2021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies/Jr members please don't beg for merits. on: January 05, 2021, 03:44:27 AM
It is not too ideal to private chat other members for merits, it might look as if the person is actually desperate to get one, patience is the main key to earn good merits. As a new member, it is advisable to take your time to contribute earnestly to the forum by having a critical thinking on whatsoever post or topics we are contributing to. Although, the merit is not as easy as it seems bet I beleive that persistency is one of those keys to earning an excellent series of merits on this forum. There is no need to be in an haste to earning merits,  our meaningful posts would earn us merits which I believe.
You have a pretty good mindset, mate, that we should not be hasty and too desperate to earn merits just to make our account rank up because we will only get ourselves in trouble that our account could get banned or get a negative trust. Newcomers or beginners should definitely read the rules and regulations of this forum first before they engage so that they would know the dos and don'ts.
2022  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying a Tesla with Bitcoin on: January 05, 2021, 03:21:40 AM
Mass adaptation of Bitcoin will happen if we are going to spend our Bitcoin on smaller businesses that accepts Bitcoin as a payment, like online stores, grocery stores, supermarkets, etc... Buying a tesla would just make Elon Musk much richer but a good advertisement as well since he also promotes Bitcoin, but my opinion is that we must help the most needy first to achieve the cashless society that we all want.
Indeed. Inviting and encouraging small businesses to buy and accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a payment method would definitely help bitcoin's mass adoption, instead of purchasing a tesla that will not benefit most bitcoin users.  This will help every country become a cashless society that would also be useful during the pandemic of COVID-19 to avoid any physical contact.
2023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think every trader should do to stay in the green on: January 03, 2021, 11:57:08 AM
Staying on the green is not always effective because if you didn't make any good analysis and study the market, there are chances you might end up in the red lines. It is the reason why you should be making a good strategy, so you could deal with the market and able to control your emotions without staying in the green.
2024  Economy / Speculation / Re: I doubt Bitcoin will dip below 20k again on: January 03, 2021, 11:27:12 AM
I also doubt that bitcoin's price will go down below $20K again because bitcoin is currently in the range of $34K, and more people are still buying bitcoin due to mass adoption. So I positively think that bitcoin will not go back below its $20K price, that is why I feel sorry to myself for selling most of my bitcoins too early.
2025  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What we do that leads us to be hacked or scam on: January 03, 2021, 11:00:29 AM
All the things that OP has listed are correct that we should ignore every unfamiliar website, invite, and message that we receive in our emails, social media accounts, etc. because it is the only way for hackers and scammers to deceive and steal from us. I also suggest that everyone should be using an alternative device that none of your main accounts are logged in on that device because it will help everyone to stay away from hackers even they accidentally clicked an unusual link.
2026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can reduce our chances of loss on: January 03, 2021, 10:39:10 AM
This can work for everyone not just newbie although newbie are most vulnerable and can get carried away easily,  it is also very important not to let fomo control us,
Also not all top alts can be trusted, take a look at what is happening with xrp, how would thought this will happen few days back.
Indeed. Newbies are sometimes having a difficult time controlling their emotions that they are too focused on their profits and losses, and they don't know how to relax after they make a trade, which is why they end up having losses. Also, the sudden decrease in XRP is really unpredictable that we really didn't expect to happen, so it is good proof that not all top altcoins in the market can stay or hold their position.
2027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Atlast bitcoin breaks $30000 on: January 03, 2021, 05:58:36 AM
She's holding steady with a steady climb, above $33,000 right now.

