The hardfork is done and the wallets are available for download.

Here's the step-by-step on how to do the update.

1. Do the backup of the wallet.dat and vericoin.conf (if you have this file)
2. Delete all files in folder leaving only the two files mention above.
3. Download the bootstrap file from: http://vericoin.info/downloads/bootstrap.dat and put it together in the folder with the other 2 files.
4. Download the wallet from http://vericoin.info
5. Install the wallet
6. Run the wallet and wait for synchronization

It should be known that first time opening the program it may take a long ass time to load, I suggest even maybe taking a nap as it gets everything in order.   At least that is what I am noticing.

I was emotional and was not thinking clearly or rationally and it was a stupid request to even consider asking. I know it sucks but sometimes you just gotta take the loss. At one point darkcoin got attacked pretty hard when a hacker stole a bunch of coins and used it to crash the price of darkcoin. In the real world if something goes wrong, you can't just jump in a time machine and make it right.
