1101  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Brave and Binance Partner to Bring Crypto Trading Directly Into the Browser on: March 27, 2020, 05:55:48 AM

Binance would partner with any project as long as they can also benefit. Brave browser users are increasing due to BAT rewards and binance can also verify the KYC because brave had also been collecting data as well.

It might be too early to say binance will partner with more browser projects if they pitch it with CZ, Osiris browser team has the good opportunity if they weren't just into anonymity.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: March 27, 2020, 05:06:24 AM
investing with altcoin whose price is under $ 0.10 and hoping to get 100x from investment is not impossible in crypto, in my opinion look for altcoin which has a high trading volume and the total supply of altcoin is not up to one hundred million, if the market returns to bull, it is not impossible that stock can slightly increase the price to make 100x.

Yeah , keeping thinking that.

ZEIT was $0.000006 per coin on Jan 6th, 2017.

ZEIT Peaked at $0.000723 per coin on Jan 9th, 2018.

For the record that was 120.5 X Gain.  Smiley

Now ZEIT is back around $0.000004 .

Make your own investment decisions.

The invetors at least will have to see whether there is potentials, ZEIT doesn't have a chance of adoption to the mass. If they did have a list of coins in mind already, ZEIT mght not even be the last on the list.

Among the top hundreds coins, there are many of them that are less than $0.10. This is where they'd start looking and reading the threads of these coins.

1103  Other / Politics & Society / Re: This Is Our Last Chance to Protect Our Privacy Amid the COVID-19 Crisis on: March 27, 2020, 03:34:11 AM
"When governments seize emergency powers, they never give them up. Under the pretext of monitoring and tracking the spread of the disease, government mass surveillance via mobile phone tracking risks becoming normalized. Algorithmic bias now goes beyond academic studies as opaque algorithms can and will decide who can travel and work in places like China, and will no doubt soon decide who lives and who dies from the virus. Is this the world we want our children to inherit?"

https://cointelegraph.com/news/this-is-our-last-chance-to-protect-our-privacy-amid-the-covid-19-crisis

Tracking the location of your mobile device isn't dangerous for anyone.Hacking everyone's mobile device and gathering access to all the information and applications inside is the real danger here(and I doubt that it might happen).
Countries with a long democratic history in the western world can't turn into dictatorships that easy.
High tech solutions and algorithms can help for some aspects of the pandemic, but they are not a panacea.
By the way, mobile device tracking isn't effective at all.I don't ware my mobile device all the time.
If I leave my device at home, nobody can track my real location.

Leaving mobile phones at home is one way to solve privacy but that would make you difficult to contact as well. So many crimes had been solved due to tracking mobile devices so weighing in whether which has more advantage many of us may prefer to be located. Unless of course if a person doesn't want to, he could always have a choice of just using untraceable ways.

Goverments are always doing the worse to control. We all know we cant escape it even for demo countries but we got used to it.

1104  Other / Politics & Society / Re: This Is Our Last Chance to Protect Our Privacy Amid the COVID-19 Crisis on: March 26, 2020, 10:00:22 AM

Tracking mobile phones in Korea worked to contain the virus though. They did it just when someone infected who was in the plane, they contact all those in the plane and let them isolate themselves. This is sort of a very effective to them. We might not like this survellance as we want privacy but this works in this kind of crisis.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LATOKEN, Probit, What else? on: March 26, 2020, 09:51:47 AM
After LATOKEN targeted by shit token/project to conduct an IEO, nowadays I see they glanced at PROBIT and hell yeah, that exchange become popular by shit project. I wonder who's the next exchange, lol
I do not see it as "targeted" as you have used the expression. It is a business arrangement and the owners and management of the exchanges you mentioned have a bargain with the teams of the said shit tokens before the IEO began. It is business. Again, the development you have pointed cuts across many exchanges, including the almighty Binance exchange.

