They will invest and as soon as the coin hits the exchange their investment will loose value because all presale investors will sell their bonus tokens to take their initial investment out. Dont you think this will happen? Why did you set such a high bonus?
I dunno where you come up with your theory about regular ICO investors getting scammed. There's a staircase like bonus structure and majority of the investors will getting in during the 100% bonus window to maximize their yield. Even icos with little to no bonus crumbles on exchange. Excuse me for my wording, I agree that it was not the correct terminology. Lets rather say people who invest early will profit on the backs of late investors. A staircase like bonus structure is okay, but not with 100%. I would say 50% downwards would be okay. But even this can have bad affect on the price. Its just my two cents on this matter, I would not invest in an ICO with this kind of bonus structure. |

Yes certainly I agree with that. There are already several platforms offering smart contracts and there are more coming up that will bring unique features and more security measures in place. ETH already suffered with the DAO hack, so there is definitely a point of vulnerability there. However I think that this space also has enough space for several players. Different blockchains with different smart contract benefits could coexist in my opinion, but its sure that there will be stronger and weaker ones, and surely only one will reach critical mass at some stage. |

At this stage, it's safe to say, POWR paired with BTC has died and will not recover, ever. Everyone is cashing out now.
By recover I mean, that if you have traded BTC for POWR like almost everyone and invested at around the peak of 8000 - 11,000 satoshi, you will need to consider that as a permanent loss.
The problem is not just the low media attention and interest that POWR gets, but the fact that POWR was mainly traded for BTC rather than USD, and with BTC now being at $18,000 and expected to go as high as $100,000, the value of POWR paired with BTC will decrease even more.
If BTC will hit $40k by the end of the year, POWR will be as low as 500 satoshi.
I must admit, Im quite unsatisfied with my misguided investment in POWR. With BTC surging to new highs every other day, I kind of feel uncomfortable while holding POWR now. As you said, if Bitcoin continuous its journey this way, than POWR will be valued at way less satoshis and therefore it will result in a permanent loss. I bought the peak and am already at a 50% loss by now, but imagining POWR to go down to 500 Sats would be a catastophe for me. I sense that this would end up like my SIA investment where I also bought at around 400 sats and was just declining more and more eversince (besides of the one spike to 700 sats, where I unfortunately didnt sell). I wont be this dumb this time and might sell at least 3/4 of my POWR now, If Bitcoin goes up more, I can still buy in again with some of that money. |

Bitjob ico was successful and they raised enough money to develop the project. I think after every ico was doing the same and it will take some to develop the things they mentioned in the roadmap. Thanks for the replies guys! Great to hear that BitJob will become a reality. I also think that 8000 ETH is a good amount to start developing. After all ICO's always set very high hardcaps that they actually not neet to start development. Looking forward to see where BitJob is going, Im monitoring this project again now! |

I don’t think so there will be even a single person who is going to doubt the bright future of bitcoin except for those who are the creator and supporters of some shifty altcoins. The way bitcoin is increasing in value day by day, it is going to soon beat all the evergreen traditional mode of investments. Bitcoin should be made legal as soon a possible by the states who want to flourish economically.
I pretty much support your stance and indeed there is no doubt in the secure and shiny future of the bitcoin. Bitcoin is ruling the crypto market at present and it is soon going to be the only sued international currency of the world. I am so sure about this because people are using it for online shopping, for clearing their bills etc. and the legalization of this currency by developed states is also playing good role in the development of bitcoin. Yes, I can agree to most of those comments here, but I dont think that Bitcoin should be the only cryptocurrency on the market. Of course Bitcoin is king and will remain king. No doubt on that. But there are also many other cryptos that are invented to solve different needs. I think we are now just at the beginning of a broad ecosystem of tokens and coins that are used for the most different things we can imagine. We are not yet capable of imagining what this will bring to our lives and how this ecosystem will develop, but it sure will benefit humanity and make the lifes of individuals better. Yes, for sure! Dimcoin is based on NEM technology and should walk close... So will that mean due to the falling price of NEM, will that mean trouble for DIMCOIN? I suppose so, using the same logic as above. No, as far as I know the price of NEM should not affect DIM at all. Dimcoin is only launched on the NEM blockchain, but they are not dependant on each other as far as I know. Please correct me if Im wrong. I guess what Thifruck meant was that if NEM manages to create a hype than it is likely that Dimcoin will be positively affected by that hype due to its connection to Nem, so maybe people would also start to buy DIM, but if NEM goes down, doesnt neccesarily mean that Dim holders are gonna sell. A different scenario could be that there are really bad news for nem that would affect the functionality or security of the NEM blockchain ecosystem, in this case Dimcoin would be affected as well I guess. |

