1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: May 29, 2023, 09:27:24 AM
Finally, the fight every boxing fan has been waiting for is now sealed. I guess this is already 99% happening. Odds are already released as well.

Yes, the fight is official sealed by both parties, odds are showing that Spence is the underdog.

Still, I think Crawford is winning this match. As a matter of fact, to be quite frank, although this is a battle of undefeated fighters, I don't see this as a 50:50 match. I agree with the odds. Spence deserves to be the underdog. The last time he fought was more than a year ago. And then he had no fight in the whole of 2021. In his last few fights, he only had a UD against the two Garcias, Danny and Mikey, and only a split against Porter, who Crawford knocked out.

I think one of Crawford's advantage here is that he can adjust on the fly, he can fight both lefty and orthodox and majority of his fights are won because of that as his opponents can't adjust to this style. And then his sharp shooting, he has a knockout power and he hasn't been chin tested in his career. As compare to Spence who almost goes down against Ugas. And if Crawford lands that left hand, we will see if Spence can hold or will simply go down because of the power. And yeah, he fought more than a year ago so ring rust might be a factor too.

Even here in the forum, a lot of users are rooting for Crawford to win. Well, this is a good challenge for Spence.
As he knows that he's the underdog on this fight, he has strong motivation to seriously prepare for this fight.
This fight is a lucrative one for both boxers, and they will be earning good money no matter what.
The OP can edit the date to July 29 though, happening in Las Vegas, Nevada.

https://www.mmafighting.com/2023/5/25/23737604/terence-crawford-vs-errol-spence-jr-finally-official-for-blockbuster-july-29-fight

There is also an interview on Crawford stating that Spence told him that he took the easy route and fight Porter Jr. And then Spence calling Crawford too short for the 147 lbs and then him responding by pointing out that Spence is too fat, Lol.

So yeah the trash talk has started already since the official announcement of the fight. And whenever I check social medias like Twitter, either both or one of them are trending. And with that, it means it has now gathering steam and hype (again).
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 29, 2023, 09:11:11 AM
Miami Heat gave away a 3-0 lead against the Boston Celtics. Never before has a team that was 3-0 behind in the semi-finals managed to win it 4-3. And also an insane ending to the game itself, by the way. Miamia Heat got 3 free throws while trailing by 2 points and managed to throw them all in. Then with 0.2 seconds left, Boston scored on a Tip-in to score 2 runs and the win. Those are nice endings to a game. But now Boston can finish it off at home Monday night in Boston.

It's not just in semifinals, in any playoff games there's not team that comeback from that huge deficit and win the series.

Was really controversial lost by the Heat, just imagine with less than a second for a victory, all they have to do is prevent the Celtics to score. Anyhow, it's over now, the Heat should still focus on game 7 at Boston Garden if this still wanted to win this series.

Although the Heat remains the underdog, they are still a good bet in my opinion and maybe they can still pull this one out.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Garcia Vs Lara AUG 05 2023 SATURDAY WBA WORLD MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP on: May 28, 2023, 03:18:39 AM
Lara used to be known as a boring fighter but he has slowed with age and his fights have been more interesting to watch in recent years. I don't know who either of these fighters have beaten to be fighting for a world title at middleweight but I guess that is the privilege of being an Al Haymon fighter. I favor Garcia slightly due to being not as old and less washed up but I expect it to be a competitive match.

I think Lara is already wash up, yes he was known to be a boring fighter but that is his style and we could remember that he gave Canelo a boxing lesson when they fought and everyone thought that Lara did enough to win that fight.

But he is already old right now and not on his prime. So it's a good chance for Danny Garcia to become a world champion again if he beat Lara here. One thing that Lara has advantage is the experience and he is southpaw that might give Garcia a problem.
1024  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to the bitcoin rate if the global economy collapses in 2023? on: May 28, 2023, 02:41:25 AM
If the war between Ukraine and Russia is the reason for the speculated collapse that your thread is on, I tell you that the war may continue like this and the economy will go on surviving because last year it was said that Russia was going to get down on their knees as the sanctions started coming in and today Russia is still heavily prosecuting the war. I think this is just a fud and bitcoin is not any pressure from the effect of fiat shortage or high interest rate or unemployment which are indicators to recession.

