If that's the case, have you considered posting in the forum's scam accusation board with evidence? I'd encourage you to do so if getting your money back is something you want. E-Coin/Wirex doesn't really have a great reputation when it comes to customer support and relations but as a service provider they sure as hell care about their public image. If they're indeed holding your funds hostage and aren't responding to your inquiries then this is absurd. Handling user funds responsibly is their one job and if they aren't doing it right pressuring them by going public might get your issue fixed faster.

Handling user funds responsibly is their one job and if they aren't doing it right pressuring them by going public might get your issue fixed faster. before putting up any accusations it makes sense to check whether they are real and grounded. Under no circumstances would E-Coin/Wirex "hold funds hostage". Response can sometimes be slower than it should be - yes, you are right there. On the other hand, "multiple support requests" mentioned by @akym are not really helping - it has been repeatedly advised NOT TO send more than one request on one issue, otherwise it causes confusion and delays. What is the registered e-mail, so that we can check the status of the issue? Please, send in PM

I think that we're in agreement, I was just suggesting to that user that accusations should better come with evidence.

I think that we're in agreement, I was just suggesting to hat users that accusations should better come with evidence.
After talking in PM with him, he somehow had the staff to answer my tickets... But this should be a clear warning to everyone that this is no way to handle a online business to have to make bad talk on a forum to be able to get answer on a damn ticket... By the way, my money still gone.. they are looking into it... they must wait answer from bank?? even tho the money deposited on the card clearly says ''failed transfer'' i dont understand what bank has to do with this... money failed to transfer to them... you are the one i deposited bitcoin to, not them, if you do not put money on my card then not touch my bitcoin... anyway!! Will wait tomorow to see whatsup.... I sincerely hope they resolve.

Is this normal not having the full details, can assume that you have used the card to pay in a currency different from the currency of the card. Visa/MasterCard charge a 3% fx conversion fee in such cases. Is that what you are asking about?

So if i purchase USD card and if i pay in USD on ebay and else there will be no fees? My other card issued from my bank, does not charge me when i purchase something in other country and in other currency, i have fees only when i pull money from the ATM. I have MasterCard. Thanks for the quick answer

I was in the process of ordering to the US and come to find out its not available. What about the virtual debit card? Would I be able to make purchases with a virtual card?
It's possible to do anything with that virtual card that you can do with the physical one (of course not withdrawing from ATMs) so yes you can make purchases online using the card . If the card is not available in your country then the same applies for the Virtual one as far as I know , using it would be against their terms probably so you may want to ask them first If you don't want to face any issues in the future.

Hello Gosha, could you please look at the ticket 26176. I am waiting more than one week for answer and still nothing there. On 24.11.2016 I deposited 0.700093 BTC in my account. The same day I wanted to send all bitcoins (converted to EUR) to my card, but unfortunately the transfer failed and those bitcoins did not appear back. They seems to be lost. Thank you.

Thanks for the quick answer Yes, if you use a USD card to pay in USD, there is no fx conversion fee. If you use a USD card to pay in EUR or vice versa, there will be. Your other card also has it, you probably simply don't get shown the fees by your bank, they are simply included in the exchange rate.

neither plastic nor virtual cards can be issued to US billing addresses, that's a limitation of our card issuing bank. Technically you can order a virtual card to an address in a different country, but it may not work with some sites that require US billing addresses - that would be on case by case basis

Hello. Sorry for the inconvenience. I checked your ticket with the support team, and they already answered you. I regret to inform the card issuing bank rejected your application. I am very sorry for this situation and Unfortunately, there is nothing to be done about that. The card has been cancelled. We would provide you the refund within next 2-3 business days.
