Chelsea should go to Old Trafford and win the game because they are a better team.

Even if Manchester United manage to win the game it will be all about trying to cover the flaws in their team cohesion because it is probably too late for them to mount a challenge for a 4th place finish because Tottenham and Arsenal are too far ahead. Mathematically it is still possible though.

Here comes another opportunity for the blues to make the sky blue indeed for them in this round i want to believe they have made adequate preparation enough to fight against Manchester United because Man U have not performed well in this season and by now they would have study every aspect of their weaknesses and take advantage of that, its going to be an interesting match as to watch how Chelsea will play tirelessly on the pitch against Manchester United and i believe Man U will as well play a defensive game in other not to loose, but i predict the match to end with Chelsea 1: 0 against Man U.

When football journos start saying 'it's still mathematically possible' it's just them wanting you to keep hoping.  United is done for the season.  They should be happy the season is ending soon as they could start with a fresh slate again.

On the other hand, the last few fixtures are very crucial for both City and Liverpool.  I have a weird feeling Leeds might get a draw or something in their upcoming match.  They weren't really that good vs Real Madrid.  I'm not sure why a lot of people thought it was a good showing for them.  Their back line sucked that night.

Leeds is three wins, two draws in their last 5 matches.

I think Chelsea played well enough to have won the game, So many missed chances for Chelsea which could have saw them won the match.

Man Utd didn't too well in defense too and, for not De Gea with those brilliant saves, then Chelsea definitely should have won the game.

Yeah, he only had one against them in a cup game during his first spell at Manchester United, waited 19 years for a league goal. Chelsea is never an easy team to score against; it took Messi 15 games to finally score against them. I haven't bet on any of our games against Manchester United or Arsenal since 2017. We rarely get results against these two teams. Despite playing one of our best games, we were unable to break the old trafford curse.

Chelsea made a huge mistake signing Lukaku, he has been short of fitness, focus, goals and assists. If they had a real consistent goal scorer they would have fully challenged Manchester City and Liverpool for the premier league crown.

Now Chelsea are in a difficult situation because even if they buy a prolific striker for next season they will be without Rudiger, Alonso and Christensen therefore their defence will need a rebuild too. They will retain Reece James who is a good player with so much potential but Chelsea need to rebuild fast otherwise they will go down the failed decade wilderness that Manchester United are in after Ferguson retired.

Maybe the best thing for Manchester United next season will be to concentrate on the premier league. If they are out of the champions league then that could be the best thing for them while Erik ten Hag tries to rebuild this failing team. If they put out their strongest teams for all their premier league games and field tactical teams for domestic cup and European competitions (to rest their important players for the premier league) then ten Hag might be able to revive the team.

I feel that Tuchel failed to handle Lukaku properly because Lukaku is a good striker, but in my opinion Tuchel didn’t understand how to manage Lukaku and that’s why he failed to get the best out of him. Also if Ten Hag doesn’t sell most of the player’s then the club is bound for more disappointment, because currently we need a prolific striker, a strong midfielder, right back, centre back and a left back and these can’t be bought till many sales happen.

^  Mmmmm I don't think it's as simple as Tuchel didn't handle Lukaku well.  Lukaku's playing style is he likes bullying defenders and if he fails to do that, he usually folds.  In the Serie A, he was able to do just that because mostly he was able to bully them.  Not in the EPL tho..  Defenders are quicker, tougher and just all around better.  How many truly successful seasons did Lukaku have under different managers and clubs in the EPL?  I think not many.  He's been at Chelsea, West Brom, Everton, Man United then back to Chelsea.

But yeah, I guess Tuchel might have done something in it.  But blaming him overall would be unfair imho.

He failed before, so I'm not surprised he's failing again at Chelsea. Lukaku is more of a seasonal striker who is only used to a certain type of formation; he found it difficult to perform as a lone striker, which is not the type of football Tuchel plays. I'm sick of not having a striker who can score 20+ goals per season.

Now Chelsea are in a difficult situation because even if they buy a prolific striker for next season they will be without Rudiger, Alonso and Christensen therefore their defence will need a rebuild too.

Alonso is not moving. He's now the only back-up LW, and Tuchel likes him, so I don't see him leaving in the summer. Rudiger has yet to sign an official contract with Real Madrid, but it is already a done deal. At £400k per week, he will be the highest-paid defender. At the very least, he deserves it.

I feel that Tuchel failed to handle Lukaku properly because Lukaku is a good striker, but in my opinion Tuchel didn’t understand how to manage Lukaku and that’s why he failed to get the best out of him.

Tuchel isn't the reason he misses clean sitters and one-on-one opportunities every game; he's just not as good as the media made him out to be. The sooner we get him rigged, the better for the club in the long run.

It was just an unlucky night for Chelsea. They did all they could but the goal keeper of Manchester united was just extraordinary perfect. Suddenly David De Gea became a Superman. Although Manchester united is a big club but they were outclassed by Chelsea and deserved to lose that match. Chelsea needs a good finisher and Lukaku was doing the finishing job very well until he gradually began to suffer the same fate other prolific strikers suffered in Chelsea. Chelsea have the history of buying world class strikers that becomes liabilities immediately they arrive. Big names like Fernando Torres and Andriy Mykolayovych Shevchenko became supper flops in Chelsea. I was mainly worried about Adriy who was a goal king in AS Milan and well adored by Italian fans becoming a shadow of himself in Chelsea.

But Chelsea have learnt to cope without reliable strikers. Most of their goals are scored by defenders and it has really helped them. I thought Cristaino Ronaldo would be a liability to Manchester United but he keeps on showing that he is one of the greatest strikers of all times. His finish was superb and he is proving again that his retirement from football is still far. Chelsea has a very solid defence but I am scared of next season. With news that Rudiger is leaving and their is no guarantee that Alonso and Christensen would remain. Without these players Chelsea defense would be very porous. The team must ensure they still maintain their best defense and look for a means to solve their striking mess.

Burnley have an opportunity to put more pressure on Everton if they can get a win at relegated Watford. Everton are in the relegation zone 2 points behind Burnley having played one game less but if Burnley win today they will be 5 points ahead.

If Liverpool win they go 2 points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table and if they draw they both will have 80 points but Liverpool will be top because they have a +4 goal difference.

Manchester City play at Leeds with a 5.30pm kick-off. Both teams have 5 games remaining.

Mathematically it is simple: if Manchester City win their remaining 5 games they will be premier league champions. Also if Everton win their remaining 6 games they cannot be relegated.

Before the games were played today, Liverpool held a +4 goal difference advantage over Manchester City and when they went top of the table with a 0-1 win at Newcastle it increased to +5 but Manchester City thrashed Leeds 0-4 which means it is down to just +1 now.

Everton do need all 3 points to send a signal to Burnley that they will fight them to avoid relegation but at the very least Everton need a point from this very difficult game. If Tottenham beat Leicester and at the same time if West Ham draw with or beat Arsenal, then Tottenham move in to the 4th champions league spot.

With 4 games to go Manchester City know they will be crowned champions if they win their games. For Liverpool to have any chance to be crowned champions league champions they must win their remaining 4 games and hope Manchester City drop points. I believe Manchester City will be winners

For me Manchester United is unstoppable. The team is in top form.Leeds United successfully caged the team in the first half. Although the conceded a goal but the team was composed and Leeds coach Jesse Marsch was very happy with his team's performance after the break. But the second half was different. Leeds United allowed Manchester City to dominate the midfield and they paid dearly for that lack of concentration. Manchester City would win the English Premier league while Liverpool would grab the Champions League.