Cool
Wow! That's just amazing. I was happy when it finally reached $20k. But reaching that price made many of us even happier. Not only me. Glad those bitcoins I hold are making profit now. I just hope this'll continue for much longer.
Many people are really satisfied when bitcoin surpassed its $20K price because they already have recovered all of their losses way back in the year 2017. But we are more glad when bitcoin's price is now in $33K that it is now almost to reach the $34K price, so this really proves that bitcoin mass adoption is currently happening.
2028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be greedy at this time. on: January 02, 2021, 11:36:15 PM
Buying coin when it is already in a pump situations or in a high price is not suggested by the expert, but there are so many people that is greedy and they buy coin in a high price because they wanted a huge profit in a short period of time well that was thier way of making profit, but that is quite risky than buying in a low price coin, so i also suggest not to buy coin if the coin is already in a high price  to avoid losses.
Many people would like to grab every opportunity when bitcoin's price is pumped up, that is why they always make a bad timing when buying a bitcoin, and will just end up having losses when bitcoin's price suddenly goes down after increasing its price. People should definitely learn how to control their greed and practice to make their own strategy so that they will not make a quick and unsure decision, and to have huge losses.
2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins will do best in 2021? on: January 02, 2021, 11:07:28 PM
crypto is very difficult to guess and the year 2021 has just started too but if look at the current market situation I can only say that the top altcoins can give the best especially ethereum
The market is indeed unpredictable and there will definitely be new innovative projects that will come this year of 2021, so we can't say for now what altcoin will do best in 2021. But I assume Polkadot is making a good improvement, and it is still a promising coin that it already surpassed other top coins in the market.
2030  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin ever succeed as a currency on: January 02, 2021, 10:46:37 PM
governments are afraid of bitcoin, ae they gonna let btc succeed as a currency ? They are the biggest threat to bitcoin
No. I don't think that some governments are afraid of bitcoin, even it lacks a central authority, and will be difficult for them to confiscate them because bitcoin has a lot of benefits as a digital currency. Also, if governments do find bitcoin as a threat most countries should already ban their citizens from owning it a long time ago, and big companies have not adapted bitcoin to increase its price today.
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: January 02, 2021, 10:25:44 PM
From my perspective, this fight was only made just to generate or make money because both of these people are popular people worldwide. Even Logan Paul isn't a professional boxer like Floyd Mayweather, Floyd still wanted to make a fight with Logan Paul, which he definitely doesn't stand a chance. I also don't think this fight will not generate that much money because it will be a waste of time since we already knew which of them will won the fight.
2032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin's fees overpriced? on: January 02, 2021, 09:52:49 PM
We need to confront the high charge if we need to utilize bitcoins.
It's the well-known fact, that on the off chance that the interest is expanding, at that point the cost will likewise increment and that is what's going on in the bitcoin's expense.
In any case, it appears to be the cost is still low in contrast with the other Payments plat structure like PayPal or Payoneer.
Whenever I send the payment through Payoneer or Paypal they cut the profound exchange expense. While in bitcoin they don't charge a lot.
Indeed. We should accept the fact that making a bitcoin transaction will cost an expensive transaction fee, especially if we wanted to use bitcoin in our everyday transactions in the long-term. I know it is very frustrating to make transactions with bitcoins today because while the price is getting higher the fees are getting higher as well, that is why many people are having a difficult time holding and selling their bitcoins today.
2033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had you sold your Bitcoins ? on: December 31, 2020, 02:42:30 PM
I already sold out all my Bitcoins, and other crypto.

I don't want to risk. i would buy Bitcoin again when it visits $6000 again, maybe next year.

What about you?
In my opinion, you also made a good decision selling all of your bitcoin and altcoins because you definitely made a good profit during the bull season, then start buying bitcoin again if the price decrease again.

