1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 15, 2023, 04:27:51 AM
Now Teofimo Lopez wanted $100 million for him to continue fighting. Of course, this is just another bluff, he is just trying to get the biggest possible money he can get in his next fight or contract.

He may have overvalued himself; he is not on the same level as Mayweather or Pacquiao, who are worth that kind of money. He is not even considered one of the top 10 best fighters in the world, so asking for such a high payout after a big win against Taylor seems excessive. I believe he should focus on defending his belt against challengers and consider moving up to a higher weight class once he feels he has achieved more in his current division.

Knowing Teofimo Lopez based on his previous statements, he just loves to make a scene and considers himself a superstar. At least he isn't like Broner, who talks a lot but his actions don't speak volumes in the ring; this boxer isn't even a champion anymore. Anyway, regardless of what he says, let's not take it too seriously. What makes this guy special is his ability to win, and that's what matters most.
Yes, this is also what I think about him declaring his retirement at a early age. Maybe he will just want another coverage on him or make a scene as you have said because for sure we are going to talk about his supposedly retirement. Maybe he is just waiting for the result of the Prograis fight and then challenge Prograis or who ever holds another belt in this division.

So it could be a bluff on his end so let's see how it will developed in the future. I also seriously doubt that he will just retire. There is also this element of money in this sports and he is always looking for a bigger pay so most likely he will have to play hard and then declare that he is coming back, win-win for him as there will be hype on his name again.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 15, 2023, 02:47:47 AM

We will know what will happen as the upcoming fight is already scheduled in July 15 in Las Vegas, Nevada fans will see him back inside the ring.

Looking forward to seeing great actions, exchanges of punches between these two fighters.

Wait, has there been an official announcement regarding this fight? It seems like I missed the big news. Could you refer me to the announcement where I can read and verify if it's true? If there is already a schedule, let us notify the OP to update the thread title and include at least the date of the fight.
here's a video clip of Nonito's Donaire and his wife's live stream(not sure what platform they used), they are talking about the fight happening on July 15 in las vegas and apparently, Nonito Donaire's fight with Alejandro Santiago will be an undercard to Frank Martin vs Artem Harutyunyan fight on July 15. Nonito also said that doesn't really care about being an undercard as long as he has the fight
Thank you, mate. Let's expect that it will happen on that date since Donaire's wife is his manager, and he would not spread false information. I initially thought this fight would take place later this year, but it's a good thing we only have to wait a month from now to see Donaire fight again. It's fantastic news for the fans.
they said they could have requested for Nonito's fight to be moved up to August if they wanted his fight to be a main event but judging by how they talked, I feel like they didn't want to extend it until August because it might over-exert Nonito's body for extended training and preparing for this fight.
That could be one reason, and for all we know, maybe Nonito has been training already when this news come out (February), and we have seen him with Casimero in the Philippines when John Riel was preparing for this fight.

And the soonest this fight is going to happen, the better for Nonito. We all know that he is not getting any younger, so training hard and timing should be just perfect for him before the fight. His preparation including diet should be 100% so that it will guarantee a good win for the Filipino Flash as he is aiming to become a world champion at 40 years old.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BRC-20 stablecoins the next big thing? on: June 14, 2023, 10:07:04 AM
Seeing how minting competition in BRC was going on is pretty much the same like seeing how people were massively joining in the meme coin trend. BRC is prety much the same like meme coin trend and it's only disrupting the bitcoin.

There's no useful project. all of them were exist only for money and no more.

You're right about that. BRC-20 tokens are nothing but pure cash grabs. They don't provide any real use cases to the world. With Bitcoin Core developers planning to block Ordinals inscriptions, you can say goodbye to the BRC-20 craze soon. I think Stably should focus on other chains with built-in smart contract features. But with competitors such as USDT and USDC, I highly doubt it will survive in the long run.
Pretty much, it's crazy though how the price of some of the BRC-20 tokens has increased and many investors are going gaga over them. Yes, I do agree it doesn't have any used case, the thing with the developer of BRC-20 is that he was able to exploit taproot and that's why they were able to create this hype.