We've seen that the war has no effect on the price of bitcoin and I doubt that the world economy is going to collapse because of that. The war has been what? going on for more than a year now and we can see that although the world financial market has been affected, we are still surviving though. It might be a struggle for some countries, but the good news is that governments are making their best effort to survived. And even if we have recessions now, we've seen the price of bitcoin going steady, from its lowest low of $15k to the price right now of $26k.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: May 28, 2023, 02:16:29 AM
^^ Not just fans, but even his former trainer Eddy Reynoso and even Canelo Alvarez had question Garcia's mentality in his boxing and trainer. But what he did? he separated himself against that great trainer in Reynoso and move to Goosen. Unfortunately, there is a fall out as well and for sure Ryan is putting the blame to Goosen for losing this fight.

However, if this trend is not going to stop though, James is a great trainer, he had trained a lot of elite boxers like Spence Jr. and turn him into what he is right now. But as we have said, it's the attitude and the hard work and perhaps that what lacking in Ryan Garcia and I do agree that he might not reach his full potential if he won't give his 100% on his training.

He cannot accept the fact that he have other boxer in the same training camp that is more prioritized than him. In the first place, Garcia have already done the unexpected being the selfish boxer who have wanted all attention directly to him but Reynoso brought to him the reality, which made Garcia leave the camp.

By now, he probably has some lessons to learn because everyone cannot be that special especially if we're still at the bottom. He should know how to humble himself in times like these as he is the one who has more needs, he will not be favored if he will always act like he owns everyone and everything, and doesn't want a trainer that have other boxers to train. Reynoso have already said Garcia's traits and in every camp he transfers into got the same words to tell, so the problem is really him.

For sure, based on the pictures being circulated now with Ryan on the side of his new trainer, he could have been taught new trick, very different from Goosen or Eddy Reynoso's trainer method. The thing is that he is with a black trainer now, maybe there could be some sharpening of his defense, like Ryan is plodding, slow moving with his fight. And we all know that black boxers are not known by this, they are explosive. Then Ryan's stance, I mean he uses the Philly shell that Floyd is known to used, so what better way to learn it thru a black trainer like Derrick James. Two of the most famous boxers that James trained is we all know by know is Errol Spence and then Jermell Charlo the unified 154 lbs champion.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 28, 2023, 01:39:46 AM
End of first half, Boston lead 57-53. It used to be a 11 point lead early when Tatum went hot with his signature offense in the first and second quarter. But the Heat comes back with their own run in the second quarter to close the game.

There were anxious moments wherein Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo fell on the floor trying to tip in the ball and Bam fell on Jimmy's knee. However, they both got up. Jimmy though needs to assert himself and score in the next 24 minutes so that they can close the series already.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 28, 2023, 01:21:14 AM
This is for Filipino boxing fans in this forum.

Tomorrow, PH time, Melvin Jerusalem will make his first WBO minimumweight title against Puerto Rican Oscar Collazo.

What makes this fight interesting is that Jerusalem is placed as the underdog against Collazo, who by the way has only six fights as a pro boxer. On the interview, Jerusalem said that he is motivated by the underdog tag and I'll bite that  Grin, so I'm placing a bet for him ML @3.51. Hope he will retain the crown and continue the streak of upsets done by Filipino boxers.

Weird, as a champion Jerusalem is the underdog here? I haven't check on Oscar Collazo record though but it doesn't make sense for a champion to be treated  by sports bookies as the underdog.

Nevertheless, it could be good though for us who are looking to support the underdog here.

And that ML, very attractive and hopefully Melvin again prove his detractors wrong but winning this first fight as a champion.

It's kind of make it confusing why Oscar Collazo has been the favorite while the Filipino champion has been tagged as the underdog, I looked it up and searched the record of this challenger and thought that maybe because of his KO rate of 66.67% while the champion have a much lower percentage with only 54.55% but still, it doesn't make sense at all. Well, maybe he's just overrated because of some reasons that we might not know but I pretty much doubt his existence to finish the Filipino's reign.

Yes, most likely because of his KO rate that's why he is the favorite in this fight. Nevertheless, Melvin is the more experience fighter here and he just won the belt. But we will see, sports bookies always underestimate Filipino boxers, but nevertheless when they show good boxing skills they might change their tune. So let Melvin proved his dominance in this fight and hopefully he will win by a knockout to silent his critics and then sports bookies don't doubt himself in his next fight. But on the other hand, backers and supporters of Melvin will be very happy to see him as the underdog because of a great returns if you bet on him even at Money Line.

