I swear, i am with you on this. At times the Super Eagles cam be very disappointing. Rwanda has a good team so we should not underestimate any of the players even if we have one of the best defenders doesn't mean they cannot score against the Super Eagles.

Honestly it was a wonderful performance from all the African teams that played today. Congrats to those who won, and to those who shared points they have another chance to redeem themselves to get a better point in the second leg.

If the Super Eagles play like they do, they will lose. The need another kind of motivation to play. I just checked the table and Rwanda is second on the Group C standing. Guess where Nigeria is, number 5 , just before the last number. Rwanda already has 7 points while Nigeria has just 3 points. This one is not even about the new coach anymore. This one in my estimation is about the individual players being self-motivated and disciplined on that pitch. This is not even about the odds that the bookies have given to Nigeria. It is about them saving us.

Rwanda is a respectable team especially when you see their previous results. Super Eagle is for sure one of the best teams in Africa, yet their main problem is consistency and the implications of players in professional leagues in Europe. They are under performing from what I see and this is applicable for most African teams, except Morocco maybe.
Regarding the matches played so far, I am mainly disappointed from Cameroon. It used to be a hard opponent in the past and one of the main rivals of Nigeria..

What I have really observed about African team lately is that consistency is their biggest problem, just look at the kind of inferior team the Cameroonian national team drew with, that alone shows how most of this African top teams has declined in form and in capabilities.

As for the super eagles game against Rwanda, it's a must win game if we want to stand a chance to qualify because as it stands now our destiny is out of our hands, we are going to be relying on the results of the other games with I don't think it's a good position to be in for a top level team as the super eagles, considering the kind of teams in our group, so anything short of winning this game will be a disaster for us , so a winning is a must  regardless of if we are playing away from home or not.

I should be confident with the players we have, they all look fit for the game and trust to see the best of what they can deliver, from the media highlight the players promised to give in the best, tomorrow determines to whatever was promised, i support the Super Eagles to deliver an outstanding performance and an easy victory.

I have been looking at Alex Iwobi's socials, and from the videos he has been posting in the last couple of hours, the Super Eagle players appear to be in high spirits for the game. It could be from the influence of a new coach; I hope it reflects in their play.

It will be good for our new coach to win his first game; I in fact want him to.

You know it always hurt to see our country always pressing calculator whenever we are playing qualifiers for big tournaments like the world cup. They always put the nation in a tight spot and I wonder if this will ever stop. The NFF knew very well that we didn't qualify for the last world cup instead of them to put the team in a good shape on time, they started doing trial and errors to see how to manage things, and now it has landed us in this difficult position. If in the end Super eagles didn't make it to qualify for the world cup, I won't blame this new coach, because he was brought in at the odd hours. From the training sessions I have seen so far they are doing good, but as we all know that training is usually different from competitive matches. As a Nigerian all I can do is wish the team well, but I'm not expecting more from them at this time. The coach is training with the team for the first. So we shouldn't be expecting much at this early stage of his time with the eagles.

Of course Rwanda is a very respectable team now, their performance is not bad now and they are going to give the Super Eagles a tough time definitely. If Super Eagles don’t improve their game then they will surely find it difficult to win against Rwanda and it will it will affect their chances of qualifying for the World Cup. Nigeria might be one of the best teams in Africa but they are not living up to that standard anymore, they draw matches that they could have won easily and that is why a lot of people don’t have trust in them anymore, even when they play against a small team people don’t rely on their winning anymore because of their inconsistent performance.

Cameroon should have won their game but I guess things can’t always go well for you as planned, I am disappointed in them as well but then the draw is not so bad.

if you are following up on other continental football, you should understand that sometimes, it is not about which team is popular or which has the greatest fleet of players that determines the result, continental football can be unpredictable. look at France losing to Croatia and even Belgium winning just one game in the last nine matches they have played when they have KDB, lukaku, and a lot of other great players in the team. same is what our super eagles are facing.

As for the Super Eagles game against Rwanda, it's a must win game if we want to stand a chance to qualify because as it stands now our destiny is out of our hands

with the kind of expectation we have from the game, certainly, our players are already pressured to win this game by all means and that might affect their performance and the way they hope to stay calm throughout this game. anything short of a win is a bad result but if we are not able to get this win, there is nothing we can do about it. for a team that is topping the table and is eager to qualify, believe me, they will do everything within their power to get a good result from this game. while we hope for the best for the Super Eagle, the reality at hand is that this is not going to be an easy game for both sides.

It has been long since we have joy from the national team and without them giving us that winning like we all wanted I don't see any way that joy will come like we hardly celebrate to the end of every game these days, this qualifiers has been very tough for the national team and I wonder when they make the draws and we'd be seen as the favorite in any group we're in because as it stands I don't think the super eagles are the favorite and we can't face any team for them to trembling as the game is about to start, what are we not doing right? The Super Eagles of Nigeria are dominating Rwanda in the first half in retaliation of a 2:1 defeat they suffered in their last meeting so i hope they maintain the score and possibly score more goals in the second half so they don't experience any drama in the end. Though despite that the Super Eagles are gaining more possession in this game but the game is very boring to me because there is no force in the attack of both teams. Victor Osimhen did a nice job by putting the Super Eagles ahead before half time, hope this game don't turn to one of those matches he puts so much efforts and in the end it ends in disappointment. I like the coordination of the Nigerian team but until they win in full time, we can't completely compliment their efforts.

Edit: just as i was typing, the Super Eagles scored another goal by Victor Osimhen to make it a brace in half time. Seems like the Nigerian skipper will record an hattrick in this game because his energy is topnotch. As it stands now, the morale of the Super Eagles has been boosted which will enable them play with much confidence in the second half and secure all 3 points, well-done to the team for a progressive first half.

Victor Osimhen diubled the lead in the first half stoppage with a perfect spinning over the Rwand goal keeper to give the Super Eagles more hope in the game.
The second goal gives Nigerian hope of going away with the three points which will boos our confidence in the World-cup qualifiers and winning this match will help the Super Eagles in their next match against Zimbabwe because the players will have more confidence to get the three points in that match also and if the Super Eagles of Nigeria gets the six points in these two matches, they will be confidence in other games.

Victor Osimhrn is indeed a leader in the Super Eagles attacking line, his presence means a lot to them because they are all playing at ease since he is struggling to make things work for the Super Eagles and this is showing that with him in the squad, we can defeat any team because our defense is solid and the midfield are also trying.

Victor oshimen is on fire and he has really shown why he is one of the best players in the world as he has been fantastic in the first half scoring two goals to make it 2:0 for the Nigerian against Rwanda his second goal was something else as he sipped the ball pass the goal keeper this is one of the best goals in this international break so far that I have seen, nice performance by the Nigerian attack.

Moving into the second half the Nigerian coach should do some changes in the team especially at the midfield because I can see that the Nigerian midfield is porous and is really lacking in terms of quality, Nigeria should improve on their first half performance especially in holding on to the ball the opposition team was holding on to the ball for too long

I just can't express how happy I am right while watching this ongoing match between Rwanda vs Nigeria, as we take the lead with 2 goals to nill, which was scored consecutively by Victor Osimhen at 11 & 45+3 minutes into the game respectively. Because to be frankly speaking, Victor Osimhen seems to have been over prepared with this game and hopes to see Nigeria qualify into the 2026 world cup, which is quite a brilliant idea if he and other players such as the likes of Alex iwobi, Ademola lookman and Victor Boniface could work collectively. Because if am to judge what the outcome of this match will be, there is a higher tendency of the Super Eagles of Nigeria to score more goals, as they seems to have the most ball possession and shots on target.
