Few weeks ago I accidentally sent 20btc worth of razorcoin to a riecoin address.. and everyone made fun of me when I requested the developer some how code something for the next update that would return my coins. I was emotional and was not thinking clearly or rationally and it was a stupid request to even consider asking. I know it sucks but sometimes you just gotta take the loss. At one point darkcoin got attacked pretty hard when a hacker stole a bunch of coins and used it to crash the price of darkcoin. In the real world if something goes wrong, you can't just jump in a time machine and make it right.
I think we just did bud...welcome to the future! Its called T E C H N O L O G Y! Yea but now no one can trust this coin. What is going to stop the developer from doing this again?

Isnt it quite peculiar that you invoke the "real world" here? If anything like what has happened here and at Mintpal could happen in the REAL WORLD, the actions and result would be identical... except for one thing: The perp would be sharing a jail cell with an extraordinarily hung 7 feet-250 pounds muscle man of intemperate disposition and a sexual incline towards nerdy hackers. In that REAL WORLD your stupidity -of a few weeks back- would still be a total stupidity though.

Just look at the buy orders in bittrex lol sooooooooo much panic here... oh ya i love fudding coins that ARE scams read my posts on uro lol
VRC is here to stay smoothie.. not sure what you are trying to accomplish here being a 'senior' member and all... you have the experience and knowledge you should know vrc is not a scam dude
I never said VRC was a scam. Get your facts straight. I'm a hero member...get that straight. My goal is to make sure people know that VRC is the rollback of all cryptos. Much like Paypal reverses transactions (i.e. chargebacks). sorry Hero but no one cares? oh ya prices are climbing im glad i went all in again at 31k, its 37k now Hero member *edit38.5k How is price an indicator of trust? Anyone can push the price up or down in these illiquid markets. Trust? you dont trust the devs? if they didnt do a rollback THEN i probably wouldnt trust them. nothing was lost here only a day if that of staking... I TRUST them even more BECAUSE of the rollback.. sorry Hero member you have nothing What happens the next time another exchange is hacked for VRC or a scam is perpetrated for VRC? Roll back? Don't make me laugh.

Please note, that this is not a case where a "huge amount of coins" are stolen. This has been 30% of the total volume, which would lead to disastrous stuff if not corrected. It was forking or die. Eth.

to all you haters/trolls imagine IF a rollback didnt happen..... AW SHIT all FREAKIN HELL would break loose... We would have trolls in the hundreds coming out from the dark and we would probably lose the battle. Prices would plummet, conspiracy theories would arise, Mintpal would be dead, devs would be getting death threats...
JUST IMAGINE IT AND TELL ME IF THE ROLLBACK WAS GOOD OR NOT!!!!!!

Eth. I do not think of theft is concerned. Mintpal encrypt the wallet password a second time. And im sure, Mintpal use irreversible algorithm. Right now they're fixing vulnerabilities and take harder measures. I guess trade opens recently..

Pretty much all the devs did was kinda save mintpals ass, but the coin is still going to suffer the same fate it would have if the hacker got to keep the 30%.

California is beautiful.. it just sucks people have to ruin everything. EDIT: and as for the military... they are just government leeches living off the tax payer like a welfare recipient.. but in this case they murder people. Cool story bro, you are just another dude that couldn't hack it in the military so you find ways to bash it. Pretty sure they take anyone stupid enough to sign up. If you work for the government you are a piece of shit but if you help kill/empire build for the government then you are the essence of shit. You know who serves? Servants.

Interesting and very valid point, actually we will have to see how they proceed to clarify this matter, not just reimbursing the affected people but also proving to the community that in fact an attack was perpetrated. Failing to do so might (and should) kill the exchange. Eth.
