Victor Osimhen who is one the f rye best players in the Super Eagles and Galatasaray Striker has vowed to win the best player award in the 2025 AFCON. And this statement from him shows that he is going to do well in the tournament.

To begin with the team doesn't have only him as our quality player, we have our very own Lookman that's still delivering incredibly numbers for his club side and he's going to bring that form home. Osimhen isn't doing bad either for his club side but he shouldn't think the team revolves around only him again. We're having a balanced team that has many talents. There's also Boniface but he's yet to reach his full potential for the super eagles. I wish Osimhen to do well in the AFCON and not the average performance he has being giving to the super eagles. I understand injuries hasn't favoured him but he needs to do the job at home before he gets forgotten. I still believe Lookman is capable of winning the AFCON men player of the year again, I mean look at his stats.

Yes but I looked at his bursting to do well in the tournament. And since he has said so, he will do his best to attain the award. When a player challenged himself like this, he will do well and when others have seen his bursting words then they will like to challenge to take the award so there will be a competition among players to do well to take the award so with his challenging himself others will follow up to do well and they will go far in the tournament.
Definitely we all know that he can't do well without his teammates. Lookkman and Boniface and others are also there for the award and I like challenges like this because it will make players to do well.

You are correct, the chance is very slim TBH, the Nigerian national team is hardly known for consistency, so they really have to find it from somewhere and pull off the improbable. That said, we the supporters cannot do anything other than to give the team our full support, especially in the home games, if you live in the state the match is being played or in nearby states, you can make your way to the stadium and throw your weight behind our boys.

This isn't the first time that he's saying exactly those worlds, Osimhen is a boost full players that likes to put himself in the spot light. He's just like Ronaldo, always calling himself the best even when (at times) he isn't. In the squad at the moment, the star player is Lookman. There were some agitations by some ex-internationals and sports analysts that the NFF should reconsider the appointment of Eric Chelle as the coach of the Super Eagles. For now, nobody can do anything because he has been unveiled today. Our only option as Nigerians is to give him all the support he needs.  Who knows if he would be successful with the Nigerian team even if we know that they are more qualified coaches than him in Nigeria. Please, are talking about upcoming matches of Super Eagles to be Congo, Senegal, and Sudan? If you are, I don't think the Super Eagles will be playing against the mentioned countries teams you mentioned as their upcoming matches.

That being said, if I should analyze your thoughts of Super Eagles facing off against Senegal, Congo, and Sudan, this is what I could say about it.

The truth of the matter is that the Super Eagles are not the country team you would think to have their matches won, they would consider it done as predicted. The Super Eagles are always fond of, when hope is placed on them, they end up leaving everyone disappointed.

I wouldn't lay much hope on Super Eagles for the three mentioned countries teams (Senegal, Congo, and Sudan) not to give the Super Eagles tough times in winning or drawing with them.

Is there any other league the super eagles will play a part from the CAF qualification?, because those teams SatoPrincess is mentioning is different from the ones on the league we are waiting for. However SatoPrincess is right about Senegal if playing with the super eagles, though I don't no how the Senegal has been after this years and if they could still have their thing on the super eagles because for sometime now the both sides has not been featured together or play any match but as for Congo they don't need to meet first because the eagles will win them and also Sudan but unfortunately they may not even see each other's till the end of the league.

Hurriedly? We have not had a manager for months now, all we've had was an interim manager and the NFF has been looking for a permanent manager. We would have had one earlier if Labbadia's deal didn't fall through due to tax issues. I don't understand what the problem is right now, it is the NFF's duty to appoint a manager, for example, do Chelsea fans question Todd Boehly when he appoints a new manager?

the arrangement of teams in this order is quite impressive and gives an open chance for the big boys to show dominance in their respective teams and surely, the group stage will be very much easy to predict. same way Nigeria looks comfortable to play alongside Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania, other big African teams like morocco, Egypt, south Africa, Senegal and Cameroon will still comfortably come out of there respective groups and will then meet themselves in the next round which has always been the big deal in the AFCON.  for our national team, we have some important games before the AFCON kickstarts officially and with this new manager that we don't yet know how well he can cope with the boys, we will have to sit back and watch the way the boys respond to the world cup qualification which is an important task above every other thing we have at hand. there performance in the coming games we have will tell of there readiness to give us a good show at the AFCON. currently in football, no team is to be underrated just because the nation is not popular or that her players are not popular, that mentality does not work again and if we hope to get good result, we need to start winning games from now so we can build that winning mentality in the mind of the players right from this early phase.

