If Manchester United want to be serious contenders for the Premier League and Champions League season after season, they must replace the manager and they must sell the players that are simply not up to the job.
I think the priority for Manchester United must be to make big changes in the squad. Maybe it might not be mainly due to the manager. Because Erik ten Hag hasn't had a very competitive squad this season. Injury problems also got bigger in time and the season turned into nightmare. Even if all of their injured players recover I don't think their squad is good enough to compete for the PL championship. Defense and midfield must be their priority to consolidate. After that it wouldn't be bad to sign a good attacker also. Rashford is one of the most inconsistent players I have ever seen.

Huge embarrassment from Man United getting trashed by Crystal Palace of all clubs. Anyway the books seem to think they're going to lose vs Arsenal at home in Old Trafford, giving them a generous line of 7.20, draw no bet at 5 and double chance at 3.10. I think these are very good lines as the match is in Old Trafford. They won't roll over that easy in front of their own fans. Edit: Ooo damn... And just like that the line fell to 6.60, 4.70 and 3. It was a such a big disappointment for Manchester United fans. Seeing your team being that desperate must be frustrating. Plus, Manchester United have been struggling like this for years... When it comes to the odds for the Manchester United - Arsenal match, I see some interesting differences on some websites. Arsenal have the same odds however Manchester United's varies from 7.20 to 6.40. Maybe it isn't a big deal, I don't know. At the end of the day, I just expect Arsenal to win this one way or another. They have to if they want to keep their chance for the PL championship. If you're sports betting for a living then these small edges really matter imho. I mean if you could bet some club at 7.20 then why go for 6.40? The price gap is somewhat big. Got a feeling Man United will spoil Arsenal's title run. They are not gonna accept a loss at Old Trafford after a trashing from Crystal Palace. Lol. But in fairness to Crystal Palace, their new manager seems really good. They have no loss since he took over from Roy Hodgson.

There are many Manchester United club players who will be replaced next summer. They need to be replaced after playing badly in 2023/2024 and that has caused performance to decline at the club with Erik Ten Hag appearing very disappointing this season, making him seventh in the standings, but Thus, Manchester United still has a chance to win the trophy after reaching the final of the FA Cup. And that gives them hope of winning with plans to sterthis summer to streng then the team, maybe that is one of the breakthroughs to improve and strengthen the squad for next season.

These are the games taking place today Wednesday 15th May:
Brighton and Hove Albion vs Chelsea Manchester United vs Newcastle United
The result from the game played yesterday was eagerly awaited by all fans of the Premier League and neutrals:
Tottenham Hotspur 0-2 Manchester City
Arsenal were sitting at the top of the table having played one game more but now with both Arsenal and Manchester City having just one game each remaining, it is Manchester City that are two points clear at the top of the table. Both teams are playing at home and both are expected to win their games but at last the winner will be decided on the last day of the season.
As for relegation from the Premier League to the Championship, the three teams have been confirmed: Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton Town.

Maybe you are right but it is hard to make sure of it for me truthfully. Because I don't think this squad is good enough to be competitive for the PL championship no matter who their manager is.
After this 2-0 win, I guess we can already celebrate Manchester City about another league championship. Because as of now I don't think they will mess up. This match looked like the only way to help Arsenal. Manchester City actually had a bad record in away matches against Tottenham but here they didn't repeat it. Guardiola is really difficult to be stopped in this league.

West Ham are well known for playing with their hearts every game and I think we might see a big surprise on the weekend with West Ham achieving a draw and making Arsenal champions. It will not be right for City to win another year with their petrol money because no other club can match their investments and hopefully City's era will end this weekend. At least I can dream of it happening right ?

RESULTS:
Brighton and Hove Albion 1-2 Chelsea Manchester United 3-2 Newcastle United
Chelsea won their game at Brighton but conceded a very late goal which again shows that there is a still a lot of work for Pochettino to do before Chelsea could be considered as serious title contenders. Realistically, they have to aim for a top six finish next season because they are not ready for anything else.
As for Manchester United and Newcastle United, neither deserved to have a Champions League top four spot this season and it does not look as though they will have any improvement next season either unless both teams make changes.

At least I can dream of it happening right ? Yeah, West Ham aren't a team that give up easily normally. However I can't say that for the current season I'm afraid. Because they are one of their worst seasons in terms of defending. Look at how many goals they have conceded and what is their position among the others: I can remind you of another match also which was played recently, Chelsea 5-0 West Ham. If Chelsea are able to defeat them like this I don't even want to think about what Manchester City can do. With a big goal difference or not, I expect Manchester City to dominate and win. Otherwise normally I'm also with the people who want Arsenal to become PL champions.

