2061  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people always speak good about the dead? on: January 05, 2023, 10:04:28 PM
It's like the last pay respect to the deceased. Well, since he can no longer talk and tell what he has done good to other people, that's how they've conversed and interacted with the deceased.
We don't condone the crimes of someone that has been done as they have to pay for it and the person's death might be the payment for all of those crimes and yet, behind that there's still some inch of good deeds he did for the people he know personally.
2062  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: January 03, 2023, 10:10:21 PM
Saving money in the bank and investing is risky, nothing is perfect and absolutely safe. Banks are centralized and may face bankruptcy resulting in frozen or even lost funds. Invest the bulk of your funds in Bitcoin and save for an emergency fund. Holding Bitcoin for a long time can look forward to one day earning more profits.
Yeah, nothing is perfect but saving money in the bank is safe IMO. Your money is there being held by there and being kept to their vault, while them, they're going to use it for funding other borrowers need and they'll take more interest than you, the owner of that money.
We know how their business goes but you have zero risk in keeping your money in the bank until something wrong goes on.
Just like what happened in Lebanon and China, their deposits can't even take their money because that's what the government says so. And for you to avoid that, it's better for you to keep it on your own and just as we keep our bitcoin, you're also the one to hold your cash.
2063  Other / Archival / Re: Long-term Bitcoin accumulation continues on: January 02, 2023, 11:08:01 PM
Each year, there's the reality that the actual market exposes it and that's actually good for every individual that's in the market. Knowing that real bitcoins are out of the exchanges and they're having hard time taking back the trust of everyone. It's nice to see that a little by little everybody get to hold their own bitcoins through their own wallets. There are still some holders that have kept their bitcoins/sats on exchanges but eventually, they'll learn the importance that they should be the one holding it and the same goes for everyone that keeps on accumulating. Although it's more convenient to have it kept in an exchange but it's safest to keep it on our wallets.
2064  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 📝[Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns📝 on: December 31, 2022, 02:32:05 PM
Each thought about someone applying for multiple positions are correct, each opinion that has been given has a point and very valid.
I think when someone applies for multiple campaigns, it's not that even guaranteed that all of the campaigns he'd applied for will he be accepted. But yeah, if I'm a campaign manager and already had accepted someone and then later on, that accepted applicants says that he's no longer going to pursue his acceptance to the campaign, both have just wasted their times but to this, it is the campaign manager's discretion. Yeah, like everyone's opinion, as for the campaign managers - to his each own.
2065  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: December 30, 2022, 08:30:21 PM
They need a helping hand and if someone who has never been poor before, you may not understand what the actual situation is.
Words can be hurtful when you're talking to one of them and even you give the best advice in the world about investing. You just can't compare your situation to theirs. And that's because you're not experiencing the true hardship of being poor, they want to invest as well and be well in life but just can't because they can't afford to delay the crumbling of their stomachs.
The OP was a little hard on poor people, I agree on that, and while it is true that it can be difficult to convince them when it comes to matters related to money, that is to be expected, after all the poor need to take care of their money as they have so little of it, so they are not easily convinced to part with it, besides I do not think bitcoin is the best place for them to invest their money as at the first drop on the price they will get scared and they will want to sell their coins, so it is better they use whatever savings they may have to create a small business and try to increase their income this way.
He surely is. I was that type of person before that thinks what's best for people. But after learning that it just can't happen as quick as it can based on their situation and day to day living. You'll have to understand that it's not that really easy at all. Especially for those people that have been really working hard but still sees that what they do isn't enough, what's more for them to push through? And before giving some suggestions asking them what they want to invest, I'll hear them out on what they know about investing. We have different appetites towards investing and we may like bitcoin but not them although it's likely that they've got something better out of their minds on how they can come out of poverty. I know that they're the best hustlers but let's understand the situation first.

