The next game is a must win game for us to have a chance to qualify, let's see how he manages to handle all the pressure and needs to qualify us. Then we can have a conversation about him.

Next is us playing host to Zimbabwe. I hope the boys do not get so excited by the win against Rwanda that they forget what is at stake in this game. There is still room for a lot of improvement because Zimbabwe will offer a different kind of threat, one that they may be unprepared for.

It will be more disappointing to lose at home than to have lost in the away game, even though losing is not an option in any of these games.

I don't think it has anything to do with the coach, it's about the seriousness of the players, what difference did Chelle bring to the super Eagles team yesterday that made Nigeria to win, it is not the same players we've been using.the players felt that their is need for them to get the three points after losing Several of their qualifying games. There was nothing extra ordinary that the coach did. I don't also think they had ego, I felt they've realized how important it is to qualify for the World Cup, so they don't want to give room for excuses anymore, from the first half, you could see how desperate the likes of Victor Osimhen, Ademola lookman and the rest forwarders where pushing forward the ball, until they secured that first two goals in the first half.

A good manager is everything. I don't want to talk about the tactics but Finidi George's squad selection was poor. Some of the players that were called up, their performance were below par and yet he kept playing them. That aside, as a manager, he was supposed to keep the team together but he almost ripped it apart when he had a rift with Osimhen. This is a misunderstanding that wouldn't have been in the first place if he knew how to handle some things. If he was still in charge of the super eagles, I'm sure we wouldn't have qualified for AFCON.

I like what i saw against Rwanda, we were not at our exceptional best, but we musn't forget that we have a new manager who was just coaching in his first competitive game for the country, so i believe the team will get better with more games they play together.

Zimbabwe is the next challenge and there is nothing more to say other than anything short of a win will prolly mean we won't be in the next world cup, so that is enough to tell us how important the three points are

Super eagles winning the game would be a happy moment for the coach infact not just  for the coach only but for fans that are supporters of the supper eagles. One of the interesting about the game was that the super eagle's were able to win the game without struggles,  the game was very lively compare to some of the games of super eagles before now. For the new coach to see the super eagles with an impressive performance with the first game as coach with the team, I just hope to see the coach do better with the team.

The super eagles were able to get a win against Rwanda which is a very good one for them, and at least they have confidence that they can still qualify for the next World Cup if they continue with their good performance. Super eagles performance has not been so good, and at some points I lost confidence in them, but their performance was good in their last match, and at least it they can continue with the good performance, they can still qualify.

The super eagles next match will be against Zimbabwe, I just hope they will keep on performing well in their subsequent matches, I just hope they won’t disappoint us because it’s going to be sad if the super eagles doesn’t qualify for the World Cup.

They definitely did. Knowing that anything short of a win would put them in danger of missing out on the world cup finals. It was great to see them play cohesively and secure the much needed result. The performance of the Super Eagles was incredible , kudos to Erick chelle and his players. The world cup hasn't even began so the finals is in very far anticipation of which we don't know if the Eagles are even going to get that far in the world cup. This is their first game under Erick chelle's management and it's commendable even If they still need to work on some improvements but they so far have done well enough to make us give them some attention which mayblater grow into trust. We all are  very hopeful this turns out one of the best administrations after a while since they have started off so well more than a bit above expectations,  I also wish them well and the very best under this new management.

Expecting five goals from a team that, in two encounters with the Super Eagles, won one and drew the other. In my own view, two goals was a perfect win for the the Nigerian side. Maybe you are looking at African football that existed ten years ago when it was dominated by countries like Cameroon, Ghana, Egypt and Nigeria. The continent's football space has changed, and unpopular countries like Uganda, Lesotho, Seychelles, etc, are playing quality football.

For now, the focus of the Super Eagles is not on winning the World Cup but on having a slot in the competition. All eyes are now on the game against Zimbabwe in Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Tuesday.

I don’t think getting a win against Rwanda alone will make them lose focus, their is no assurance yet that the super eagles will be qualifying for the World Cup, they will just have to take all their matches serious, and even the players knows that, any slight mistake from the super eagles, and they will miss the World Cup. The Super Eagles were superb in their last game against Rwanda winning by two goals to nil. They surpassed my expectations in the game with their performance. The normal result we are used to seeing is 2:1, 1:0 or 1:1 but this time was different, they won comfortably with a clean sheet. Good job to the Super Eagles and the new coach. We will assess the teams consistency in the next game to see if they will be able to maintain the same result and performance level.

This is just the point sir, in the presence predicament that we are right now, our hopes rely mostly on the results not about performance, so we can't afford to draw or lose, so it's either all or nothing, because at this point that our super eagles are right now, we have to win, wether it's done ugly or not because the three point is the most important thing in other to have hopes of qualiifying for the world cup .

One thing about our super eagles that has been happening over the years is this harbit of putting our faith in someone else's hands, and most of the time we have failed to qualify for the world cup, it's because we were not serious from the very beginning, when things has become difficult, that's when they will start being serious, and they will be doing calculations after winning, hoping that this or that team can lose or draw, which is really not ideal in my own opinion.

For me am very confident that the super eagles won't disappoint in this game against Zimbabwe but the issue for me is actually the Benin team because even as the super eagles are winning their games it would help a lot if they too can drop some points along the way cause the table is very very tight as South Africa,, Benin and Nigeria are going to tussling to get that qualification slot.

Setting a price to win Nigeria isn't anything cause the Nigeria boys too themselves know what's at stake won't be so careless as at to let thier guard down to be beaten by the visitors.

It seems that the bookmakers are not taking the Nigeria squad very seriously, but rather are looking at Nigeria's bad past performance, who has not yet won in this group, while Rwanda only has one defeat. The last time Rwanda played against Nigeria, Victor Osimhen and other good players played and still Rwanda win.

A lot is at stake for the Zimbabwean team, if their government will promise each of their players $10k each to humiliate the eagles at home. I believe this is a bigger test for the super eagles and their new coach that what happened with Rwanda, wasn't a stroke of luck. When the supper eagles decides to get it right, they do get it right. I would say I enjoyed the way they handled the game today. It was a proud day for the nation especially when Victor O did net the last goal, the finish was one of the best and that through pass was all that started it, had a clean first touch and all that was left was beating the goalkeeper with that jab on the ball. I didn’t expect that from him but, he executed it perfectly.

You see, the worst mindset to have in a competition is belittlement. The moment you belittle your opponent, the are chances that you lose woefully to them. The Nigerian national team players are sometimes laggy and that has cost them alot in the recent years.
