1061  Other / Meta / Re: Indian Sub New Moderator ? [Recommendations Welcome] on: May 16, 2018, 06:02:08 AM
I will recommend deadley or skang if they are still active.
Recommendations, if not followed by supporting points to prove they're a good fit are less likely to be considerable. As far as I'm aware, I haven't seen any of those members posting actively or never came across any threads which are inclined towards the 'well-being' of the forum.

Like I previously mentioned, we need someone who is active and know the existing issues forum suffers from. But that's just me.
1062  Economy / Services / Re: Need someone to proof-read Statement Of Purpose and Beautify it on: May 13, 2018, 09:30:21 PM
I'll do it for $100. Delivery time would be around 48 hours (ideally) however as I have other work I need to complete.

I've completed multiple scientific degrees at prestigious universities here in the UK, this is something I can do well.
Ahh sorry mate I need to get this done within 8 hours max.I'm totally fine with paying you 100 bucks but time is a big constrain for me.As of my I'm running short of options so I might just end up buying one of those online services using a credit card which I hate the most.
1063  Economy / Services / Re: Need someone to proof-read Statement Of Purpose and Beautify it on: May 13, 2018, 08:20:54 PM
I can do it. Let me know what you can offer as payment,

OP, this user has a history of not honouring the deals they make.  Please review their trust before sending any monies.
Obviously mate.Trust history speaks for itself.I would even consider it if they had some trusted feedback for any writing work they had done.

How much are you looking to pay for this service, and how many words is the document?
If you want this done right, I'll be here.
I don't know how much I'm suppose to pay.I tried a few online services where the estimated cost of getting this done by the Phd holders or experts is anywhere between 50-200 usd for thousand words (2 pages) document and with a delivery time of 5-8 hours.
1064  Economy / Services / Need someone to proof-read Statement Of Purpose and Beautify it on: May 13, 2018, 04:34:34 PM
Hi,I'm looking for someone experienced who is great at proof-reading, editing & beautifying a Statement of purpose for a University Application.Basically, you will get a SOP which has the content, it just lacks the sentence structure, use of sophisticated vocabulary and professional level editing. If you're someone who does it often, you will have an idea about the process. Please note,I don't encourage plagiarism or using free online tools to do the same.Only apply if you're good at it.

Also don't give me directions to use upwork or other freelancing sites because I will choose to pay a bitcoin freelancer over them.I can pay in Bitcoins as per your requirements.
1065  Economy / Gambling / Re: Have some questions about gambling licenses / incorporation 🎲 🎲 🎲 🎲 on: May 08, 2018, 09:15:08 PM
Great to see that, KYC itself seems shady because not everyone wants to reveal their personal information, I guess I shouldn't have a lot of problems if I launch without a license as long as the withdrawal ratings are good
Provided you do comply with the common terms like "Players from the United States are not allowed to gamble on our website".If a player hailing from the States, due to any unforeseen circumstances files a complaint against your Casino you might end up in trouble. That gives FBI the reasons to investigate into your private policies and being not affiliated with any licenses is like a loophole they will take the advantage of.
1066  Economy / Reputation / Re: Daneel bounty manager cheating in his own bounty on: May 08, 2018, 07:01:18 PM
Personally I believe participating in a bounty campaign you manage is a conflict of interest. You're already being paid to do the work, so there's no reason for you to chase tokens as well and open yourself up to bending rules to make sure you qualify for the bounty pay as well. It's called "double dipping"
Not necessarily. Most of the good bounty managers are paid in ETH/BTC and not the tokens for the bounty. Should they wish to participate in the bounties, they should be applying through the same rules as created for the other participants. For instance, if the campaign manager wishes to write a good blog post for some tokens,he should be allowed to do that provided he should judge his stuff rationally which is not the case here.
1067  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin & Altcoins Live Price Image generator on: May 07, 2018, 07:18:26 PM
This is really cool! I just tried my first image generation at http://35.226.164.123/image.php?coin=bitcoin&amount=123.So if you don't mind revealing your secret stash, how did you make it ? Does the image transformations happen on the fly or you fetch them from a server?
Either way,I'm happy to see such projects in this board.