With BRC-20 tokens out of the way, Bitcoin users can finally enjoy low fees and decent confirmation times. That is if the community agrees to take down Ordinals for good. Miners are too greedy to let this all go to waste, so time will tell us what path BTC will take. As long as decentralization wins, we should have nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts Grin
Not that fast though, the fee is still very significant high for bitcoin transactions, the lowest that I see is 6 sat/vB and it depends on the day. Right now it has grow again to 30-40 sat/vB so still bad new for us.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 14, 2023, 07:33:01 AM

And now that Casimero also campaigns at 122 lbs, we are still intrigue with this fight and that's why we are still calling for it. Nevertheless, it might be a difficult road for Casimero as he still needs to make a name for himself at super bantamweight. His fight here although he won, is against unknown fighters. So he needs to fight a rank boxer in order to be recognized again.

His time will eventually come if he does not quit. Knowing how good he is, as long as the opportunity knocks, he is willing to grab it. I believe he is still in his prime. At his current age, he can still become a champion again. Let's wait for the outcome of this fight and see the potential fights for Casimero in that division.
Casimero is a fairly well-known boxer and has won several titles in his class, even for the Batam WBO class he has his belt from 2019 to 2022.
He will be the favorite fighter in this fight.
I think he's not too old, so his stamina is still good enough to become a champion, his record is quite good where he got 33 wins 22 KO.

Well, let's see hopefully he can fight as we hope.
This is the fight between Fulton and Inoue, and if we see Casimero having a chance to fight in the future, we should expect that he will not be the favorite if he becomes the challenger to either Inoue or Fulton. However, as a bettor, I would be glad to bet on him because I believe he is very hungry for a win and to be recognized as one of the best boxers of his generation. It's more like his last chance to prove himself to the world, and I'm riding with that.
We should, if Casimero can still remain active and relevant in the next 2 years, we might say that he has a good chance to bet Inoue eventhough he would be a huge underdog in that fight.

The thing with Casimero is not he is not backing down to any challenge. Although right now he seems to be on the way to maybe a crack on a belt in any organization at the super bantamweight, any of those current champions right now. But we love to see him and Inoue getting into the ring, at least for the belt so that we can see how good Inoue is.
1085  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance crisis - how will it affect the crypto market? on: June 14, 2023, 03:28:42 AM

This issue is happening in the United States and I think it's only going to affect the Binance US alone since that is where the major problem is coming from. I still don't get why Garry had taken it upon himself to attack exchanges and making them to shift away from the United States since it looks like the law is too tough for them to be able to stay safe in the region without problems. Garry had been accused multiple times if manipulating the market for his own selfish interest and if this continues it could affects his reputation as a public figure.

I think the actions taken against Binance and Coinbase exchanges will extend beyond USA and have far reaching consequences. The confidence of investors is severely shaken and it will take long time to restore it. As we all understand that crypto market is very volatile and  generally driven by sentiment of participants, which is currently very negative and evident from outflow of funds from exchanges.. However, despite recent developments, the leading crypto currencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum have not been significantly impacted and gradually recovering their previous price levels.
If it has been shaken, then we should be seeing less than $20k price at this point? But what the price seems to hold and in the long term doesn't have a effect on the price of bitcoin itself?

It's because there are investors who are smart not to get affected by this negative news. It's only those from the US that might be affected in Binance.US moves out of that country. But then again, all exchanges might follow suit as well. Coinbase has plans already, so it's just a matter of time that exchanges going out of the US market. For sure it might not be good as US is the biggest bitcoin investors, nevertheless, we are still have that bitcoin halving next year that will be the catalyst for the bull run that no one ca stop, not even SEC or US government for that matter.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: June 14, 2023, 02:49:40 AM
In any case, I reckon the sportsbooks might be making a mistake on these new odds. Spence is physically stronger and his skills appear to be very much equal with Crawford, I reckon. Similar to Haney vs. Loma, I change my pick again. I am on team Spence!

I don't think that the sports bookies made a mistake in putting Crawford as their favorite, this punters know how to put and who is going to be the favorite as they look on several factors. And even before the announcement of the fight itself, I think majority thinks that Crawford will be the favorite going into this fight and that's what happen right now.