2067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if the government of a country is irresponsible? on: December 28, 2022, 08:41:25 PM
What if the government of a country is irresponsible and issues a large amount of currency to buy Bitcoin?
No matter what the reason is, inflation is already very serious now. If some unscrupulous governments print a lot of money in order to repay debts and fight inflation, of course it will not be one time. Credit money no longer has credit.
When a chain of interests is formed between big countries, behind the crazy printing of money is the harvesting of countries that are not rich. What would it look like if it were all exchanged for Bitcoin?
AFAIK, if a country is planning to print as much money as they can, there's a governing international body that has to be informed doing that so they'll be monitored. There are some legitimate reasons why it can be done but I don't think that they'll ever allocate to do it for bitcoin.
Unless that country is really a bitcoin nation like El Salvador but even them, they are not telling that they've got plans like this because I think it may not be impossible but highly unlikely.
2068  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How do you create good habits and break bad ones, what actually works? on: December 27, 2022, 10:30:35 PM
It's said that when you do something for around 21 days straight, you're likely to make it as a habit. So, that's likely to make you form the good habits by doing it repeatedly and the same goes for the bad habits that you want to eliminate.
Just keep on doing it and they'll be formed in whichever side you want them to be. But of course, it's still going to depend on how you endure the process, it won't be easy but it's worth it.
2069  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: December 26, 2022, 09:29:48 PM
Do this in highly urbanized area where people are decent. But not on places where it's mostly flocked by people that might get a trip on you.

That is one of the things I do enjoy about street gambling which is one thing that casinos or game make to do make more game and user experience to be quite better. The street still rule out making games we do play now and taking bold games on casinos can could be pretty good but most do originate from the street and everyone knows that.
I don't see it as something to enjoy with. Gambling should be done at a proper venue because you're not just going to stake with money if it's ever done on public areas but also with your life.

@Op is there already someone whom asked you for details and you've given but didn't proceed after knowing what the project of yours is?

With the signature campaign, we have no prior experience. According to us, paying users are not drawn in by the signatures.

Contact me so we can have a telegram conversation. Do you have a link to key performance indicators from a recent signature campaign that was run here?
Take it from yahoo. He's one of the professional campaign managers here in the forum and if you're for the results of short term running it, you'll be dismayed with it.
2071  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Can anyone tell this thing how is that possible on: December 23, 2022, 11:28:02 PM
It's believed that there are people really are gifted with this type of ability. Have you heard about the third-eye thing? I believe that it's true despite I don't have that.
But I've seen situations that someone who has it really tell something different and accurately that happened even if he's not even there. He said that an entity or wisp have told him that incident from an specific place. I guess you've heard the same story as before but aside from that, too many paranormal things I've witnessed as well so it's either they're gifted or someone has helped them to have that ability of discerning people or spirits.
2072  Economy / Services / Re: Certification Service - CompTIA | Microsoft | Cisco | AWS | EC-Council |and more on: December 21, 2022, 11:06:32 PM
This is a type of cheating for these certifications. That's why there's an exam to test your knowledge what you actually know. It's a professional certificate and AFAIK, there's an oath that before taking an exam, you should be true to yourself and there's no way that you'll cheat on these certifications.
It's okay if it's just like a review or study before the exam but, if doing this on the actual time of exam day, that's cheating.

I never told nobody needs to learn, we help people, who struggle the exam. Going to an exam without learning is not a smart idea..
We know what answers they will get and what trick questions there is. And that's the way we help the candidate.
Well, I understand your generosity but that's not the way it should be. Learners and students or professionals that wants to get those type of certifications should really pave their way in obtaining one and be prepared of it.
And in your case, as you've said that it's a 100% that someone will pass, this isn't the type of service that they should avail. It's a leak, it'll make them dependent on it and could take the certification and go out in the real world incompetent.

2074  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and crypto and stock is bs, but property is real on: December 19, 2022, 10:02:08 PM
Property is a very good investment and is liked by everyone, property prices continue to rise because demand for property will continue to increase, even if it is in a strategic location, the increase can reach 100% in 10 years or even less, it is only natural that property is the first asset that everyone targets .
And one reason why property prices are going to increase is that, they're limited, a scarce asset and that's why demand will surely be up continuously.
But, we just can't say that it is going to be up forever because once the housing market collapses then it will be a domino impact that there will be more cheap houses on sale depending on laws and the interaction of the government where you live at. We all agree that it's one of the best asset and each of these great assets are incomparable to each other.