These are the countries with the initials to control the table, their success in this phase is already considered a done deal. I should be worried about my country, with the new coach i expect to see a better outbreak than what we experienced trying to qualify.

All the group are fairly choosing because they put it the way it will be hard and also easy, so that when a team play against the stranger one they would also have the opportunity to meet with another of their level, so actually I don't no how they made the grouping Whether they carefully allocate the players to the groups or another method. However group B and group F is little of death group than the rest because only Egypt and South Africa in group B is already deadly while cote d'ivoire and Cameron is another terror in Group F but among all the groups there is no one the super eagles will not qualify, highest they will only loss some but definitely more win.

The last Afcon was one of the best i have ever watched, all the teams put up a wonderful show and the officiating was world class, even much better than Euro 2024, i hope Morocco 2025 would be even better.

Of course i will be rooting for my country Nigeria, we were runners up last time and i hope we can go a step further and bring the trophy back to Abuja again in January 2026.

Nigeria Super Eagles always played well in the group stage and making fans to believed that they will do well in the march but in the knockout stage they would disappoint the fans and come home. I don't even want to put much hope in the Nigeria national team because they will the impression of winning then disappoint everyone this is something they have been doing when last did Nigeria win any trophy it's been a long time, and even with the fact that we have an excellent players look at victor and others but we still find it very hard to be able to win anything. We are definitely going to give our support but they should also find a way of making us proud because after the whole support given to them and they fail to also give result no one is going to be happy. Nice draws for the afcon 2025 tournaments as all participating teams have known their opponents so they have to wait and prepare for the competition that will be coming up in December this year congratulations to all the countries that qualified for the competition because the qualifying rounds was not easy but tough one thing that I have seen about African football is that the game in Africa is changing fast and even the traditional small teams are gradually getting results against the bigger nations

From the draws that am seeing it usually two big teams in the same group with another team small teams but these big teams should not underrate any of these smaller countries because there can be upset in the group stages of this competition. One thing that am not too pleased with is the timing of the competition this competition used to start in January so moving to to December is something I don't fancy because these players needs to rest with their families for the festive season's

I have not heard this present squad won any trophy. Now, why the new coach need to find out from the team is to know the weaknesses of the team. Check the midfielders, strikers and the defend. Let them play with any local strong team in the country for him to know the areas the Super Eagles weak before going out to play with external teams. A good coach most cross checks those functions of a team and if any side is weak and he has to make changes or know who to play in the first half and the second half so that they can do well. And also know those players that are good but they can't endure full time and those who can play full time. These are some of the analysis need to be done before launching the team for the AFCON and the World Cup.

The last Nations Cup showed that the African continent is advancing in football in all ramifications. The sports facilities improved because we saw World-class stadiums and the fans were always turning up en masse. Some European sports commentators even said that European VAR officials should go and learn from those who handled the Nations Cup.

But I want to see a more quality play that will be less physical. African football seems to be more physical than tactical. Let's see more entertaining football and not that physical game where the sound of the whistle is sounded almost every minute because of infringements.

Nigeria just got a new coach that has not been tried. Regardless of how poorly the national team is been handled, you will always support your country. I just hope the Super Eagles will get the trophy this time after the heartbreak Nigerians went through in the last event.

We only can get hopeful, our performance so far hasn't stated any solid point to hold about the anticipated results.

Our country my pride aswell, we did struggle to make it this far, i only can believe rather than forsake being patriotic even if i see those who can repel us from reaching and conquering in the finals. Morocco is one big threat, Egypt, South Africa and Ivory Cost will also be a handful but i believe in my country, with our squad rating we should be the preferred nation to lift the trophy.

Just like how African matches has always been and how often years we have seen how they are, that's also how relevant they would be point out on the group, so actually you might be at the right pick for chosen Morocco on the group because even me I have flip all the country to no if there is any unique area that will not be of good for Morocco on the group A but the only result I'm having is the same as the first, so just like they are putting first on the group that's also how they would be the overall first, however the second one is contradicting between Egypt and South Africa but let me see if all the people here will say the same thing for Egypt. Côte d'Ivoire should be replaced with Cameron.