You didnt follow the most important rule for investments in crypto: buy low, sell high. But joke aside, I guess there is nothing to worry about, crypto is a heavy volatile market and there will always be dips, corrections and even crashes. But as we are still in the infancy of cryptocurrencies, it pretty much certain that your loss will recover and you will end up in profit. Just dont panic and hodl. This strategy has payed out for pretty good so far. Well i got in at a very good price compared to the current value so im still plenty positive with the plan to ride this wave through the fork. i guess i should rephrase my question to how does gembitz have the inside scoop and is it accurate, or are these just dreams and hype with an exit strategy thats more intelligent than mine Good on you then, enjoy the profits! Cant answer you this question though, maybe he can share his wisdom with us what makes him think that we will see those prices. As far as Im concerned, we can all be happy with the current price development of EMC2 and its likely that there is more to come towards the end of the year. |

Still not much movement on Ripple these days. Im still waiting to buy in under 20 cents. Im speculating on this before it makes another jump, but these markets are just unpredictable nowadays. After what happened today with NEM Im scared this could also happen with Ripple as soon as there are some little news coming. From the wording it doesnt seem like it only applies to Bitcoins but to all cryptocurrencies. This is already a problem at the moment because people are already going to jail for trading assets with cash.
Can you evaluate a bit what you mean? In what jurisdications are people going to jail because they are trading crypto for fiat? Or do you mean by this, that they trade assets for cash to evade taxation somehow? If so, then I also think that this should be punished. Crypto cant be a law free heaven for all people that want to evade taxation, if it was, it could never grow to mainstream adoption, and this is what we all want to happen I suppose, so we need to make arrangements with the governments, thats for sure. |

I think that the risk of a bubble is still the same as it was eversince people started to invest in crypto. However even if Bitcoin is a bubble, its one that is supposed to stay. Blockchain technology is real and cant be wiped away again. Bitcoin can crash, but the tech and the advantages the distributed ledger technology brings to various industrys and to people in general will stay and therefore it will recover sooner or later if a crash happens. Im very confident about Bitcoin and blockchain tech.

Great to see NEM finally breaking the ~$20 cents mark! Can anybody tell me where this sudden price jump came from? Was it because of the news of WeChat integrating a wallet that will support NEM? I wasnt sure if this news were true or not.
But even if this now only was a pump and it will go down again to maybe ~$30 cents or so, with Catapult release, the new PoI algo and (maybe if its true) the wechat integration, Nem will land on much higher grounds, thats for sure!

Hi guys, does DMD have anything to do with real diamonds or is it only called Diamond because the coin is scarce and therefore as valuable as a diamond? Im really into precious minerals and would like to obtain some diamonds. Both would be great a real, physical diamond as well as a digital diamond. I have already been collecting precious minerals since I was a kid and got a pretty big collection so far (also some really small diamonds, but none of real value unfortunately).

You might be right, actually this is the case with most precious minerals nowadays, not only with diamonds I guess. If I understand your question correctly you are asking which of those coins will come out as the strongest at the end of the year. I dont expect any of those to double its price till the end of the month, but in these markets anything is possible, we should have learned that by now. I can see IOTA to double its value again, due to the recent hype it created.

Binane came up as a decentralized exchange platform and it gathered tons of users during the last months. It proved itself in this field and it will be the start of dex trading in the future most probably.
I actually joined Binance because it was aiming at becoming a dex one day. Are there any news regarding when this might happen, is it planned for one of the coming years already? I think decentralized exchanges are the future of cryptocurrency trading, its just the rational next step, and it will take over sooner or later, I strongly believe in that. |

Is there currently no STX volume on Bancor Network ? Or is coinmarketcap wrong ?
probably they can’t get the API, bancor have a lot of problem lately due to the ethereum network congestion, Bancor should be on their own blockchain.... I dont know if this is technically possible with the goals that Bancor pursues, but if it was I agree, at the current state of affairs it would wish for Bancor to be on its own blockchain too. I guess many projects are being shown the limitations of the Ethereum network these days and might reconsider if the Ethereum blockchain at its current state is up to their business model. Time will tell, I hope that ETH fixes the scalability issues as soon as possible and get back to normal working mode. If you want your transaction to go through you have to set at least 40gwei at this very moment. |

Hello there, the marketplace will be opened in normal mode in this month already if I remember correctly. Is this information still up to date? If it is, when will this happen, is there a date already?
Another question I have is in general about the marketplace: whats the difference between normal mode and black friday sales? Will people still make a discount when they buy on the regular marketplace mode? Or is this kind of the same as buying in a retail store?
I also have a question regarding your token: PLC is a utility token as far as I know, right? If so, doesnt it become a currency when we use it to buy goods on the marketplace? So its somehow a hybrid-token isnt it?
