Trying to get my Dad to order an SP30 along with me but he doesn't like ordering something that cost that much and then have to wait quite a while to get it. And I can't come up with any positive notes on why it is a good deal. He's old school. You give your money, you get your product. Once the Neptune's start rolling out from KNC and start hashing away, maybe some deciding factors will present themselves. God I'm such a baby, it's only $5k, right? 4 mortgage payments, big deal.

I'm guessing even before the September SP30's come out they will be sold out so they'll never be in stock anyway. Has to be a psychological thing to I think.

The SP30 looks nice, but the competition doesn't sit still.

By the time time August / September rolls around, you can count on the SP30 going head to head with the Bitmain S3 and Knc Neptune. It's impossible too tell which will be a better deal at that time because there are too many variables and a lot will change in the next 3 months.

And with no refunds %100 of the risk is on the consumer. Bitcoin mining is a one of a kind business!

Folks and fellow miners,

I have had some communication with the fellow named "Guy" at Spondoolies. Folks you really should go to their website if you have any specific questions about your planned purchase....they are really really helpful and seem to be there for their customers.

It may be short lived...but for right now you cannot get better support. We shall see.

I found out that these units ARE NOISY. You really do not want to run them in your home unless you got a basement.

Hosting is a kewl idea...they keep the unit and run it for you...THIS IS NOT REMOTE HOSTING!

When you preorder your unit you do not need to pay and preorder the hosting part...you just give them a note not to ship and hosting payment to follow.

Maybe you shouldn't be encouraging this. The cables required need to be 20A for a continuous rating of 16A. The IEC 320 standard power cord for this rating is C19/C20 or C21/C22 connector/plug combination. However, these connectors will not fit the power supply which probably means the power supply was never intended (or tested) for 20A.

Difficulty will always rise, but it's very important by how much. Assuming that it will rise with 40% monthly indefinitely is simply wrong and it makes a very big difference when it comes to ROI.