There are some instances that the bookies made some mistake on their odds because sometimes they failed to have a real pulse on what the people is thinking and the real score between a fight or game, but that's just rare to happen. And a big fight like this? There is exactly no way that these sports bookies will mess up their odds, other than that, the odds presented and published are exactly the ones as well that has been shown in most casinos in Las Vegas, NV.

Yeah, it's rare but it do happens and that's what we call upset and that is why we love to bet on the underdogs too, just like in the Teo Lopez vs Josh Taylor fight wherein Lopez really schooled Josh Taylor the champion and the former unified belt holder at 140 lbs.

And in this case, Spence is the underdog, but who knows, specially for his fight he might be a good bet. Although the difference in the odds is not that big, so still close for some and there are others who think this is still a 50:50 fight.

Looking at their odds, even betting for the bookies favorite, Terence Crawford, is still promising and profitable for me because his odds to win at least for the money line is still above 2.00 while for Errol Spence is a little bit over 3.00 . But the trouble is, even though Crawford have some upper hand in this fight, we cannot really underestimate Errol Spence because even if we don't like him that much or at least for me because of what he did recently, he is still undeniably good when it comes to boxing.
That's why this fight is really hard to predict, although Terence Crawford is the favorite on crypto based bookies. And I do agree that even the ML is still very good, specially if you are that kind of gamblers that support your boxer and then throw big money on that line. And same with Spence backers too, line are definitely attractive. At least though this is going to be a win win for us fans as we have been waiting for this fight to happen for a long time. And again, we will have to support and back our fighter here, regardless of what the odd is as we will never know the outcome of this fight.
1087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 14, 2023, 01:23:25 AM
Dude, I really like KCP.

He's been traded after winning the title with Lakers and now he's with the Denver Nuggets. I hope that he won't be traded again and he's good to stay with his team. They've got a chemistry and he's always there when he's needed on those important minutes of the game.

The Nuggets' management will make a big mistake if they don't keep their current roster for at least one more season. As for KCP, he's under contract with the Nuggets until the end of the 24/25 season. So I wouldn't worry about him because he will most likely be with the Nuggets.
Anyway, the season is officially over, and now it's offseason time. I even wonder if there will be any major trades between other teams this summer or not.
I think they need one more player to be even better, I'm thinking someone like Doncic would fit them perfectly he is good friend with Jokic and I think he would thrive in Nuggets. With that happening I see them win couple of championships more.

Lol how would you think that is even possible?  In order to get doncic they would probably need to part with jokic.  That is some nba2k wish list type team.  Dallas isn't going to part with doncic unless it would be for an insane package back.  Why would Denver gut theor team that just dominated the season wire to wire.  You go with your core that got you there and sprinkle in some bench players.  Oh amd then there is that thing called a salary cap..
They are also good as a team, no need to add another player to make them look good. KCP and Brown are enough for them to play defense ad come from the bench if needed. Jokic is MVP caliber, Murray is the second scorer and Porter Jr the 3rd.

Doncic is out of the question, he could be the franchise player of the Mavs. But hopefully he can bring the championship to the team just like what Dirk did to them. If he was able to do that, then I think he could be equal or even surpassed Dirk as the greatest Mavs of all time.
1088  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What's next? on: June 13, 2023, 10:34:15 AM
People are panicking now without knowing the context of the news that they've seen. It's just all about SEC and Binance.US not entirely Binance.
Yes, that's something that most newbies are not aware of, SEC is looking at Binance.US because it cater obviously to American investors and SEC saying that Binance is offering securities to them which is against their law.

And Binance is just willing to forget all about it and sacrifice that binance.us because it won't work anymore on that area. While the entire Binance company is not even thinking of it because they've got it globally.