1029  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: May 27, 2023, 04:39:23 PM
It is very difficult to accurately predict whether the bitcoin price will continue to rise or not. If you look at the recent crypto market situation, it seems that the potential for an increase in bitcoin prices is still possible. Moreover, currently the price of bitcoin is trading in the range of $26k-$27k. Therefore, it is better for you to hold your assets first and continue to monitor the market so that you do not lose the momentum to sell at even higher prices.
$ 25k to $ 28k is the range of the consolidated Bitcoin price, I'm still grateful that Bitcoin hasn't fallen from $ 20k,
meaning Bitcoin is still strong and has the potential to pump again,
yes the condition is that Bitcoin can be above $ 30k and hold it, then bullish will come,
I hope june marketcap can go up and make the market bullish again.

Yeah, before it can fall to $20k, we still have a support line at $25k, so most likely it will going to hold unless there is really bad news in the market and we can see a huge sell off, so far it's not happening as we just training sideways.

We already reach $30k, it's just there are speculators who sell because they are taking profits, so you can't blame them for that.

But in any case we might see $30k again, it's not that far, we ares still in the $26k this May although this might be the first time that we will see a red dildo in a month.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 27, 2023, 03:50:57 PM
With Boston taking two in a row it feels like the pressure has now shifted to the Heat. They do not want to play in a game seven against a team that just beat them three times in a row. This will probably be the hardest fought game of the series for both teams. Usually that means one team resorts to taking bad shots when they get behind and then a blowout. I’m just glad we get more basketball after a day off.

And they will be away from their home, against a hostile Boston Garden crowd, it's so noisy that you can't hear the whistle of the referee. So pressure for them and I would also say that it's a do or die game for them, they need to close out the Celtics and not give them another chance.

Even if this is on the home court of Miami, pressure is still on them. They've reach this far with Jimmy Butler leading them, it will be just sorry to see if they fall short after leading a 3-0 and not reach the finals.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: May 25, 2023, 09:40:29 PM
I voted for Any coins goes, stable or unstable.

In the beginning though, I usually play with only Bitcoin, but when we have this big problem in the past regarding the high fees, I switch to other coins like XRP (yes, I do used it before), and then ETH (power the PoS and when the fees are not that high), LTC (small brother of BTC and they are quite fast), and then USDT (my coins of stable coins).

So yes, it depends on the coins itself, but to be on the safer side, USDT is my choice right now.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 25, 2023, 09:18:27 PM
I highly doubt that Celtics could do anything to win, not just game based but the series. Why? Because not only they are trailing 3-1, you need them to win one more to put pressure on Heat, then another one if they can snatch a win, and then another one thanks to momentum... That's 3 games in a row and you are expecting Heat to just be dumbfounded during all this time? Obviously not, just a single game, one game where the ball doesn't drop as well as you hope for, and you got yourself a loss of the series.

I still think that Heat will end it tonight and we are going to see them get a few days rest, it is going to be an easy game for them and I do not see a way out of this by Celtics, no matter how much they try and how hard they work, it won't happen.

It will be very very hard for the Celtics to make a comeback in this series and win. The best I can see is this can win this game 5 while at home but Miami should be able to win game 6 at Miami. There is a chance for Celtics to win the series but it will be small, the current betting odds is at 3.15 for them to win the series. If there is something the Celtics can motivate, it would be to become the first-ever team in the NBA to recover a 0-3 deficit which will be a shame to Miami and makes the record more difficult to achieve.

Gabe Vincent is out for Miami in this today's game by the way. Butler and Spoelstra need to work on their magic once again to bring positivity and confidence to its cast of undrafted players. But I am not beating today, it's too unpredictable and the Celtics are still the favorites at home.

Bad news for Miami Heat backers if Gabe Vincent is out in tonight's game. He is one of those vital part of the team in this series and really doing everything in both end of the court.

But I do agree though that still Miami has the advantage in this series. Celtics will have to play perfectly in the last 3 games to make history (coming back from a 0-3 deficit). Celtics is still the favorite in this game, but just like in the past games, they are the favorite but can't hold it specially in the 3rd quarter wherein Miami was really pouring everything they got. And if the Heat win this one on the road and without Gabe Vincent? We should give credit to the adjustments being made by coach Spo.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: May 25, 2023, 09:05:15 PM

Ryan Garcia has a new trainer already,

https://www.britishboxingnews.co.uk/blogs/ryan-garcia-begins-training-with-derrick-james

And as what has been mentioned, it's Derrick James the trainer of Errol Spence Jr. And obviously we can see in the picture that maybe they are still already working. We have heard about the Spence Jr. Vs Bud Crawford fight so most likely this could be true as again pictures circulating already that Ryan is on the camp on board and might be introduce by James himself to the fighters he is trainer. But then again, it's the whole attitude of Ryan than can make the big difference.

