Since Lukaku returned to the Serie A he has been performing decently again. He scored a goal against Frosinone as well and now he has 3 goals in 5 games in the league. It is good to see him back here rather than getting stuck with Chelsea. Because most probably he was going to continue having problems there. Chelsea was so stupid enough to waste a good talent like him. I can't even believe how chelsea was not even using him as the main striker. Chelsea has been treating him so badly and this may also become the main reason why he was not willing to stay in the club. That's quite an impressive performance from lukaku at this moment. It's caused by he was playing in a new club with a new environment. He needs also to bound with a lot of an unfamiliar player for him. Lukaku was roma's opponent last season, but he can become team mate. It's unbeleivable thing in the football. Chelsea were actually using Lukaku as the main striker in the past. But no matter how much they wanted Lukaku wasn't still able to perform well for them. This was the main reason why they sold him first. After seeing his journey at Inter they took a big risk and paid 113 million euros to sign him back. But after that it was another disappointment. I always believed that it was a really wrong transfer. In the end you have a bad history with this player. What has changed that you decided to do this? Lukaku didn't have good chemistry with Chelsea and at least he isn't there anymore now. |

Atletico Madrid are climbing the positions again by getting good results. Their big win against Real Madrid must be a huge motivation source for them that they have been on a winning streak of three games. Cadiz made some difficulties for them by getting 2-0 ahead. I was also surprised to see this as I expected the game to be under control for Atletico Madrid.
However this wasn't still any hindrance for Atletico Madrid to make the needed comeback. This ambition will carry them to the title race if they go on like this. They have a missing game as well so their points might be seen like 19 as I think they would beat Sevilla home.

Napoli - Real Madrid is obviously the biggest game tomorrow. The odds are just too close to each other. Real Madrid are favoured for the win by a small margin. But it will be a very challenging game for both teams that's for sure. Napoli have been a little inconsistent these days. They didn't make the start they exactly wanted.
But they are still a powerful team now. Real Madrid and them both couldn't get comfortable wins on the first week of the group stage. Therefore it is really hard to predict the result of this game. My opinion is that we can see a draw with goals here.

Leverkusen are confident Xabi Alonso will not accept a potential offer to rejoin Real Madrid in 2024. Perhaps he is still focusing on Leverkusen. The team is off to a good start, and the players are in good spirits. Therefore, he still has a critical mission here, and leaving is difficult.
Leverkusen, under the leadership of Xabi Alonso, is flying high in the German National Championship with an unbeaten record after the first 6 rounds. Bayer Leverkusen is still one of the teams with the most impressive performances up to this point. They continue to lead the rankings. I liken Manchester United to Sevilla this season for now. I mean you know what Sevilla did last season. They were horrible in the La Liga most of the time. But on one hand their performance in the Europa League was marvelous after a point. They even won the Europa League title while not doing well in the La Liga. I don't say that Manchester United will win the Champions League of course.  But despite their poor effort in the Premier League so far their performance in the Champions League against Bayern Munich was really promising. It seems like they can concentrate on that tournament more currently. |

I started to think that Kroos should stay at Real Madrid for 1-2 more seasons at least. He is still a useful player for the team now. Besides he isn't as old as Modric at the moment. Modric is 38 years old now so it would be the right decision to part ways with him at the end of the season. But Kroos should play a little longer.
Kroos is ~33 years old for crying out loud, are we saying these guys should now all be chasing 40 years just because some greats did it , No! If this is allowed to happen then when do the young stars from Academy Football get a chance to play?? Honestly, with the few years to his name, he better be thinking of a handsome retirement package that can come from Saudi Arabia for starters... I mean I feel like he can still do something good for Real Madrid for 1-2 years. But I don't mean that he should be in the starting eleven all the time. I also support the idea of giving the young midfielders in the squad more chances. They haven't signed them to make them wait in the substitutes in the end. Modric should definitely leave considering that he is near 40. But as for Kroos he can be an alternative in the substitutes as long as the young players perform decently. But yeah maybe Kroos would get an offer from Saudi Arabia as well and everything can change. |

Such an amazing statistics from Leverkusen so far and their next game is also easy peasy for them on paper - against Koln home. I have started wondering what team can stop them in the league right now. Even Bayern Munich couldn't do that but I assume it will happen in a really unexpected game so it is better to be careful while betting. But no matter what they are a part of this title competition for real at least for now. But Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen are playing in a really disciplined way. Therefore I don't feel like they would have serious problems on that. Boniface has also drawn the attention to himself with his goals so far. If he goes on like this maybe we can start watching him at a bigger team as of next season.  |

I really wonder what happened to Rashford this season. I see him being quite unproductive since the beginning of the season. He scored only 1 goal in 7 league games so far. This is really poor statistics considering what he did in the previous season. The bad look of the team must have affected him mentally as well.
He has started to become selfish again as far as I can see. This isn't good at all. Manchester United need a solid team effort these days to start recovering again. Their target must be no less than finishing in top four. This needs a solid and consistent performance.

