and it might "again" a controversial trade like what they did to CJ Perez. If this will happen, I'm thinking that they will do the same. They could have traded those two easily but Romeo and Pringle stay with the Northport for a while until they got traded.
Romeo's journey is quite interesting as he was traded with TNT but eventually got traded to SMB, while on Pringle, he was directly traded to BGSM.

Of course, because they are just humans, they make mistakes as well and I think it always boils down to the chemistry of the team. Even if they form a super team but without chemistry, they'll not succeed with it, we've seen a lot in the NBA and it's not guaranteed.

I agree, even though they are a strong team on papers but still they are humans and having that kind of lineup still has problems.

Just like when CStand went to SMB, many of us think that SMB will be the automatic champion as they are a very strong team on papers but it doesn't translate on the court because of chemistry issues.

But the good thing about this Fajardo-Slaughter tandem in the future is that they knew each other very well and they will set aside their ego and just play hard to win championships, unlike CStand that demanded a longer playing time.

Interesting trades will happen again and the super teams will get their best players to collaborate with each other again. And one thing that's being anticipated and that is to have those best players on one boat and that's likely to happen again. That's what we see most of the time from conference to conference. If the rumor is true then I'll start to believe with 50% with good rumors in the future because it seems that these rumors are really coming from an accurate source. I won't say an official source but that's likely.

It will remain a rumor forever as obviously, there's no way a farm team can be determined. The negotiations are always under the table and that's what part of PBA politics. Lots of questionable trades since then with SMB franchises as the most who takes an advantage.

Anyhow, it doesn't mean that these farm teams will intentionally not be aggressive in their bid to take the title. It's just that, players from these farm teams are not improving to have a stand in the competition.

I think he is very useful to Magnolia as he brings a lot of energy on the floor, with him playing with Calvin Abueva, this team will be better.
If that is part of the sanction by the management of Magnolia, then there's nothing to do as attitude is very important and they could decide anything they think that is best for the team.
