1561  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BitMinter.com * Optional Custom Miner, PPLNS, Merged mining, Newbie-Friendly! * on: April 19, 2012, 05:25:07 PM
The problem with namecoins is exactly the fact that noone wants them. I wonder if people would donate towards block bonuses or perhaps some of each block should be reserved for whoever created it.

Actually, if you have a look at the NMC Exchange prices as of the last few days....someone seems to want them. The price took an approximate 30% swing (UP) recently.

They are latest ..
Perhaps, shouldl try another miner...
BTW I'm using latest Ubuntu.

...and you lost me....
Sorry. I am a brain-dead Windows user...lol

The only thing I know about Linux for certain is the penguin and the amount of (male) virgins that use it Wink

Alter Boys FTW !

I heard catholic priests really like alter boys Wink

Seriously ? ......I guess it's a coincidence then, with what I posted above and all Wink

Thanks Man. I appreciate learning new stuff. Praise You !

I tried to decrease intensity to 5, but no change - still 50% load (

Check your driver and SDK versions to begin with and work from there.
1565  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Out of frustration i built my own trading platform for doing arbitrages. on: April 19, 2012, 05:06:50 PM
bitlane is already a known troll, no idea why he's not banned yet.
Luke, that's not fair.
I only really troll you (and perhaps others like you) because you are a Bible-thumping waste of hypocritical foreskin.
Now, back under the alter with you....and OPEN WIDE.....

Alter Boys FTW !
1566  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Out of frustration i built my own trading platform for doing arbitrages. on: April 19, 2012, 05:04:45 PM
If someone is in a banning mood I suggest taking a hard look at highlevelminer and bitlane.

highlevelminer is obviously passing malware by his own admission.

bitlane has been promoting this software on the forums and on IRC.

Watching these threads in anticipation of a train wreak.

Someone better get their spy-glass out and polish it up a bit. Perhaps you should check the IRC logs for the time in which you say I was promoting, so that you can see that it was presented to ME in a high volume channel by a few long-time/large mining members ?

Once I realized what it was, I didn't see the harm in laughing about it.

Unfortunately, I still don't know where exactly this software is, so if you could provide me a link, it would really help my guilt.....since at this point, I have no idea where to find it.

Tisk tisk....
You will never get your Detective's badge with shotty work like that.

Don't use I=10.
For a 5xxx series card, use I=8 as a MAX.....

That's your problem right there.

For my 5850's, I use

Code:
cgminer -o http://pool:8332 -u user -p pass -I 8 --auto-fan --gpu-engine 900 --gpu-memclock 180 --temp-target 69

With Windows 7, CAT 11.12, SDK 2.1 and CGMiner 2.3.3 this combo yields me just over 380Mh/s and everything stays cool in the process...
(fans under 50% most of the time and 66c to 69c temps).

bitlane, your posts seem to be taking this seriously and promoting it - when all it is is a scam to get people to download malware.

I have reported you directly to the mods in the hope of having you banned from bitcointalk

Taking any of this seriously and advertising them is paramount to helping them scam people since the download is malware

The guy in those videos is a moron and clearly knows almost nothing about bitcoins and bticoin mining

Are you fucking SERIOUS ? Your Sarcasm Radar needs a bit of work....as do your social skills. Sheltered life much ?

Are you THAT stupid to realize that this is a hillarious premise, not to mention, I NEVER STARTED THE FUCKING THING.

This is almost as bad as the guy a while back that faked a screenshot of a big sale of BTC and sent the rubber-neckers into a panic to SELL SELL SELL !.....then got left negative feedback because people were too stupid to realize that he was joking.

I would hate to think that a fake screenshot and a repost to a video link of an idiot would get me banned from Bitcointalk.org, but if it does, so be it.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you have played the 'victim' your entire life and have nothing to really show for anything, in terms of friends, respect but perhaps the odd suicidal tendency. Sound about right ?

Now, back down to your mom's basement and dream about girls (or guys, I won't judge).

<EDIT>
1 last thing ASS-HAT...
WHERE IS THE MALWARE FILE THAT I AM PROMOTING ?

Perhaps you should get ALL of your facts straight BEFORE you start crying about right and wrong.
1569  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGminer - web monitor beta v0.5 [switch pools all rigs] on: April 19, 2012, 04:05:27 PM
Hey Jim, any further development ?

I am still toying with it and have hit a brick wall in terms of my skill (skill=none...lol) resulting in a possible future feature request ?