It seems easy for the Old G to qualified there since most teams aren't that known and got lesser experience than them, so let's expect them to be with Division 2 teams and I think that's where the clash will start but still, I'm counting on them to get qualified for Division 1.
It only looks like it but when you watch some of the games you'll be surprised at how the other teams can also be as good and keep the series competitive.

In the CN region, I also saw Burning trying his chances to qualify for the closed qualifier and they only need one series win to make it in.
You're right, I saw the other teams that they've played with and I'm wrong of belittling them because they're also strong. It is that Old G is just stronger than them but they've got the potential too. Old G is now qualified for the closed qualifiers.
There's surely a big chance that they'll get qualified to division 2 and the matches will start on December 19, 3 days from now.
Sadly for Burning, they're out.

Team Liquid really wants to be a double TI winner no matter what and they just transfer Nisha to be their mid from now on and personally I didn't expect at all this move , or to be more specific , I didn't expect Nisha to leave Secret anytime soon.
When Team Secret announced his departure to the team, I was also surprised. But I think Nisha is still a young talent that looks to have something different because it's been 4 years when he's with Team Secret. And I guess he just want to aim higher and reach for the TI aegis and that's through changing his way and leaving his former teammates. Team Liquid is a strong team as well, micke shifting to pos 1 and they now have Nisha's versatility and consistent performance.

I think it was Puppey's decision to remove Nisha. It was really surprising because they finished strong in TI and the rumors were only if Crystallis will remain or not. The decision seems like a downgrade to Team Secret. Now it is Team Liquid that is willing to sacrifice some positions just to take Nisha which I believe will be worth it.

I am way more curious and excited to watch the South and North American frontiers. EG is looking to dominate its new region and the new team Shopify Rebellion. I am not happy Bulba is with the new team captained by Fly.
I don't think that it's Puppey. It's a personal decision of Nisha AFAIK and why would Puppey remove the most valuable player in the team? No doubt that Nisha is the most valuable in the team and he's brought the team in too many tournaments and played consistently so I don't think that it's Puppey that wanted to remove him. We saw how they've retained Crystallis even if there's the near to poor performance in the TI but they've honored him to let to stay in the team.

So the Open Qualifiers for WEU as well as other region has started, anyone know any betting site for these games? I dont think any huge site will feature these type of games on their site so Im asking here in case anyone knows some other betting sites. Still a week for the close qualifiers though so kinda looking forward on betting for the Old G team lol
I've missed that game of Old G on this open qualifier. So, there's still 3 remaining more open qualifier so that's like 6 teams that will be qualified for the closed qualifier.
It seems easy for the Old G to qualified there since most teams aren't that known and got lesser experience than them, so let's expect them to be with Division 2 teams and I think that's where the clash will start but still, I'm counting on them to get qualified for Division 1.

So many changes in Dota 2 scene in the last days but this is really a big one.
It's usual during the new season comes because there's a date deadline that they need to lock their team rosters.
2079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Create wealth first before the use of bitcoin on: December 08, 2022, 10:29:17 AM
It is a very nice job to tell people about bitcoin because it is the major currency in the world.
Major cryptocurrency.

In this rural area how can bitcoin be used when majority of people in the the town are battling with poverty,  and how can bitcoin be used when majority don't have access to Internet.  I think people in rural area needs to be financially stable first before knowing bitcoin.
There's no requirement for being an investor to bitcoin and I think people from rural areas are more eager to own bitcoin because after they understand the concept of bitcoin, that might push them to start investing and accumulating it.
Although, it's a valid point that most rural areas have slack in internet connection and not everyone there understands the new technologies that are emerging, there's just a need to spread awareness and have some education and awareness drive about bitcoin and it'll be a good progress to the citizens out there.
2080  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: December 06, 2022, 09:37:26 PM
the most important factor for rich is a big income
Not that only about having big income but the way how you will handle and manage that income of yours. Because I've seen people made huge income but still didn't ended up with a bright future of how lack of knowledge they've got in terms of finance.
Being literate to financial matters is a big thing and that's where the rich people are intelligent are. Working hard and smart isn't enough if you want to be rich but also being good in handling your finances.