But if you're looking for something to panic for then that's fine, I'm still calm with the situation that they're currently facing.
Well they created a separated entity for American investors and traders that's why they put a .US domain name. And initially it satisfied US government until SEC decided to create this fuzz about Binance. And all Binance can do is answer the SEC and then leave the US for good and they don't meet in the middle or at least SEC wanting Binance to get out of their country.
1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto experienced bloodshed on: June 13, 2023, 10:20:33 AM
The sec literally doing everything possible to discredit crypto and send it crashing but the resilient nature of the crypto space has kept it going and staying strong in this period of attack.
Probably that's there intention, but still crypto can't be stop or discredit even by the US government. The price might suffer but it will just temporary. Remember that we still have the bull run coming next year so shouldn't deter ourselves from buying at this dip and then HODL for the next bull run.

And what is most interesting is, they are not just going after one projects but multiple projects which the claim are operating as security. The market has really take a blow because of this negative attack but i trust it will end up as another history in crypto. Nothing to worry about.
They have been going on like that, they initially targets those ICO/IPO, now it seems that their next target is crypto exchanges like Coinbase and Binance who they think facilitate securities for US citizens. But yeah, we shouldn't worry about it, this is just part of the market, every like bull run/bear market cycle, we have this kind of attacks.
1090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 13, 2023, 07:57:54 AM
And it now happened, WBA Super Bantamweight Champion Marlon Tapales might now be the PH boxer who has the chance to face Naoya Inoue first, instead of the expectation of the majority, that it's Casimero who is currently still climbing the 122 division rankings. Of course, Tapales meeting Inoue soon will just happen if the latter will win against Fulton.

If Stephen Fulton wins against Naoya Inoue, Marlon Tapales instead will unify his belt against him. If Fulton still wins, Tapales might meet Inoue as both will be a contender but the status of Casimero when that time comes might still be hanging because he can't even secure a big fight "for now" to somehow give him a chance to climb at a much higher rank.

There's also a possibility that later in the 122 division, a PH vs PH might face each other.

Well then, too early for these speculations mine Smiley. What matter here is, Tapales is now almost secured to have the next big fight on his timeline.
What you're saying is not entirely impossible mate because as long as Casimero will stay active and have successive fights, soon enough, his ranking will surely increase and most probably will earn himself a big fight someday. Although there might be some changes when it comes to the possible opponent of Casimero, Inoue and Tapales because I think Fulton will shuffle all the cards in time when he leaves the division and vacates the belt he is possessing, if he won his future fight with Inoue.

If Fulton will win and Inoue will stay on this current division, the chance of seeing Casimero vs Inoue might take place,
it's possible since the belt will be vacant once Fulton move up.

Though if ever Inoue will win, then the chance to see Tapales to be his next target is possible by knowing Inoue, he wanted
to unify all belts.

Let see what would be the outcome first from this upcoming fight next month.

There are some boxers who are way ahead of Casimero and are much rightful to be named as one of the contenders of the vacated belt, considering that Inoue lost the fight and the belts is now vacated by Fulton. But just like what is happening in other divisions, an Inoue vs Casimero might take place although it's not that guaranteed because of the reason that I've mentioned but Top Rank might select Casimero during the process while it's not that risky for their boxer compared to when Inoue is the champion.

i don't understand why people are shoving the idea that casimero will face inoue that fast, even if inoue will lose to fulton. still a long way to go to face inoue. and if inoue wins, such fight will still be a long journey to make.
casimero though he won his last fight has a lot to prove before his showdown with inoue will finally happen. but casimero can always aim to fight inoue in the future. so long he is serious with every fight he will go to by always keeping up with the division requirements.
Maybe we just want to see them fight, simply as that. And because during the height of Casimero's steamrolling and becoming a champion of WBO at 118 lbs, and we thought that he could be a good match against the Monster and we almost see this fight happening if not for Casimero's weight issues.

1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 13, 2023, 05:25:11 AM
Nuggets ended the finals and Jokic won the NBA finals. What a journey for a piece of history in the making that has been made by this big guy who likes chicken nuggets that eventually became the face of the Nuggets franchise. LOL.
Those who have bet for the game 5 to end with Nuggets are surely enjoying but I've got a lot of friends dismay on this ending because many of them thought that Miami got this, still props to them.
I thought that the Heat can get this one as the game is really close in the first 2 quarters and I said that a low scoring game will benefit the Heat in the end. Unfortunately, the Nuggets can't be deny in their first championship.

