1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qatar Bans CryptoCurrency on: January 07, 2020, 04:39:40 PM
A ban on crypto exchanges and financial services and no ban for cryptocurrencies itself? If they are trying to improve their anti-money laundering provisions than this is the wrong path to take.if they want to have the control if the market itself Ithen the best way to do that is to regulate the businesses related to it like what other countries are doing with their KYCs and other regulations set in place to avoid crypto-assisted crimes.
1002  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multiple red tagged "Duckdice" have launched "Towerbet" on: January 07, 2020, 03:04:12 PM
I only see a neutral feedback coming from Coolcryptovator. So any DT members here would like to share their opinion on this matter?

That indicates Coolcryptovator is not acting like a nanny around and is a stable minded person who judges a situation in more realistic way.

Based on their new unmoderated ANN thread a lot of users are eager to join the casino already and I think that's not what we want to see from a DuckDice related website.

What do you think they have done to split this shit on them and not let them operate here ?

For you kind info, the issue here is already resolved by them.

You might have taken my post wrongly I'm just asking for the opinion of others in this case that's why I am asking them on what's their position on this and why they haven't done anything. I like how Coolcryptovator have approached things as well as he is just merely assessing the whole situation here and not being judging them all to quickly just by their relation to DuckDice.
1003  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multiple red tagged "Duckdice" have launched "Towerbet" on: January 06, 2020, 08:19:22 PM
Usually things like this where a shady project/casino opens up a new project/casino they'll automaitcally get a red tag just for the connection alone but I'm surprised on why towerbet is not yet painted red by DT members here and I only see a neutral feedback coming from Coolcryptovator. So any DT members here would like to share their opinion on this matter? Just to clarify things. Based on their new unmoderated ANN thread a lot of users are eager to join the casino already and I think that's not what we want to see from a DuckDice related website.

Thank you everyone for the reply.

So for cryptotalk we have to wait for 30mins. Rest there is no restrictions

Technically there is no “rest” in between posts you make but obviously in the eyes of any campaign manager it would be too obvious if their participants are clamping all their post in a short period of time which just abuses their campaign. Just put your mind in the eyes of a campaign manager or for any project funding the campaign, would you be happy if all your participants just post let say the rquired 25 posts in just one day? Obviously not, they are incentivizing your posts as a member here in the forum don't make it look like you are just here for the payment and act this out as a job you need to cram all in one short period.
1005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 06, 2020, 06:12:33 PM
Truly a disappointing match and comeback match for Zlatan and Milan. The team is still at it woth the habit of aiming the ball right to the keeper's hands, so many shots wasted just because they are too trigger happy in scoring a goal. The AC Milan fans cheered when Ibra is stepping on the field but you can see their happiness shrink as the time passes by. This season is still far from over and like any Milan fan I hope they are willing to spend more in this January transfer window.
1006  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Manhattan U.S. Attorney Announces Arrest Of United States Citizen For Assisting on: January 06, 2020, 02:22:48 PM
If it's proven then it's an extremely straightforward case. He went to an enemy of the US under almost universal sanctions and educated them further in how to evade them. It doesn't really get much more simple than that.

The nature of cryptocurrency and the nature of the DPRK's way of operating would make it a screaming no to me at least.

Well they have to prove that in court first and even with some accusations about Griffith renouncing his US citizenship and assets found in his home in Singapore it wasn't enough to convince the judge that Griffith doesn't deserve to post bail. That in a sense is a big step forward telling us that what the plaintiff have isn't that enough to put him in jail for a while, he was even allowed to use his passport domestically to meet his lawyers. If they only have a video of the actual event Griifth held and heard and see what he is talking about I think that would be enough to nail him in prison.
1007  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold and blockchain Technology on: January 05, 2020, 08:42:10 PM
I don't think that the demand from these companies for these precious metals are really that high especially when you think about them having cost-cutting on their products for instance iPhones or Samsung Galaxies will tend to prefer more copper and aluminum build on their hardware and just a little bit of the rarer metals such as gold and platinum, here is an article on the metal composition of a regular Iphone product. Another thing why tech companies won't affect the prices of precious metals that much is they are keen on recycling their own products and recovering their resources to be use again, one good example for this is why Phone companies such as Apple, Samsung, HTC always have a trade-in deal for the consumers so that they can recycle their old phones and salvage these components. They won't simply just buy new supply of these resources if they could get it a lot cheaper or for free when they just get it from us.
Payo ko lang sainyo is before you believe in something and use it in your trading plan magbasavasa muna at i-confirm kung totoo ang balita or mini-mislead lang tayo ng mga website na ito.
1009  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Manhattan U.S. Attorney Announces Arrest Of United States Citizen For Assisting on: January 05, 2020, 05:43:38 PM
If it were down to nobility he would've gone to Liberia to pass on his knowledge to recovering child soldiers. Instead he went straight to the capital of a regime that does not have a great deal of love in its heart for where he's from and is known to be using crypto to prop itself up.