Just what my thoughts are. They don't target, its just that they need to populate their exchange with projects that are going to make them known and part of that is IEO promotes their exchange at the same time while the team gathers investors. The team could use them to scam but this can be identified by us when checking teams websites and project details like the whitepaper.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: March 26, 2020, 09:29:16 AM
Not entirely true. When bounty hunters tweet to rank a trending topic it becomes visible to all which bounty hunters are also investors. When articles are indexed on search engines, its goingot be there on the itnernet forever and helps the website of the project to be able to be seen by searches. But when the camapign is over though, the exposure of the project diminishes.
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold quickly becoming more scarce. Which will be worth more, Bitcoin or Gold? on: March 25, 2020, 07:33:37 AM

There are only 21M BTC, that should be more scares than Gold that there are gold mines everywhere especially in my country where small scale miners are doing in on thier backyard.

BTC will be fewer knowing Satoshi's coins are just there unused which were over a million. It can be used online which can be sent anywhere unlike Gold, its pretty clear BTC is going to more worth.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: March 25, 2020, 07:09:59 AM
As long as you join a legit project you still earn from bounty campaigns.  Accumulating coins and waiting til altcoins season is your chance if you're not dumping.

Having a high rank account in the forum and you also join the youtube and articles camapign can give you high pay to some legit bounty campaigns. I remember there are users who claime dto have gotten more than $2000 with Gowithmi project.

To me I think it's better to dump your bounty token because 99% of bounty tokens dumps right after trading starts on exchanges, every few ones I though would do great end up been a useless coin, even right now gowithmi dropped in value, it's really not a good time to hold bounty tokens
As for this moment and adding the situation it's best to dumped if there's already a decent value after receiving your bounty rewards.
The moment that the coin reach exchange holders will dumped it and developers who doesn't care about the project will allow everything
to fall without any concrete plans to help lifting the coin.

Can't stop participants from dumping for they do have the right to take what they earn. There are people willing to buy the tokens as well so this is where you have to consider the project whether the possibility of the token to rise up after few months of dumps from bounty participants.  If you can see the project is legit and you belive you can hold til the market gets better then the higher rewards will be for you.

1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: March 25, 2020, 06:49:11 AM

Don't hold your USDT too much, when the price dips and you look at the chart that its time to buy back you do it quick before you lose another opportunity. Its best to earn and profit than just hold your USDT.  While you are already at it trying to save your USD from bleeing you might as well try earning more as you have given more importance to stablecoin at this time of crisis.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoters still have a place on crypto world on: March 24, 2020, 09:06:15 AM
More than 50% of bounty hunters who use social media as their tool, have accounts created just for that. Meaning they're mostly spam accounts which no one cares about, no one retweets, no one views. And as such is worthless.
And that just amounts to paying promoters for publicity/awareness and getting none of that, this bounty hunters just want to get paid, even if they find for themselves the scapiest means to not do anything but still get paid they will do that, this act does not encourage projects to still follow this means of promotion as they are paying for nothing.

But the truth remains that no matter what happens the role promoters play in this network will always be needed,  except a project doesn't want to grow, then they can do without promotions, it has its imperfections but it remains perfect for growth.

Bounty was never meant to be in a way that hunters work on 50+ projects at the same time and spam every channel they can think of. Most of the hunters use the "like for like" pages to gain followers and friends, and this is wrong.

Bounty was meant to work in a way that people who truly believe in the project get a reward for spreading the good word. Not spam

This is why its best to concentrate more on signature, article and youtube promotion than on twitter. Its not even working on telegram because all there is there knew someone is goign to post spam and scams in the groups. Campaigns I think has to include posting original articles in some crypto forums for long term promotion on search engines.

Promoters always have a place in crypto, look at the crypto gambling sites and see how much of them are promoted everywhere.

1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoin ideas. on: March 24, 2020, 06:55:53 AM

Out of the box project are hard to think of which is why right now we have projects that are just similar to each other but in different platforms.
If the coin is good enough to make investors run for it, maybe it will be added to big exchanges whch is the hardest part being a developer. Big exchanges today wouldn't really try adding without looking into how much they will get unless you pay upfront for listing.

1113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How About Bitcointalk raise Money in BTC to Donate on fight against Coronavirus on: March 23, 2020, 06:44:05 AM

How about supporting the team from Folding@Home created by Stanford University who are finding solutions to the virus. They need CPU and GPU resources and help promote BTC at the same time which can be of good caues of the computing powers we spend.