It's probably pretty simple.

Just fetch the Bitcoin price from an API (i.e CoinMarketCap) and calculate how much the amount is worth, then create an image with this method1] or similar.

[1] http://php.net/manual/en/function.imagettftext.php
Ahh..I see! Never been a fan of PHP but this does sound extremely simple. So the 3rd party package is where all the magic happens. Great! Also I don't see the data being fetched from the server which actually confused me. Usually, my console or my terminal records all the API calls but when I opened the URL with the given params,I didn't see any network calls happening so I was a doubtful if it's happening on the fly. Thanks for the clarification.
1068  Other / Meta / Re: Joel_Jantsen's Merit Distribution Thread (Newbies Welcome) on: May 07, 2018, 07:12:45 PM
If that's the case he should announce it but I would still leave the thread open as there are many people lurking around and sending merits to users posting here.
Or have somebody else with enough merit take over....
I have a few sendable merits but been really busy a past couple of weeks to go through all the reports posted here and verify them to be merit eligible. Usually,I don't merit instantly but I do go through all of the posts on the weekend and merit them all at once. If a member didn't get a merit, that simply means they would have missed out something or their reports wouldn't hold much weight. Anyway, the reason I'm not locking the thread is because I know someone who genuinely supports the cause will give merits in my absence. On a side note,I have merited all the eligible reports right now.

1070  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Spreadsheet:--All Scammers listed here, Reply for add more scammers in sheet. on: May 07, 2018, 06:44:02 PM
- The tokens you sent him,are they tradable at any exchanges now ? Were they tradable at the time you sent them ? Literally, this sounds to me like you're giving him something which doesn't hold any value at the given time.I don't even know how did he agreed on the price of the tokens as $600 when they haven't even hit an exchange yet.

-  At this point, I don't see this as a scam involving potential loss but more like a scam which is to happen in the near future if your coins ever hit an exchange.
1071  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: zebi.io [Indian Scam ICO] Mastermined by Indian Tech Scammer "Babu Munagala" on: May 07, 2018, 06:35:08 PM
I have done deep research on Zebi and I would like to tell you guys that it's NOT A SCAM.
Opinions without facts don't hold any weight.Applies to you and the OP.Speaking of the OP,he is a well known Indian scammer know around here.Anything coming from him should not be taken seriously.

I haven't invested and don't wish to; but it's not a scam. YES, it does have quite a bit of misinformation around it where you find it being compared to ETH, EOS and ICON... But the team doesn't claim so ever... Shills like Suppo and Balina have hyped it to no end; but the team hasn't lied or scammed.
They're not a scam and that statement also doesn't mean they're very reliable with the investments. For a second,I would take them seriously considering their team members hailing from the Indian Institue of Technology.
1072  Other / Meta / Re: Meaningless and Redundant Topics on: May 07, 2018, 06:29:40 PM
There isn't much that can be done other than the merit system and tagging these morons when they screw up and get caught cheating or breaking forum rules.  OP, please report stuff when you see it.
I think the most easiest way to deal with that problem is by not paying for the posts in the redundant threads.Of course, the campaign they're in should be managed by a responsible manager who would put in efforts to make sure the participant doesn't post in such senseless threads and even if they do,they don't get paid.
1073  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need explanation if possible? on: May 03, 2018, 07:51:06 AM
Since you're so good with sarcasm in most of your posts,I'll just assume this is another sarcastic post at it's best and move on.  Wink

1075  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price checker windows app ?? on: April 26, 2018, 06:06:55 AM
No not wrong.. you're just a non reader and have no idea what you're talking about.
Non-Reader ? You can say that.I'm pretty sure what I'm talking about.Don't give me that "I wrote a windows app"  and now I'm the next big thing after Bill Gates attitude.I did misunderstood your post but I'm pretty sure my technical insights are correct. Also you know, people using Windows for "programming" is an instant turn down for me.