Here's where I am at currently.
I am having to use 3 separate forms for Pool Management. NOW, with the inclusion of 'addpool' to the API, I would love to add that feature as well, for 'on the fly' pool additions....unfortunately a 4th messy form will not cut it....LOL

Here's a quick screenshot:

What I would LOVE to see more than anything, would be a single 'Pool Management Form'...such as:

Unfortunately, I could not code this....LOL

As I said, just an idea if you are still working on it.
As always, LOVe the script, easy to work with and modify.

Cheers,
bitlane.

I sincerely hope that was supposed to be a blatant joke ...

Not bad for three 6950's Cards eh ?

This explains it all.....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAZSQO7BAkg&context=C4232f43ADvjVQa1PpcFN1UgOfI_S3JWWPLN3QjlPbI2S2YHHC_eQ=

This guy really knows his shit ! He taught himself A+ !

Pristine Miner with the 'Turbo-Boost' switch turned on really speeds up the cards by manipulating how your PC sees the algorithm..

My total system hashing has gone from 6GH/s to over 30GH/s using the same hardware and a simple software upgrade because the guy(s) who wrote this software know alot about security and the hashing algorithm ......definately high level miners.
It's like an expansion pack, but I feel 'they' said it best....

...Though I did still offer to debug and write the fix for Gigavps, at a reasonable per-hour cost; I can't blame him for declining, considering it wouldn't get merged

OH GOD.

I can honestly say that I feel comfortable enough to speak for a good chunk of the community when I say that I am certain that many users would feel alot better if you had NOTHING to do with CGMiner, it's upkeep or it's forward/further development.

Con and Kano are doing an awesome job and every time you post, I can't help but feel you are doing nothing but trying to push them around and bend to YOUR will.....

Adding your name to the program's credits would serve as nothing more than to add a stain on the integrity and future public opinion of CGMiner in general.

Please stay away. For this, I can honestly say that I will pray to help ensure it.

LOL, he even used the same IP addresses.
Do I win a prize for calling him out and reporting him to you ?....LOL

You have to admit....those were some might fine detective skillz on my part Wink
1573  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Out of frustration i built my own trading platform for doing arbitrages. on: April 18, 2012, 11:44:17 PM
It was just a joke, i'm actively supporting Miningbuddy, i have messaged him several times today but he was not available i suppose.

Bullshit.

That post was written in the same fashion as Bitscalper communications I received by email etc and it's even ended the same using the 'BEST REGARDS' crap.
You both use GMT to possibly hide location in your user profile. You BOTH refer to 'joke' being complete strangers ?

How stupid do you think people are around here ?

This is either YOU or your partner.

If it looks like a Duck, Quacks like a Duck, Fucks like a Duck, Stinks like a Duck, Shits like a Duck.......
1574  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Out of frustration i built my own trading platform for doing arbitrages. on: April 18, 2012, 11:35:04 PM
How long did it take you? I might attempt something like this, for personal use.

couple of months of work, but the result is quite good.

Don't you just HATE it when you sell your code AND ACCOMPANYING DEBT to a 3rd party, only to continue re-selling the same code under alternate identities.

This is the low of the low and essentially means that the new Bitscalper owner has NOTHING of any worth or trust that this code hasn't already made it's way around the Internet 3 times over.

Nice job.

1575  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: GUIDE - Underclocking Memory to 150MHz on a 6990 running Linux on: April 18, 2012, 11:10:52 PM
Yeah, thats what I do on my headless miner for windows, because it seems cgminer cant change clocks when nothing is connected to the card.
Bullshit. I have 5 headless Win7/CGMiner 2.3.x machines running 18 cards that say different (network connected only, UltraVNC to manage them all).

Yeah, thats what I do on my headless miner for windows.....Ive started making custom BIOS's for all my cards.
Since when does Windows support custom flashed ATI/AMD BIOS's that are guaranteed to fail driver hash check upon bootup leading to BSOD/Auto-Reboots ?
AFAIK, this only works IF using Linux.

I know the whole 'YMMV' thing...but these 2 instances above don't seem very plausible, even with the best of luck.

1578  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: April 18, 2012, 08:33:48 PM
If anyone is really concerned about what is going on with GPUMAX, you can always hop on http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=gpumax and talk with others in the GPUMAX IRC channel.

Unfortunately, on principal alone, I can not bring myself to using IRC, although feel free to let me know if Morse Code or Smoke Signals ever become fashionable again Wink
1579  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: April 18, 2012, 07:35:14 PM
Is there maintenance going on 'under the hood' @ GPUMAX currently ?

This is the first time in quite a while that I am not receiving any Public/Leased work at this time of the day....nor have I all morning from what I can tell.

After the 'hickups' that a few of us experienced earlier this morning (website and mining server completely offline for a brief period), I hope everything is OK.