So for those like me who has nothing to donate, try this instead. There talks about this is in this thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5232941.0
1114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How About Bitcointalk raise Money in BTC to Donate on fight against Coronavirus on: March 23, 2020, 06:14:25 AM
So we are now seeing big organizations already doing it and had been accepting BTC. Philantropist I guess will have more trust to these big organizations than sending thier BTC to someone not known for helping. The orgs can do it for those with big hearts.

If anyone can find the WHO and REd cross BTC or donation page where they post their BTC address, post the link here so OP can edit the first post. Maybe users can send any amount.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: March 23, 2020, 05:49:29 AM

During the time hwen its about to die, people are going ot sell it at least they can get a fraction of BTC, they wouldn;t be waiting for it to fully shutdown. There are cases when they weren't able to sell I guess. Like the ETH DARK that end up scam but were still traded in cryptopia which we didn't have the chance to sell and withdraw.

Hard to revive a project that is already accused of being scam. Its best to just start from scratch.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hive: The New Steem Community Hard Fork...Thoughts? on: March 21, 2020, 09:17:31 AM
I have earned most of my steem power through blogging and have never touched the power down button, so this hive airdrop is basically free thing.

I don't think Justin is going to give up Steem just like that while Hive also has notable people who can turn things around.

Only time will tell, I'm in for the ride.

Well he paid a high price trying to acquire steemit.  The community is divided so its best to just fork after all its meant to be independent. What was forked today might just be forked over and over since binance seem to have express they are supporting the hard fork. It may be listed to their market too. I'm not gonna be surprise if he will do the same like what do did to steemit.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to everyone today on: March 21, 2020, 08:28:54 AM
Remember the financial crisis in 2008 when banks stopped customers from withdrawing funds? Then drip feeding tiny amounts to customers via ATMs. This is going to happen again, this time it will be worse.

Take your financial freedom in your own hands, Buy crypto today
How did you know that the bank will close withdrawals for all customers? Do you have an accurate news source?
If this is true it is good for crypto, but if not it will have no effect

He doesn't have a link to share, its just in his head.

Business goes on as usual. The fastfood restaurants that doesn't offer delivery since day one though are now offering the free delivery. Things change and businesses adopted almost instantly.  I can only see few walking around but business is going on and banks are allowing people to withdraw as long as lockdown goes on. The transport of goods aren't shutdown, everything look good still. Its just funny people talking from a distance like everyone has leprosy.
1118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency fraud and scams on: March 20, 2020, 06:05:18 PM

We have an army of scam busters who are creating accusation threads every time they see scam to be projects. Often times they do have evidences of scam from whitepaper plagiarism to fame team members. There are still new scam these days which they normally look legit but in the end its a scam. Projects like the ones doing IEO on exchanges but after it, they will eventually delist the token.
1119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What indicators to use? on: March 20, 2020, 05:45:32 PM
I personally think that Bollinger band is shit, I have used it many many times before and it never really fully works, whenever bitcoin does something major Bollinger band becomes totally useless. I think the best case right now for indicators are probably going under 200 or not, if that happens that usually means something but that changes very much, weekly averages drop under 200 all the time but you have to wait for the next week to see it and then it becomes nothing by that point.

Just go with the flow, check the supports and resistance and check the walls and how much there is and that is about all you can hope for, nothing else. Indicators are one part of the discussion, the global hype for when going down or up is the other and looking at indicators you can only see 50% of the situation.

What indicator do you use along with Bollinger band?

I didn't quite understand Bollinger band too but there are users who seem to be doing well using it. Someone recommend it and the link tutorial on how to use it in the forum can't remember where but I have bookmarked it. If anyone wants to try this out maybe this will help you too https://medium.com/interdax/an-introduction-to-trading-bitcoin-with-bollinger-bands-9e484db9353b

1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: March 20, 2020, 05:29:52 PM
Guys insure (SURE) is listed on vindax but unfortunately today I saw news that they delist the token because of lack of trading volume, actually insure is the next project I want to promote but now I'm not sure anymore

That's not good. Their reason is LOW performance in trading, this could mean there is low volume to the market. Anyone who has the coin should be withdrawing or sell them if there are still buyers. That's the thing about these new exchanges that accepts IEO, it seem like they only become a tool for scammers.