I wrote the app and single function means exactly that, single function. Its a GET tied to a text box for the URL of your choice.  you're expanding on the programming and saying it could have negative features, duh well obviously any app could have such a thing but that is not an issue of this thread because I was gauging response. If it was released, another capable member like me would vet it first and tell you if it had such a thing, which in this case would be 30 seconds since it's a single function 900kb standalone, it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to find a second hidden function is a 900k app.
"Single function 900kb standalone" - Lmao Mate,do you even optimise ? I can confidently say you're a terrible programmer if your single function can weigh a standalone upto 900kb.Maybe learn a thing or two instead of being the self proclaimed badass ?

1076  Other / Meta / Re: Should BTT start to use kyc for fighting against multi-accounts shit posts? on: April 25, 2018, 09:16:20 AM
If you searched Meta you would see this gets suggested every once in a while but theymos is never going to do it. The only reasonable way I can see how we could combat multi accounts is to remove signatures whether that be permanently or charge people a substantial fee to be able to have one. If the only way you could get one was to pay $500 or so it would eliminate farming all together and severely limit the amount of accounts someone could have to the amount they can afford. As long as you can farm accounts for free just by putting effort into shitposting over time then people will continue to flock here in their thousands to do so.
The moment that happens, forum will lose massive amount of traffic that comes in which primarily lures the advertisers to advertise here.Yes the idea will certainly keep the shit posters and account farmers away thereby enforcing high quality posts but it will result in humongous traffic loss.I'm afraid such opportunity will be taken by other developers to start a new forum which will turn out to be a new breeding place for the shit-posters and advertisers.
1077  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I need to create an Bitcoin online shop on: April 25, 2018, 09:00:14 AM
I need to create an Bitcoin online shop

This shop will have about 10 -20 Products and it needs to be written in php and it needs to accept bitcoins only

I dont want to use services like bitpay or such, I want to have full controll over all the funds and transactions

It needs to have a shopping cart, i dont even need a login or register page

Simply click on the items enter your contact details and pay in bitcoin thats it

Can anyone lead me in the right direction??
Whenever i search on google i always get to coinbase bitpay nd all that but I dont want to use them

What skills do you have to achieve whatever is needed ? You know what you need, now you just need to install a daemon and start coding! If you can't code, you need to hire someone who can do it for you.May I ask why exactly you need it to be developed in PHP ? Wordpress is an alternative if you can watch and learn things from YouTube/Udemy.
1078  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need help looking for a VPS that accepts BTC on: April 25, 2018, 08:49:46 AM
Ty. I will check it later and see how cheap the prices are compared to the fiat only VPS. I am planning to run a node for a long time so I am trying to find the best deals that accept BTC.
Have you checked them out https://vpsserver.com/  ?
From my personal experience, they're cheap, reliable and great at customer support.Been using them for 3 months without any issues.First month is billed after you have used the VPS for a month.Overall a good service and sets-up within a few minutes.
1079  Other / Meta / Re: Dear developers on: April 25, 2018, 08:27:23 AM
I'm from the Donbass and bounty my way of survival
People who consider bounties as their only way of survival
 - Should not be allowed on the forum.
 - Should really focus on getting a job in real life.
 - Should rethink their life choices between reality and virtual clouds.
 - Should go out of their houses more often and maybe get an education or something.
 - Should consider bans as hints given by the forum which indicates that they need to change their way of life.
1080  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust. on: April 25, 2018, 07:16:29 AM
1) These social media accounts were used by this bitcointalk profile to join many bounty campaigns.
That is completely fine.

2) So having a transaction with someone indicates those accounts are alts?
Nope.Having 'frequent transactions' with them and posting one after the other in the same bounty threads repeatedly does raise suspicions.Otherwise, what is the probability of your friend posting right after your post in the same bounty thread on the same day ?

3) If still this is the case saying sending money to someone shows that they are alts, then the way eth had been cashed out you all won't believe.
That's not the case here.

4) If you want I can explain you the whole thing in a pm becuase it is very long and I don't wether posting that here would be correct or not.
Explain that to the person who left you negative feedback.