I also don't think bitcoin will go back to $6000 again because bitcoin's price is currently stable in $28,000 that it can probably $30,000 next year.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2FA and robbed of 0.097BTC on: December 31, 2020, 12:52:36 PM
I know it is frustrating and hassle to enable 2FA in every website we logged in, but it is more frustrating when you experience getting hack or scam, that is why I feel sorry for your loss. It is really better if you will enable your 2FA because we don't know when will a hacker or a scammer will attack you.
2035  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is debt on: December 31, 2020, 12:20:03 PM
I agree with others life isn't a debt we just need to work and sacrifice in order to achieve what we want.
You want wealth you sacrifice your time to earn it work for it as simple as that.
We couldn't live a happy life without working for it we need to sacrifice some time to achieve it.
Life is definitely not a debt because life is a risk that we should need to learn to take every chances for us to achieve or reach our goals in life. We make our own choices in life, and sometimes there are things in our life that are destined to be with, so life is not debt that we have something we owed or due.
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: December 31, 2020, 11:35:24 AM
Based on my experience, I know one of my chinese uncle are living as a gambler day and night that most of his source of income are from gambling in a real casino. But later on, my uncle got bankrupt that he had to sell his car to pay his debts in the casino. This gives me a lesson that it is possible for you to earn a considerable amount of profit in gambling and use it for your daily needs, but not in the long term because it is impossible for you to have steady winnings everyday.
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When This Scam Will stop?? on: December 31, 2020, 11:14:14 AM
~
Why are there no rules, like why don't scammers get banned in short?
That idea struck to me back then.
It was discussed a lot of times in here actually by some reputated members and I can't remember who said it but it said that even if those scammers get banned, they'll just create new accounts and do the same shit all over again. Nothing's solved and work has been done but to no effect.
That's why we got trust ratings so that even if those scammers continue to push forward, people would be able to see past trading history of it to be negative cause of scamming.

Sometimes it is sad that people still fell for those, because they're too lazy to read.
Indeed. Even we fully banned every scammers in this forum, it will be easy for them to create another account and change their IP address just to deceive people. It is why the best thing we need to do is to help each others by educating and warning others to make them stay alert and to know their illegal schemes.
2038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin have jump to $27000, can this be maintain by 2021? on: December 30, 2020, 09:53:23 PM
Actually we can maintain this price if we want if we are keeping holding and buying for sure we see this price again or more than that so if people are doing that it is really possible and we can do that if we have unity in a positive way not unity in panic selling bitcoin.

In 2021 we will make bitcoin value more higher or maintain to the more than 20k dollars. Hoping it is not like in 2017 after that year when the year 2018 came the bitcoin started fallen.
Bitcoin's price now jumps to $28,000. Indeed. We can actually maintain the current price of bitcoin if whales and other bitcoin holders choose not to stop buying and holding their bitcoins. And I think it is currently happening right now because many people believes that when bitcoin hits its ATH again it will go down again just like in 2017. But it all turns out it doesn't happen as we expected that bitcoin's price doesn't go down, so I think bitcoin will stay it's price until Q1 of 2021.
2039  Other / Archival / Re: ... on: December 30, 2020, 09:29:06 PM
I agree that the corona pandemic has made many people switch to investing in Bitcoin, and think of Bitcoin as a safe investment.
Maybe because many people are starting to realize Bitcoin can avoid inflation which is experienced by traditional currencies,
Moreover, the current pandemic situation has forced the government to implement a policy of printing large amounts of money to
restore the economy.

Which results in hyperinflation of traditional currencies such as fiat money, therefore some large companies are aware of this,
and start continuing to buy Bitcoin for long-term investments. But this does not make Bitcoin replace the role of fiat currencies,
because the government will never approve of Bitcoin replacing fiat. Bitcoin is currently widely used as a digital asset, not as
a means of payment.
This really proves that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies doesn't get affected in any economic status, especially the pandemic of COVID-19, that is why only bitcoin have only shown stability and growth, while stocks and banking system is suffering during the corona crisis.

There is no any chance for bitcoin to replace fiat currency, even bitcoin is the only thing can survive during the corona crisis because the government would not let bitcoin to rule without giving them any control, which is impossible to happen.
2040  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Small Business that accept bitcoin or cyptocurrency here in PH, worth it ba? on: December 30, 2020, 09:06:44 PM
Magandang makita na ibang mga establishments and small businesses dito sa Pilipinas ay ina adopt na talaga ang Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. But do you think is it really worth it na gamitin talaga as daily use ng Pilipino? Like oo alam natin na ang purpose ng bitcoin itself is a peer to peer transaction of payment in virtual world. But to the fact na volatile ang bitcoin and other altcoins at nd talaga sya stable to use for daily purposes. Siguro sa opinyon ko si Bitcoin talaga ay for Investment lng talaga just like stocks and package nlng talaga yong virtual transaction or gamiting as payment. Mas mainam pa rin na gamitin like gcash, paypal or credit card for online transaction.