I know, others might think of dynasty, but we will see if they can continue their magical run and for sure the team will be intact next year. So I guess we fans of NBA will have to wait for the next season. For sure there will be a lot of trades and changes again, not just for players, but coaches as well.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: June 13, 2023, 02:53:43 AM
Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

I asked this because those who made some money through gambling near me always go back to gamble and they end up losing everything they once made through gambling.
Same here, even in our place that I heard individuals winning big? they keep on going back.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.
Yeah, definitely it people shouldn't go back specially those windfall winnings like in Lottery or maybe big wins in a casino. But I guess it's human nature to go back because they might  feel comfortable or think that they can duplicate their winnings because they have this so called winning methods or just simply luck.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
Win some, but not a life changer, so yes, I continue to gamble, but not as I used to be.
1093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 12, 2023, 09:09:15 AM
^ We will see then, Teo Lopez is very young and obviously a lot of years from him to become a champion again or get another belt. So it's surprising to hear that he will retired after his huge win against Josh Taylor.

So let's see, again he might un-retire, maybe he will just have to fix everything up in his personal life and then when everything is straighten up, he can make a huge comeback.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 10, 2023, 01:15:34 AM
Denver is definitely the play tonight. Miami got lucky to win one game but they won't win another. Nuggets -3 to the bank.
I wouldn't totally say that Miami got lucky in game 2. I mean they have reach the finals already and defeating the #1 and #2 teams and #5 seed in the East. Because if we say that they got lucky means that they are not a good team. But they proved otherwise and remain the underdog throughout the playoffs and yet here they are in the finals and have another chance to win.

Although I would say it might be the most difficult series for them as it seems that Jokic and Murray are unstoppable and putting numbers during the height of the Lakers run, similar to what Shaq and Kobe are getting in the playoffs.
1095  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some possible ways to avoid phishing attacks and scams on: June 09, 2023, 10:57:22 AM
Common sense, I think this is one of the simplest way to used. I mean you just have to used it, sound judgement and it will take and make you safe. If you download softwares from fake and let's say torrent sites, so don't expect that it will be free from malwares. If you can buy expensive laptops and crypto hardware wallets then why look for free softwares in the market?

And then links, links links, whoever the source is, don't just click it. Again, used your judgement whether to trust the source itself. So think before you click.
1096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: June 09, 2023, 10:34:13 AM
So far though, in this fight, it's Beterbiev by knock out.

That's the expectation of the majority if he wins this fight, considering he is a 100% KO artist. Smith has not been knocked out yet in his career, so let's see what possibilities arise. However, regardless of the outcome, I don't see Smith winning the fight. His success will depend solely on whether he can survive against a 100% KO artist.
I second this fact that Smith is careful with his fights. He tend to be avoidant with in-fights especially if the opponent is wishing for it. Quite of a smart guy, indeed but yes as majority views this fight, hard to see artur losing.

Being a 38 years old and having 10 years in his professional record, the Russian-Canadian monster are still showing no signs that he is already vulnerable. Judging from his recent fights, he may not have the right speed to outdo his opponents but he does have the talent and IQ for which he knew exactly when to give his heavy punches that will literally knock somebody down.
I agree, he hasn't show any signs that he is slowing down. And if my memory serves me right, he doesn't have any injuries as well, so he is very durable. Of course, no one can defeat Father time, sooner or later we will see him declining. But as per his trainer and Bob Arum, Beterbiev is still the puncher that he is and can still fight at a high level. And that's why Smith's chances are very slim in this fight, and majority thinks that this might be a easy fight for Arthur and maybe next we can talk about him and Bivol for a 4 belt fight in Light HW.
1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: June 09, 2023, 10:06:33 AM
I’ve turned $1,000 into $100,000
I’ve turned $6,000 into $80,000
I’ve turned $11,000 into $550,000
and recently I’ve turned $4,000 into $90,000

With nothing to show for it…I’m a sharp sports bettor, but I always end up going all in. I can never be satisfied until it’s too late. I always need to go all in.