Today is the final day of the season.
Though the balance of power is in the hands of Manchester City because they have a two point lead, they have not been crowned Champions because Arsenal have forced the issue to the final game of the season.
As it stands, both teams could win the Premier League title as we enter the final games of the season.
- If Arsenal lose or draw their game then Manchester City will definitely be crowned champions - If Manchester City win their game, they will definitely be crowned champions - If Manchester City lose their game and Arsenal win their game, Arsenal will be crowned champions by one point - If Manchester City draw their game and Arsenal win their game, Arsenal will be crowned champions by virtue of goal difference

It is going to be fun to watch the last matches of the season. 3 hours to go now! In addition to the championship rivalry, there is still a competition among Tottenham - Chelsea - Newcastle. I think all of these teams are going to keep their places by the end of their matches today. But there is still a mathematical chance for Chelsea and Tottenham to swap places for the Europa League or for Newcastle to qualify for the Conference League. Considering the recent performances, I would love to see Chelsea qualifying for the EL but I don't believe Tottenham will lose to Sheffield away.

Well, in their last six Premier League games Chelsea have a W4 D1 L1 record whereas Tottenham have W1 D0 L5 and with that Chelsea are in 6th place just three points behind 5th place Tottenham.
If Tottenham lose their game today and Chelsea win theirs, Chelsea will finish the season in 5th place because they currently have a +3 superior goal difference. A draw (and a point) is enough to ensure Tottenham finish the season in 5th place.

It's time! In about 90 minutes we will found out who will be crowned as EPL champs 23/24 season and personally I cheer for West Ham to actually make a draw against City and on the same time Arsenal to win without any troubles and become champions. This is the dream scenario that is very unlikely to happen but one can dream right ?

West Ham at least scored but against such a dominance their chance was really low already. By the way Kudus scored an amazing bicycle kick! The goal: https://youtu.be/2mNvqq8RaaA?si=8pJnjIx7lEw0dxHr&t=365Anyway I'm not surprised with the result of course. Because I wasn't trusting West Ham in defense at all and they didn't prove me wrong. Arsenal lost the PL title chance by inches this time. Recently Arsenal are getting closer to the title every season though. Do you predict next season could be the one for Arsenal finally?

Honestly City had a great run, even with all that trouble they still got what they wanted. Of course getting another UCL would have been a lot better and they really wanted that but it wasn't an easy season, plus when you are a premier league club, UCL is harder, they have a lot more games, and that gets squeezed together, City had a lot more games near the games of Real Madrid so it was harder.
In the end, they deserved it, 115 charges or not because we do not have any issues or results or consequences so far, you can put up a million charges and as long as they come out clean that doesn't mean anything anyway. Lets see if they can do five in a row, that would be sick, I think nobody would ever be able to do that in my life time ever again.

It is the first time the Premier League was won by a team four times consecutively, congratulations to Manchester City. I do not want to take anything away from the success Manchester City have built but what cannot be denied is that the accusation against their 115 breaches of the financial rules means their success is tainted. Let us not forget, they could even end up being relegated if they are found guilty of cheating and have their wins retrospectively revoked therefore that is something the players, owners, management team and fans as well as football fans all over the world should keep in mind when congratulating Manchester City. Manchester City are now 25/1 to be relegated because rumours circulating point to them being found guilty on many of the charges of cheating.

Manchester City has been found cheating for years technically but they just don't do anything about it. It is so annoying to see big teams being kept in a different position than other teams when it comes to financial rules. Just as Manchester City, PSG is also in the same situation in fact. But justice still doesn't arrive. I would still be okay if it arrives late, at least they would get what they deserve in the end. If it is decided on Manchester City to be relegated or punished in other deserved ways then it would be the start of an era to be fair against all teams on this topic.

When UEFA charged Manchester City with breaches of the financial fair play rules, they went in hard to make an example of them. They suspended Manchester City from the Champions League for two season and fined them €30 million. Though Manchester City could easily absorb the financial penalty, they did not want to be labelled as cheats therefore they used a loophole when they went to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to appeal the sentence. The time period UEFA had to bring charges dated to a period outside their statutory limit therefore Manchester City had their original penalty above reduced to just €10 million and were reinstated in the Champions League. All that because of a technicality. However, those same statutory time limits do not apply to the Premier League and it is them that have charged Manchester City with 115 breaches. Without a doubt Manchester City will be found guilty on many of the charges and for those reasons they could be relegated and/or face massive fines. Manchester City has been found cheating for years technically but they just don't do anything about it. It is so annoying to see big teams being kept in a different position than other teams when it comes to financial rules. Just as Manchester City, PSG is also in the same situation in fact. Manchester City could have been the first team to win consecutive doubles but they lost the FA Cup final to Manchester United yesterday. The irony is that Manchester City win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup last season and they beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final. In the FA Cup final last season Manchester United could not stop their local rivals from winning the domestic double but this time they stopped them becoming the first team to win back to back doubles.
For Manchester City they made history by winning four consecutive Premier League titles but next season they will face a major threat from a youthful Arsenal team. If Liverpool (with their new manager) have a good start and also Tottenham and Aston Villa in the mix, Manchester City will not find it easy. Finally, if Manchester United and Chelsea get momentum going it will make the chase for a top four place exciting.
Even though Manchester City have 115 allegations of cheating against them and will probably lose some of their Premier League titles retrospectively, they are still Premier League champions therefore a big congratulations to them.