Their next game is going to be against Napoli away in the Champions League. It is going to be a much more important and difficult game at the same time. However while Joselu is in great shape I don't feel like we would see Rodrygo right beside Vinicius Junior. I believe Joselu deserves the position in the starting eleven in this game as well.
Rodrygo will need to work harder now as he also must have realized that the competition between him and Joselu is going to be tough these days.
Rodrygo and Joselu can also play together when other options Vinicius cannot play. Apart from that, there is still Bellingham who can be placed in the middle or on the wing. Honestly, Madrid does not lack forward players. it's just a matter of choosing a better combination of players. Joselu has perhaps recently been chosen more often to accompany Vinicius. but Rodrygo can still get a chance for Madrid's main squad. now it's just a matter of who is better prepared. Ancelotti has started to adopt a new formation which is 4-3-1-2 you know. Therefore there is no winger in this formation. Bellingham or any other player can't be used as a winger as a result. Otherwise Vinicius Junior would be at top of that list to play on the wing that's for sure. Bellingham's place would stay still unless there is an emergency. As Vinicius Junior has recovered from his injury he would absolutely be Ancelotti's first choice on the front line. So there would be a need of another forward player beside him. I believe that will be Joselu for now rather than Rodrygo considering his recent effort. |

One of the most interesting results of the week was in the Aston Villa - Brighton game I assume. I was expecting Aston Villa not to lose. However this was just too much. I don't know how they managed to win this game by a score like 6-1. Brighton gave up on the game very quickly and it was just a destruction later.
Ollie Watkins was the man of the match clearly. He made a hat-trick and attracted the attention to himself. Maybe he isn't the top scorer but he is one of the best versatile players in the league currently with 4 goals, 3 assists.

Milan really made it to the win thankfully which helped my bet won at the same time. I was quite worried while the score was 1-0 as the opponent was Lazio. I was afraid of the possibility of Milan's conceding a last minute goal. But it was great to see Milan making it 2-0 instead. Okafor relieved me quite a lot. Were you doubting pioli's squad? I know that if it is a common thing from the bettor being so panicked due to the winning only 1 goal but lazio was not able pressing acmilan's goal keeper. Pulisic was just putting his name again in the board. I can't even how can this guy keep deliver after being bought from chelsea. Acmilan is improving since the match against intermilan. Lazio was nothing for acmilan. Milan is now going up again as well as its competitor intermilan. The club is still having the same points as intermilan. I would like to see who will be trapped and lose three points in upcoming matches. Intermilan's pressure is far less compared with acmilan caused by interimlan was in easy group of UCL unlike acmilan which must be competing with some strtong clubs in the UCL. Im happy another cleansheet for acmilan. I believed in Milan to win that was why I bet on them. The thing I meant is that 1-0 is always a risky score. In the next few hours, there will be an interesting match between RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich. I'm sure Bayern will win this match, but it looks like the match will be quite exciting with both teams scoring goals.
I was thinking that Bayern Munich would find a way to win against Leipzig despite playing away. Because since Tuchel's system started to work great the team have been performing amazingly. However they couldn't make it this time. They could have even lost the game if it weren't for that comeback. Leipzig scored 2 goals in 6 minutes in the first half which was shocking for Bayern Munich. Their reaction time was really long which made me think about whether this was the point they get a loss in the league. But Kane and Sane took a big responsibility and saved their team one point at least. However Leverkusen are the new leader now and Stuttgart have also got ahead of them. |

It is refreshing to watch Joselu show the coach Carlo Ancelotti what he can do if he is allowed to play the number 9 role. Real Madrid has struggled in front of goals with Joselu on the bench consecutively, after Joselu impressive start in the midweek, he was rewarded with another start and yes, he got a goal and an assist which is very reassuring to the manager. The tie against Girona went as expected; Kings will always be Kings, and Real Madrid has rightly put Girona in their track with a comprehensive 3 nil victory away from home. It was a really shocking result in the Wolves - Manchester City game. Despite the insane level of dominance by Manchester City Wolves still managed to win the game by 2-1. This was a silent day for Haaland as well unfortunately. But this is football and even the best teams would have unexpected results like in this example. This result helped Tottenham and Arsenal both to drop the point gap to 1 with them at the same time. Arsenal's game was comfortable already but it wasn't the same for Tottenham. They hosted Liverpool and it was a tough game. However those red cards just ended their game. Aside from that the offside call for Diaz's goal was unbelievable.  |

Interesting news. First Son was rumoured with Bayern Munich right after they signed Kane. Maybe the reason was the solid relationship between Son and Kane at Tottenham. However this was just a rumour of course and it was refuted quickly. But maybe this rumour related to Real Madrid might be true. Son might really be the alternative choice for Real Madrid depending on the result of their interest in Mbappe. First they will wait for Mbappe to make his final decision on his future. Real Madrid can even sign a contract with Mbappe in January as long as he wants but let's see. |

There is a game between Wolves and Manchester City today as well. Rodri got a red card while playing against Nottingham you know and he got a three-game suspension. He missed the EFL Cup game and it will be the same for today too. But I don't expect this situation to create any problem against Wolves of course.
Wolves are one of the teams making the worst start to the league now. I don't think they can hold off Manchester City much. They scored first against Liverpool maybe but the result was a failure by 1-3. This time I don't even expect them to score first against Manchester City. I even doubt they can score a goal here.