I agree with that, it's still his attitude that will allow him to enhance his fighting skills, with a new trainer and a new set of people to
work on keeping moving forward after that loss.

Nothing to judge for now as we are waiting for the next update if he will have another money fight or if he will again find a cherry pick fighter to hype his name.

Something that we will need to wait, whether that change in training partners will benefit him or not.

Hopefully it is for the better this time because Ryan Garcia's talent will just be put to waste if he will not do anything to address his own issue that he himself created, he could've been among the top names right now if he have the dedication to be among those lists. Moreover, he already have the people needed for him to develop his skills and to be a much greater boxer than what he is previously, all what's needed to do is his presence and dedication to change for the better.
He has the potential and the ability to make it to the big leagues (I would even argue that he is already in the big leagues considering we are talking about him) but that attitude of wanting to always be in the spotlight has to go. It's one thing to love being a star and a celebrity because well, it's a secret dream that most of us wanted to achieve at some point in our lives but at the same time him skipping out on important affairs like training just so he can appear more in the camera is just going to cause him to lose more fights in the future. It may even be seen as him slacking off or "damaged" after the fight with Tank but he definitely needs to change his attitude and bring his enthusiasm to the game that made him famous in the first place.

Maybe Ryan should enter Hollywood then because he love the spotlight, he has the looks so maybe that should be the career he should focus. But in all seriousness, trainers can only do that much for a boxer, at the end of the day, it's Ryan against Davis inside the ring and Goosen or Reynoso can't help him. With that said, if he isn't ready for that big fight and he could have taken that tune up fight. But then again, he believed that he can beat Davis easy with that left hook on his which didn't even hit Davis because he knows that Ryan is going to throw it so he just simply duck and protect his chin.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be pulled by the hype of meme coins on: May 25, 2023, 08:45:07 PM

Chose to post this because a friend bought lovehateinu because he saw it in various websites but the reality was a dip than the presale price. I might be biased on my thoughts on meme so would be happy to hear our views on them.

I guess we have issues a lot of warning before, not just for this cycle, but on the previous one about meme coins because if you look at it, there are not really any use case for this project expect hype and greed and money for the creator and the people behind it.

But crypto investors don't want to listen, like your friend did, because they thought it's a get rich scheme but it's not. The only people that will get wealthy here are those groups, and then the pump and dump schemes of individuals. So again, let this be a warning to others, there could be another meme coins, like Doge, Shiba and even Pepe that will suckered everyone to invest.
1035  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to speed up btc transfers on: May 24, 2023, 09:36:08 PM
You choose the feerate of your choice when creating the transaction. On the mobile app, you cannot set the fees specifically, you can only choose from a range of low priority, medium or high, while on the desktop version you can choose the exact fee you wish to pay on the transactions.

If your enaked RBF - Replaced By Fee, you can bump the fee after you have sent the transaction, if it is delaying to be confirmed.

Part of the reason why I prefer the blue wallet than mobile electrum wallet. With the blue wallet having fee ranges calculated from mempool for confirmation in either 10min, 3hours or 1day, you can customize your own fee to a preferred one. The RBF seems on default doesn’t enabling except it was disabled before.

Yes, the default on Electrum for RBF is not enabled if I'm not mistaken, you just have to enabled it though.

You can also edit the fees manually. After you click "Pay"->click on the "Screwdriver icon". Then you can type the fees you want, based on what you see in

https://mempool.space/

So obviously, if you are not in a hurry and doesn't want to pay high fee then that is your choice.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 24, 2023, 09:15:01 PM
If the Celtics win Game 5 and 6, then I think we will have a game.
Definitely, we can say they might make history if that happens.
But, we have seen the Miami Heat play better on the road. They love the challenge and it gets them pumped up. I think what happened today is just them being too relaxed and forgetting about how it should be played in this series. We will see how Jimmy Butler will carry his team on Boston homecourt.

There's another factor too that I believe is partly the reason why the Heat was defeated in Game 4. Maybe the Heat was just too tired from playing aggressively and having a good defense in straight three games without having some rests in-between, that is why they fell out of bounce in the 2nd half.

Anyway, the way I see it, that might be the Boston's last game that they can own because the Heat on the road is still dangerous and that gives them time to rest too while traveling compared when they are having a back to back games.

