Someone posted a rumor in the troll box about Chatturbate adding XMR as a payment option.

It's almost certainly nonsense, but anyone know anything the rest of us don't?

I am glad to see people buying Moneros. It is great thing to see the adaption.
Also probably soon should Risto's Monero fund start taking investments.
Once hundreds of millions of euros start flowing into the small market cap of Monero the price can do nothing but explode especially considering the scarce emission.

Wasn't your last post that you wanted people to dump Monero onto your bid orders at .001?

No it was not, my last post was something related to bitcoin.

That being said, I still want to buy Moneros for 0.001, this has not changed. However, I am unable to do so since the price seem to be against me in that matter.
But, I am happy for what I have and not to think too much what I do not have. After all, it is better for Monero that the price goes up than the dumpers feeding my greed to get more Moneros.

A bull run is a bull run (is a bull run)

Anyone care to speculate how high we are reaching this time?

To me it seems like sellers are buying back at -3, -5%, so noone is really selling, except the 3-5% of broken hands that don´t manage to buy back lower and are fuelling this rally

Bitcoin loans are now very affordable and as ETH bubble seems to be bursting there are plenty of bitcoins available now for margin long positions.
If you believe the price will rise faster than you need to pay interest, you might want to take a small long position...?

Indeed, this is the best way to wreck yourself completely, and lose all your monero, so that later when it finally does go up you can feel really terrible.

i have a small leveraged long position but nothing fancy, just for the lulz Wink

trading the swings with leverage can be helpful especially for the smaller traders. why risk 2.5 btc if i can have the same performance for 1 btc ? depending on the individual situation this can really make a lot of sense.

The market risk is the same. If you mean exchange/counterparty risk, then it might make sense (balanced against the interest rate).

I lost 4000 Monero on margin trading back when Monero was 40 cents each.  It hurt because that was like $1600 at the time Sad

Imagine how much more it hurts now that Monero is 4x the price.   Cry

Stay away from margin kids; it's not worth it.  Whales have bigger pockets and more patience than you.  Do you know how they make money?  By eating small fish like you and me.

I agree with you, even more in those tiny market with big fluctuation. If you use margin with tighter stops to risk the same amount of your equity, then it can makes sense, but whales here will make sure you get called or hit your stop.

That's exactly what I meant. Instead of playing 2500(* XMR of your own coins you can risk only 1000(* XMR and have the similar effects if you are in right position.
Heck, you get bitcoin loans around 3.3 % pa right now......

*) The numbers are just examples and depends on the amount you can afford to lose in margin trading, it is indeed riskier than playing with "real coins"
