You can't have too cold when it comes to mining machines. (as long as you don't have condensation)

You can't have too cold when it comes to mining machines. (as long as you don't have condensation) ok overkill it is ...getting a couple thermostat controlled attic fans for the other windows....get the heat out some that way if that in conjunction with this little a/c plan ...so be it....overkill it shall be! (will have to take pics this is gonna be about as energy eff as turning an a/c unit on in a screened porch .but hey if it keeps the miner cool) now if this guy would just be right by say august 2014 (notice I added the year ..this guy drank the super kool aid) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/currency/10960012/Bitcoin-price-to-hit-2000-by-end-of-the-year.htmlthe basmement could then look like this ...heh vrooom vroom http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRH-Ywpz1_I(man that was a bad movie) Searing

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

To all our customers (even the unreal provocateur ones) - we're ok. We got a lot of heartwarming emails and we wanted to thank you. It's not an easy situation for us, but we'll manage. Rest assure that the orders will be shipped on time. Some facts: - Our houses and families are within range of the missiles. Most of the population are. - Our offices are about 100 meter from Intel 22nm Fab (soon 10nm Fab), which means that we have excellent Iron Dome coverage. - Flextronics manufacturing plant is in the far north, well outside the range of the current conflict. Shipping is done from there. - The mandatory enlisting of reserved forces is minimal. None of our engineers and employees have been drafted. Guy Can you see the smoke from there? Son-of-a-bitch!!! Now they are shooting from Lebanon too!!! Please, please, please don't hit the miners at the shipping facility.

Maybe Spondoolies should move to China. Could help with their lead times in ordering parts.

Today is 41 days since my machines went online at Spondoolies DC. Right now achieved 50% ROI! YAY !
What has happened there in the last 24 hours as of today's date (July 11) exactly? They are all running at absolute peak performance. Best I have seen yet. Cold snap come in? AC cranked up? Mighty curious at this point

Just looking over their site and can't find a TOS for the hosting. I have to think our machines are insured? Then again for other international trade terms and conditions I think Acts of War are not covered.

Yes you can. Some soldier joins can crack with the severe cold. and then heat. That being said for the most part you do not have to worry. would 'baby' purr better? (ie how cold is too cold or don't matter)

I guess that explains why I haven't received a response from Spondoolies' CS, you've been preoccupied with more pressing concerns.
Glad to hear that you guy's are OK.

Also, you have to consider temperature increases and statistical variance of hashing speed etc. It is normal that the hashrate can go down by 30-100 GH if the unit gets warmer (e.g by 7 degrees....).
crap...what is the best temp for say sp30 (ball park guess?).... decided to stick the sp30 sept and the Titan KNC miner in bsmt ....(cheapo.....figured 40 days of cooling vs 2-3 months heat in winter) .prob was not my wisest move in other words just from the get go should I have something like the window a/c unit (with say looped flex a/c type tube 16") from front of regular basement window...about 3'ft across ceiling and then just drape the last 3 ft straight down over the sp30 unit? would 'baby' purr better? (ie how cold is too cold or don't matter) maybe i should just shoot for overkill in the first place (doable if a pain in the a*s) (well..this project certainly is getting out of control) Searing If you have an attick, don't install any gable fans. I would definitely go for one of those full house fans that usually sit on your roof in the middle of the attick. If you get one powerful enough it can pull and circulate the air in your house in a matter of minutes. I've seen some so powerful that if you open up the access panel to the attick while the fan is on and toss a tissue in the air it will get swept up into the attack. Negative air pressure is what you want of course for that air circulation. I learned my lesson with this by installing gable fans on both ends of my attick and basically nothing happened. Too bad those evaporative fans don't work good in the summer.

But due to the current Middle East conflict, I would like to point that the word "attack" used 4 times above should be "attic". Another post today used "soldier" instead of "solder". Freudian slips, perhaps? Or just bad spellers? Lol.
