And all hosting quotes we got are for 2500W and no one saus a word to say it was 2700W (even hashplex hash SP30 listed as 2500W https://hashplex.com/frequently-asked-questions/)

Another problem could be pushing the PSUs to that limit, being server grade is not the same as "unlimited powa" a 10% over specs sounds risky so I hope the FW is on the safe zone to avoid burning the PSUs

Hashplex got the 2500W from the product page, but it was stated a long time ago that for the 6TH/s the units would need 2700W.

If you can point us where, it will be great.

Too lazy to check the official SP-Tech site? http://www.spondoolies-tech.com

Basically the co. over promised and under delivered, this is not the way to do business and is the reason why I will never buy a Pre-Sale, I bet the co. knew there would be issues with hardware hence no refund. Currently I only buy from companies that sell from stock, When Spondoolies sells from stock is the day I place an order.

So SP-Tech just announced that they will offer refunds and you say that there are no refunds. Why?

Thank you. It will.

Thanks a lot for the hard work of keeping us informed, for the delivery in time, and the compensation plan in place.

Much appreciated.
Thank you.

It's quite late in Israel, I'll answer more questions tomorrow.
Long days ahead ...

Guy

Thanks for taking the time to explain, and with the compensation plan it just goes to show the type of company Spondoolies-Tech is.    Other companies just try to hide the problem and play stupid...straight up and honest is the way to earn continued business.   I intend to order additional units.

Thank you for the hard work, keep it coming!

Now, they could raise the power and increase the hash, lowering the efficiency, which doing some quick math would get them to maybe 4.5th at their original power specs.

Ok, so worse on power but I was on the button with the hash.  Who wants to send me a cookie?

So we have the best outcome possible. On time delivery and just a little worse specs than announced.

Only 60% worse.. no biggie.

Anyways I believe you have some homeless people to feed?

LOL, are you bored?

They delivered product on time, they are offering fair compensation for the issue, and they arent making a bunch of crap up or just staying silent like most of the other MFG's that have had issues.    These guys take care of their customers - im a decent size customer and they've always been super responsive to any issue.

Will donate 0.1 BTC to Sean's for out bet in a couple of hours don't worry.

Because it wasn't published on their website, but it was stated by Guy here on the forum.

Not on the website, but public enough .. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one having access to this ...

http://storage.googleapis.com/spond_public/materials/FAQ%20SP30%20PSU.docx

Here's again the power supply specs. Maybe it helps.

EDIT: here's the UL certification ..  focus on DS1200-3-002. On the 2nd page .. 200V to 240V @ 7A = 1400W min to 1680W max .. on average 1500W.

... I bet the co. knew there would be issues with hardware ...
Not true. We got nasty surprise.

Sorry, should have been more clear, what I meant was the fact that you had No Refund Policy from the start, you guys are smart engineers and most likely expected some sort of issues with the hardware, you could only do so much with simulation software etc. so your company decided not to issue refunds as a company policy, I did not mean that you knew about this issue.

What I meant was no refund for the total purchase, the hashrate is off by 25%, I understand that there could be electronic issues but deal is a deal and they should offer full refund along with compansation they will be offering and let the buyers decide.