It'll be interesting to see what the actual story is. I'm sure many people would be curious to attend something like that. Maybe he was paid to be there and knew why he was there. Maybe he was simply lured into a conversation to hand over some knowledge.

I'm not saying Virgil Griffith is guilty but the judge already agreed with a bail and he also doesn't view him as a flight risk whatsoever he even has a clean record on had to convince the judge even more. Another thing that makes me don't jump into any conclusion is I know for a fact that the authorities in the US are having several kinds of these witch hunts for far too long to sense that on matters like this so I cannot say that the US is seeing things clearly here or they are just easy to accuse someone on things they haven't really done.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not being sold for $24,000 in Iran on: January 05, 2020, 04:11:45 PM
What can you expect from Cointelegraph actually being straight with the news? I think not, these news media websites feed on fear and noise to boost their traffic so I wouldn't be relying on them nor recommending them to anyone as a first source of my crypto news. At this poiny where we all are seeing are just threats from both sides I don't see a direct effect on both their commodities and fiat prices since threata doesn't directly affect the demand. But if things gets pretty serious that's when we see citizens and companies look for safe havens in the market.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 05, 2020, 02:21:49 PM
Brescia have been struggling to gain points in order to climb up the table from the relegation zone, and Lazio are trying to gain more points in order to catch up with Juventus and Inter Milan. I think the best result for Brescia would be to force a draw against Lazio today but Brescia does not have a good defensive record this season, so I think Lazio will not give up this good opportunity to gain 3 points in this match today.

That's the sad thing about Serie B teams being promoted in the Italian league they fail to keep up with the big money clubs even the mediocre ones in terms of spending that's why they fail to even keep up with Serie A teams. For you to see how bad the situation is the last successful team to be promoted from Serie B is Sassuolo and teams like SPAL, Empoli, and even Genoa fails to make a good impression in Serie A. Also from the trend I am seeing most of the star players they have are being sold after they are promoted that is why they cannot stay to be competitive in the league.
1012  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 strategies for crypto portfolio management on: January 04, 2020, 07:42:34 PM
Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) is probably one of the worst investment advice to be thought in the crypto market or for any market we have, you know why? Because with the method of having a fixed period and a fixed amount to buy an asset you completely remove the opportunity of buying the asset at it's best price, you are simply ignoring to have a margin of safety in your portfolio as well as minimizing the earning potential of your capital. DCA from what I know is just thought for newbies to have the right mindset on investing their money regularly in the market but the truth is it is one of the dumbest tips/advice you can hear from anyone here. If you simply want to maximize your capital do not buy regularly but buy them at its best price during that time.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 02, 2020, 07:50:24 PM
Haland maybe a good even great player for the next few years but as soon as he reaches to a huge team like Bayern on their nation or Madird/Barcelona or even Liverpool I don' know, a team that plays for champions league title, he will realize he is not a good role player at all.