Might be reason indeed because playing impressively against the #1 in the East will surely take toll on their body and enough of their energy as they are still humans like us although they are trained much differently from the other leagues in the world. To sum it up, it was a good run for the Celtics because they denied getting swept just like the Lakers, but I do believe that it was their last win as well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not underestimating the Celtics but given the situation we have now, it is clear enough to see that the Miami Heat leaded by Jimmy Butler have the upper hand in this series. It will be a tough one for sure to sack them but I bet the Heat can find a way to do that.

I think that is the best thing they  can do, denied a swept, and it also denied history as well. This could be the first time that we might see either finals conference sweep. Lakers swept by the Nuggets, and the Heat has a chance, but the Celtics hasn't lost 4 straight in 2 years and they did exactly that and prevent that history putting their team on that.

Anyway, no team has ever comeback from 0-3 in the playoff. So the Heat has a lot of chance to close out the Celtics. Maybe in the next game we might see it. They are now 3.45 underdogs and that kind of odds we want to see for the Heat. Maybe they didn't trash talk Butler this time and not 'poke the bear'.

^^ Yes, we are tired of hearing this news and having a date for this fight. So let's wait and see if there will be official announcement. I know that everyone gets excited when he hear news about this fight, but how many times that we heard and then there is no announcement?

Although it's good to hear that a name popup as a advisor for Terrence Crawford, we all know that he had no manager after he didn't sign with Top Rank. So that it a first hearing a name then in this negotiation.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 24, 2023, 12:06:01 AM
well, I already commented here that I didn't understand why they were putting the lakers as favorites in this game when it just didn't make much sense to me since the Nuggets proved to be much superior to the lakers in every game and history shows that in this type of situation is irreversible, so lakers players would not come to this game hoping to win to reverse this whole situation, at most they would come to play to comply with the schedule and also avoid humiliating defeat and also all lakers players would probably be more worried getting out of the game without injuries and thinking about the next season because everything was already decided

As for today's heat game against the celtics and the same situation as the lakers, I don't believe that the celtics will be able to reverse this whole situation and it's funny that in this game the heat is the favorite and the bookmakers are right, the heat clearly have an irreversible advantage, they will be playing at home and motivated, so all the celtics can do is avoid having the same humiliating defeat they had in the last game, so they will do everything so that they don't lose by a big difference of points , the odds for this game are good, the heat has an odd of @1.84 in case of victory, I am considering betting on the heat to win the game

It's because they are still in their homecourt, so bookies might think that it's a advantage. And it really affect how the players play on their homecourt. We've seen that the Lakers blew away Memphis and GSW at Crypto.com in their series.

But it's a different Nuggets team, Murray is healthy, Jokic is putting great numbers and the whole team is playing good defense.

Same with the Heat vs Celtics, the Heat is the favorite because they are going to play at home and they just defeated Boston Celtics with a huge numbers in game 3 as well.

Both are just hype though, so same connotations, but probably just different in shape. Just like what we have seen in the past, ICO-IEO-IDO and others, same breed and as soon as the hype goes down, then something new will come along way.

So there is a risk, and if anyone is willing to take that risk then so be it. At least you know what you are getting into and so you can't just bitch around after you invested on them and lose your money in an instant. You just been warned.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: May 22, 2023, 10:51:32 AM
How many times have you successfully invited some gamblers to online casino? What is your experience doing so? I know many will find this hard to believe but I kinda prefer bringing in gamblers than investors into crypto, why? They understood the risk already, there is no talk and talk over again, there is no dealing with someone fear and confidence..

I have successfully brought in four people into crypto gambling, and it was the easiest thing ever, they came asking if it's possible to use crypto for gambling and I said yes, but I told them that I am not ready to introduce any platform for anyone, but these guys then showed me there past gambles on a local website that only accept Fiat, that's when I got soft with them and I showed them the websites I use for gambling.

The thing is, they are small time winners and big time losers, I mean they lose more than winning, it's been two weeks and two of them tell me about their loss and gains, but they make it feel normal, to them it really is, not like the crypto investors today, always in hurry to double their money, some are even scared of investing in Bitcoin, which is the safest of them all.

For me it's the opposite, it's hard to bring in investors in crypto because admit it or not, majority of them are not technically incline, so that is one of the biggest problems facing newbies and most likely this is also why they are losing money to scammers and others who take advantage of their lack of knowledge on crypto, like what wallet this should used, how to protect their private keys and others.

As compare to bring online gamblers, yes, I too have earn money doing some affiliate and people playing under me so it's a passive income. Only just a couple of people though that I know, it's not that huge affiliate or something. And it's easy to talk to them, and obviously, gambling is very easy to learn as well as there are no learning curves.