I’ve been reading comments from my last post (turning $4,000 into $90,000 and losing the entire $90,000), and I can’t help but feel like shit.

How do I get over the countless failures? I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.
I know it's hard mate, maybe the best thing to do is just stop chasing that $1,000,000 for now and just enjoy the winnings that you got in your last run. I mean personally for me, if ever I will have to turn $1,000->$100,000 that might be enough for me then.

Yes, we have our own dreams and chase it, but perhaps its better if you go back to the drawing board first and then just enjoy what you have won already and then not think about that $1,000,000 because it's going to be very very difficult, just saying.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 09, 2023, 12:32:53 AM
Anyone see this news?

Quote
The Phoenix Suns plan to waive veteran guard Chris Paul, according to a report from Bleacher Report/TNT’s Chris Haynes.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that a trade could also be on the table, along with potentially waving and re-signing the 12-time All-Star this offseason.

https://www.nba.com/news/chris-paul-free-agency-phoenix-suns

Ok, so after the firing of their coach, it seems the new owner is making a big chances on the player side as they waived CP3 already and obviously, wanted to clear some space so that they can get a new player. And if they trade him, might be interesting which team and what will be the trading package. Who knows, maybe he can play with Lebron? What's your thoughts?
They might just need the cap space because Kevin Durant is expensive and they have Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton who are also being paid well.
Chances with Lebron? I don't think a team will agree with that. Two veterans in one team mean you will use a slow pace type of game which is not the norm in today's NBA. Even Jokic is trying to do fast breaks on his own.
Wherever CP3 will go is a big question. I have no idea what team needed a veteran point guard to increase their chance for playoffs, or not because for the last few years, CP3 is damaged by a lot of injuries, and worst, the timing of the injuries is mostly in the playoffs.

Great win for the Denver Nuggets tonight. The revenge was successful and just like I thought, that face of Jokic after Game 2 says it all. He will come back stronger and he inputs another triple-double together with Jamal Murray. A very entertaining game and I wish Coach Spo has some answers on Game 4. What's his next move?
I just thought though that it will be Ayton who might be in the trading block as we have seen his performance on the playoffs and he was outmuscled in any way by Jokic. And then him not getting the max rookie max contract from the previous owner of the Suns. But since Monty is gone already, (I think him and Ayton might have some problems) it might make sense that they will have to let go of their leader in CP3, who is getting older and perhaps become more a liability in a gruelling 80 plus games.

Knowing coach Spo who is the master of adjustments, for sure he might have to do another magic in game 4 to tie the series at least and not let the Nuggets takes a huge 3-1 lead.

The big question is that why should we be forced to do KYC since we are using cryptocurrency which surpose to be privacy oriented tool and if a casino clearly stated that their demand for kyc at will then i will outrightly avoid them in other to avoid stories when i make a big winning since I am not ready to give out details.
Yes, I know it's a bit controversy for all of us, before we just need a bitcoin address and that's it, we can withdraw our money right away, whether it was big or small without any questions from crypto based platforms.

But now when the gaming industry goes big, I mean with billions worth of business and money flowing inside and outside of crypto bookies, it has been a target of regulators as well, licenses and other things including KYC was introduced now. And majority of us doesn't want to share our details and we are not that comfortable giving out. That's why it's very important to choose which casinos we are going to used now, at least with still no mandatory KYC.
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more secure, WBTC or BBTC (Binance Wappled bitcoin)? on: June 08, 2023, 10:06:39 AM
Hello folks,

Which of these two is safer in the face of what we are going through now? WBTC or BBTC? Is BBTC mandatory linked to Binance? That is, if there is a blockade of assets or non-parity between what it claims to have and what it actually has, can the BBTC lose the 1:1 parity?
I would say none of them, it's just ERC-20 token wrapped or pegged it's price to BTC.

If there will be safe and more secure it will be the original BTC. Specially you mentioned Binance which is under attack from the US government. So it's really good to be very careful with this whole WBTC or BBTC or even Stable coins for now.

So if I'm in your shoes, it's better to stay away from them, just saying.