What are you talking about? That Dortmund isn't a world class team and they are just some kind of top 5 team in the Bundesliga? Yeah they may finish the league inconsistently but during the last five years they have finished second in the table right after Bayen Munich during 2018-2019 and 2015-2016 season and it just shows that they can even be on par with the top team of their league. If Haland would like to prove himself I think he has one of the best teams to do so and he is on the perfect spot to test his skills, not because he isn't playing for one of the top teams in Europe he doesn't deserve to be seen as a good player.
1014  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-12-31] Countdown: Craig Wright’s 1m BTC fortune to be unlocked in hours on: January 02, 2020, 07:09:25 PM
I really didn't expect anything but another show from Craig Wright and his supporters. I know that this kind of shit will happen and they will have a lot of reasons why he didn't receive the 1 Million Bitcoin yesterday. I would expect that this will last for months of reasoning why he still doesn't have those BTC in his trust before this new naturally dies down. Maybe the next news we will be seeing is that the courier got the wrong address or he still thinks that it is still 2019 that is why there has been a delay on his part.
1015  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Potentially good project on: January 02, 2020, 06:06:59 PM
I've seen thiese “online farm” type of investment/schemes in a lot of times now the thing is there is really no farm backing up the investment there are no crops being grown no animals being raised all what is happening is the money of investors are being recirculated to pay them back. So really my main concerm about these types of oine investments is about transparency. You need to have proof that you do have a farm, you do have livestocks, and you are operating legally because without that you'll just be loke one of those HYIP sites scamming people.
1016  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust Suggestion on: January 02, 2020, 03:09:36 PM
It's already similar to what we have now. Like what LoyceV said we can already identify people who are being added into the trusted list thus becoming a DT member. If DT members feel that the new DT cannot be trusted all they have to do is to put that member's name into their distrust list. What you suggested will just complicate things to an already similar system with yours you will be forcing new DT additions to be put in different screenings which I think will be a hard one especially if you consider the biases involved on reviewing every new DT.
1017  Economy / Speculation / Re: What does this mean for BTC is stock market is entering recession again? on: January 01, 2020, 09:13:14 PM
Don't get me wrong on this one but a dissatisfaction of investors from another market doesn't guarantee that they will move to just a singular market which in this case is the stock market investors all shifting to the crypto market. There are still a lot of other markets to consider and I know conservative investors won't like the idea of their money going into a much more volatile market and will just look for other alternatives with similar stability such as the forex market or even in a mutual fund. Even if us crypto investors see Bitcoin and some cryptocurrencies as a safe have for inflation and noise from other markets most investors in a much more conservative market won't have the same view as we have.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 01, 2020, 08:18:43 PM

Comparing what a 34 year old Cristiano Ronaldo is doing right now in Juventus (did you see his head goal and how high he jumped?) maybe it really wasn't a great idea to send him away? I mean I get that dude was getting older and giving him a 4 year contract that worths god knows how much, it was wiser to just sell him and use that money on other players "financially", like it does make sense on paper for sure because he is getting older and taking advantage of that instead of keep playing him "sounds" good but thats about it.

What do you mean? CR7's move to Juventus wasn't on a free transfer basis Real Madrid accepted to sell Ronaldo on a fee around 105 million pounds which is really big considering the age of Ronaldo during that move. Also if you do mean that they have used that money for somewhere else then think again. During that season they have also bought the wonderkid Vinícius Júnior, the goalkeeper Courtois, and Odriozola. Real Madrid during that season didn't kept the money they have earned from selling Ronaldo they have actually used it on buying younger players and look at their future in the bigger picture.

Look, they are made a change of their team very fast

Mahmudur profile on fiverr https://www.fiverr.com/mahamudur6242
Short summary of his profile on fiverr:
Quote
I am an expert graphic designer and SEO. I am working in a renowned company as graphic design expert. I am very friendly you can ask me any kind of question. I am very honest to my work and punctual.

Probably a damage control on their part in order to save their scam project so I wouldn't be surprised if they would reason out that this is due to a mix up on one of their department uploading the “wrong” photo. Another thing I'll see coming is that the plagiarized whitepaper is due to it being “outsourced” from a third-party and their only fauly what not double checking it. Anyways I have supported the flag as I see no alibis or excuses conving me on opposing it.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McAfee in Trouble ? on: January 01, 2020, 05:44:05 PM
This is not the first time he was wrong with his prediction and this os not the first time that he made promises like this. If 2020 will end and his price prediction isn't reach (which will be likely) this day will come up like nothing even happened and he won't even mention anything about this. He is just one of those influencial people who are using their fame and not real analysis when it comes to determining out price predictions making their price targets hugle inaccurate. Because at the end of the day their reputation wouldn't change and a lot of people will still believe in what he is saying.
